black bars

Hi guys, I use final cut to export a QuickTime movie uncompressed and then encoding in the SOUL for the web. When I look at the difference between the source file and the output file, the output file contains a bar thin black border top and bottom, but not on the sides.

the source file is 720 x 480 ntsc anamorphic and I wondering SOUL to resize the video for 580 x 326

I did several times in the past, but I don't remember to see these bars. Anyone know how to get rid of them? I UST have checked or not checked something by mistake.

Thank you

Use the culture on the Source tab settings. To eliminate the black bars at the top and bottom, you need to trim down the sides. Just remove a few pixels at a time, and then switch backward between tabs of the Source and the output to see the result.
