    Chris 100,
I couldn't find this game on the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.  Your best bet will be to try to start the game with the compatibility mode.  If this does not work then you should see if the game has updated or patches to make the game compatible with Windows 7.

  • Black and white spots on the screen

We have a model 1510 X projector.  Recently white and black spots appear on the projected screen.  They are now more and more people.

What is a sign that the world must be replaced or another problem altogether.

Hello, this is the same problem that I have on my other projectors, bad chip DLP from Texas instruments. The models are 1209 s and 1610HD, in Total, three with the question. They are not guaranteed bought towards the end of 2009 and dell will not extend the warranty nor will they provide a chip DLP replacement through TI through their 5 year warranty on the chip, if you contact TI they will send you to Dell, I am frustrated by this, because there is no resolution. The repair depot wants more than 600.00 to fix all of them. They have less than 500 hours on each and original lamps. I think that Dell needs to get by with the TI to cover this issue. I won't buy an another brand projector Dell, and I will make sure everyone I know will never buy one. I am fortunate opportunity staring the unit, but they will not even an exchange of pieces. These DLP chips make defective on any brand, it's just how the manufacturer will take care of the case. Samsung will replace free problem specific models and stands behind the TI warranty even if the units are out of warranty of manufacturing. Unless you have purchased an extended warranty through dell that you're SOL, unless there is a class action to solve the problem. DO NOT BUY DELL PROJECTORS! Jerry

  • Difficulty of the game resolution when its so big to fit on the screen

Original title: How can I fix the game resolution when its so big, it adapts to the screen?
While trying to play games in Windows 8 the resolution of the screen becomes very intense and can see about a quarter of the game screen.  It is not all games, but how do I fix?  I can't even go into the screen resolution options to change because the options option is not visible.  Help, please!

This problem could be related to my other post "Windows 8 read don't no the desktop correctly resolution".

Yes, I'm having a similar problem, but none of my friends are Big Fish games, even if many are games of GOG.  I don't have either all object games hidden...  Some I can fix in...

    1. right click on the game icon
    2. by clicking on the compatibility problems
    3. by clicking on solve program
    4. by clicking on "the program opens, but does not display correctly."
    5. by clicking on "program does not display correctly when selected, the parameters of large-scale police.»

After that it will tell you to test the program... which works usually then.  Unless for some reason, the game remains glitch, same subsequently (e.g. main menu screens do not disappear after you've started a game is something I met.)  The only other issue I have is when the game has a launcher.  As "Magic: The Gathering tactics" or "League of Legends", making it impossible to play these games at all.

    Hello

It's the Volume indicator... If it is the upper left area of the screen...

It should only appear when you set the volume of your player or the volume control in the taskbar...

I don't think it's possible to remove it completely, but if it is there all the time, there is a problem somewhere...

I just noticed that with the Win 8.1 I'm running, it no longer appears... I know right when it happened...

  • Black horizontal lines on the LCD screen at a specific time during the start and stop

Hi, I am currently using a Presario CQ61 Notebook PC.  My problem, as indicated in the title, are black lines on the LCD screen, apparently when the screen is reset or enclose itself turned off during the start and stop only. From the judgment, he produced a split second her stops the hard drive, after that the screen is black. The lines and then quickly disappear. At startup, lines appear after the Windows logo has passed and the screen went from black to start loading the login screen.

The LCD is in perfect condition, all using the PC. No line, no discoloration, etc.. Nothing extraordinary either. The problem does occur only during these two periods, specifically. I am also unable to note the lines when I'm looking directly at the screen. I have to be standing next to the PC, at an angle.

Now, I had this PC for a considerable amount of time, however, I never paid much attention to the screen when starting upwards or stop, so this could definitely be something that the laptop has done since I bought it. I also read on similar problems, and it could be an outdated video driver or BIOS.

I want to just make sure that it is not a major problem. Thank you all!

  • The laptop monitor goes black after the external vga connection screen

    Hey,.

I have a Qosmio G50 - 10H, Windows 7 32-bit. After connecting to an external monitor, the internal laptop display becomes almost black. It is possible to see some items on the screen, but it is dark gray to work on. It does not much adjustment of color or brightness (black to very dark grey). The main problem is when disconnecting the external monitor monitor internal still is dark gray and still does not have many adjustments. It's so dark on the adjustments of brigthest that it is impossible to work. I downloaded the latest version of the driver for the support, but still the same problem.

    Any suggestions?

    It is somewhat strange.
You can switch between LCD and external monitor by using the FN + F5 key combination?
If you can switch to the LCD only again everything OK?

  • I can only play in windowed mode. Windows 7 turns black and hangs in mode full screen.

I recently updated my Acer Aspire 5739 G for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and had not really tried any games on it so far.  When I put in the disc for Civ IV and door to the top of the screen normal preplay, one with the options 'read', 'readme' and 'Quit' in this regard.  When I went to game, he began to load up, the screen went black as if it were passing in the game, and then it stops there.  The computer is not freeze because I got music on and he kept playing when the screen went and remained black.

So I tried another game, Supreme Commander.  Same thing.  Same thing with the other.  I've updated the drivers for the Nvidia GeForce GT 130 M to the most recent, but that did nothing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the games, but that has not changed anything either.  Also tried opening the game in compatibility mode for Vista I know wherever they worked before, but nothing.

Finally, after playing with the settings for a while, I decided to try to open in windowed mode because it seemed that when the games have tried full-screen was the problem, and of course, it works beautifully.

So what is happening here?  Why I can't play them full screen mode?  There is something really simple that I'm not just doing?

    Fixed!

Just had to turn off Windows Defender and the problem was solved.

  • V3 - 574G black and cannot restart the laptop screen

Currently unable to use the laptop at all because he has himself in a State where I can not restart to reset.

When "on", the keypad backlight is on but the laptop has a black screen - and pressing caps lock for example does nothing (should be a status light?) and pressing Fn + F9 does not switch the backlighting on the keyboard.  The battery charge light turns on when I plug the power supply as the power light when the laptop is supposed to be 'on '.

The obvious thing to try is to hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, but after I press power for 2 seconds, the power goes out and continuing to press on the power button are nothing else.  Pressing power again after a delay to turn it back on to bring him in the same black screen condition as before.

Can anyone help?  I saw a previous response where the solution is to open the back of the laptop to remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes - but have never opened the laptop before and would rather not as still under warranty.

The machine is an Acer V3 - 574 G-56LU, and I have updates Windows automatic running (so has updated to Windows 10 anniversary for example), and I regularly use the Nvidia GeForce driver for the graphics card update.

A happy ending - has proved to be a card mother dud.

How's this for Acer service? Referred to a case of repair, dropped the laptop off the next day (Friday) to a UPS drop-off, delivery performed Monday at the centre of repair, motherboard diagnosed and replaced within 2-3 hours and packed for shipping to me upward this morning. UPS return delivery the next day (this Tuesday afternoon). Data on the hard drive that I couldn't save all intact. I am delighted! Thanks Acer!

  • When the computor screen projector turns black after hitting fn F8 and screen projector flashes

When you use a projector my computor screen turns black after hitting the fn F8 and screen projector flashes in and out, how to fix?

    It never worked correctly?
    If Yes
    Did you change since then?
You can use system restore to revert to this point?
    If not.
You try to play on the computer and the projector at the same time? What happens if you just play through the projector?
Try to update your driver for graphics card via the laptop manufacturers site or the manufacturer of the graphics card if a desktop computer, do not use windows update.

  • Black glitter and LED monitor S2440L screen

I have a new LED monitor from Dell which flickers to a black screen during market for a few seconds and then turns back on. I can't understand why this happens. It happened when my monitor has been connected to the slot built in HDMI on my motherboard. And it always happens when I connect the monitor to the HDMI slot on my new NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 of ASUS graphics card that I bought recently. My motherboard is the ASUS P8Z68 - VLX running Windows 7 with an Intel i5 processor. DELL LED monitor is S2440L. Anyone experience this state of the black screen that comes at random on the time where to watch movies or even surf the net.

    Hello

I have the same problem as you with my L-2440. The screen flickers and sometimes it's curtains blackout for a few seconds. I think this problem for this monitor is not an isolated case, because many people complained the same problem.

I have noticed before I installed driver Dell and Dell monitors management program, this problem does not exist. Admittedly, I don't use 1 hour after the introduction if theres no way to be sure about that. Anyway I uninstalled both and use the driver default Windows (generic PnP monitor) and disable DDC/DCI under 'Other settings' in the configuration, monitor and now dancing lines are for the most part disappeared (sometimes but rarely sound still there), but black still happen.

After experience, it turns out that it is related to electrical installation of the dwelling. Whenever someone support some switch in my house (On or Off), the screen will be black without fault. Im sure this model in particular have some bad Earth or something since I have never experience such problem in previous Dell monitor that I own or any other device. Try it yourself and make people put the switch in your home.

I am awaiting response to Dell too because it is the time of 2md my monitor is replaced (totally busted S2320L and cannot be turned on) and Dell replaced by 2440L as the third replacement. Anyway Im afraid it will break the monitor sooner or later and I'm inclined to return it...
