  Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or EliteBook have more strict security consumption patterns - they do not produce "stop codes", the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a nonvolatile memory to remove the RTC cell does not reset the password in this case.

  On my HP EliteBook Folio 9480 m Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 I have installed all the drivers on the HP.com site but a driver is still missing and on Device Manager it says device UNKNOWN?

  Yes, we have all heard it before.  But no solution did work I can find.

  We have Elitebook Folio 9480 m computers. I'm looking to build a brand around these computers. The only thing that I can never make it work is the function keys shortcuts. Œuvres of volume, which is fine, but brightness and disable a microphone only.

  I installed the HP Framework software and the HP Hotkey support. I see QLBcontroller.exe running in the Task Manager. No dice.

  I tried a suggestion that said to uninstall the generic PnP monitor from Device Manager, then let a PnP sweep picking up a new driver. Nothing is.

  Anyone have some suggestions here?

  I 9480 m with the same problem and I'm also using a business using SCCM image.  Tried the same things above and has not worked.  I have a 9480 m out of the box and noticed the keyboard driver on which is Standard PS/2 keyboard.  I watched the pilot on my 9480 image m and the pilot of the keyboard was Standard 101/102 key or Microsoft Natural Keyboard PS/2 with HP QLB.  She picked up during the imaging process.  I clicked on Update Driver, browse my computer for driver software, let me pick from a list of device on my computer drivers and chose the Standard PS/2 keyboard. Then clicked and restarted the laptop and now all my function keys are working.

  I hope this procedure works for someone else too!

  Hello, I recently did a clean install of Windows Enterprise 8.1 on my EliteBook Folio 9470 m and fight to get the configuration of the Intel Quick Start technology. The software will not install claiming that there are no prerequisites and TSRI is grayed out in the system BIOS. I have confirmed the presence of the mSATA SDS (lms-32l6m-hp-liteonit) device. Please help me get it set up and working. Thank you.

  I Elitebook Folio 9470 m with 1360 x 768 (exhibit no. 702871-001) HD display and I want to replace screen with screen HD + 1600 x 900 (part No. 708771-001).

  So, I wonder if I replace the screens I will suffer problems with my current setup of the system and it is even possible to replace the screen if it has a different resolution that provided with the laptop first?
