  I have a model mid-2009 13 "Macbook Pro which is been updated for the last OS. For the last two weeks, I had problems make him wake up once he starts in mode 'sleep'.   As I turn my macbook pro to El Capitan, I get a black screen after waking up, and then I Force shutdown. I tried several times reset PRAM and SMC, but it won't work. I get the same thing.

  On the newspapers I get the same error messages even if I was not using Macbook. Can anyone help please? Thank you.

• Damage to the screen from Macbook Pro retina

  Then I found a thread similar to this one.

  But no one seemed to have a definitive answer.

  I have a Macbook Pro 13 "retina 2014 and there is some damage on the screen. Seems to be the transparent layer that is consumed.

  I have used a cleaner Whiteboard which I assume is the question. Is there any difficulty in it and if not how easy/expensive is it to fix?

  

  Call Apple and make no mention of yo trying to clean it up. Products Apple are not guaranteed against this type of damage, unless you bought in a store that offers additional guarantees that apple does not offer.

  I have an old iMac G4 which I would use as a secondary display for my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2012).

  My guess would be to use the VGA port and port G4 mini Thunderbolt of the MBP but can work?

  I am from Nepal and bought Macbook pro 13 Futureworld last year. I noticed stains and spots on Macbook pro early 2015. Its the apple care warranty. I would like to know if it is covered by the apple care warranty or not. With this question, I also think questions of wifi signal that falls and has bad reception. Windows 10 Hp431 works very well, Iphone5 too connects well to the router and on speedtest shows better resistance than that of the macbook pro 13.

• Black screen on Satellite Pro C870-1CJ

  I have a portable Satellite PRO 1CJ C870. A few days ago I got a blue screen showing display problems and since then, the laptop screen is black and there is no picture shown in it. I am entered mode secure and tried to connect it to a VGA monitor with success.
  As I guess it was a problem with the graphics card then in the blue screen message, he made atikmgpag.sys that I tried to install the latest version of the graphics driver t but no news on the laptop screen.
  I also tried Toshiba Tempro, which has not had the success also. I have tried several things without result.

  Can anyone help me to solve the problem? I'm a bit desperate.

  As far as I know your laptop Satellite Pro C870-1CJ was equipped with two graphics cards:

  1 - internal Intel Graphics HD 4000, which is part of the Intel CPU
  2 external ATI Radeon HD M 7610

  The error that contains information about the atikmgpag.sys file seems to be related to the ATI graphics card driver.

  I'm not sure, but it might be possible that the graphics chip from ATI external began to malfunction.

  Anyway, if possible, try to retrieve the laptop as mentioned by Liam
  If this is not possible, the material may be affected and it could be costly to repair.

• Black screen on Sat Pro A10

  Hello

  I have a Sat Pro A10.

  My problem is that my screen is so dark, that I can't see the content (maybe it's the backlight?). However when the computer starts, I can see the login screen of Toshiba fine. I also have the image if normal poster if I close the lid, and then open it. However the screen will stay only normal for a few seconds.

  Anyone have any ideas what is wrong here? Why does the screen work at boot and then deceive you? Is this a hardware or a software problem?

  It sounds like a problem with your inverter FL. You will need to take your laptop to a partner of Service allowed for it to be repaired or replaced.

• Using iMac as a second screen for macbook pro running Windows 10

  I have a 27-inch iMac mid-2011 running El Capitan I want to use as a target for a 2015 start display 13 inch MacbookPro retina through 10 Windows bootcamp (it's Windows 10 education, for what it's worth).

  I have attached two machines via TB to TB.

  The iMac has no trouble acting as a target for the MacbookPro screen when the MbP running El Capitan, but when I pass the MbP to Windows 10 iMac switch when I type the command-F2.

  In Windows mode, bluetooth and USB work fine on the MbP.

  Thoughts? Thank you.

  Windows has no support for TB or target Display Mode.

  Solved. I bought a drive hard usb 3 again, on the cost of all the cables and converters to run a hard drive almost 10 year.

  After unchecking "Use graphics processor", quit Photoshop and re-open and check again.  Alternatively, you can try to boot mode safe (which will also disable the graphic processor).  To return to 13.0, unfortunately the only way I know how is to uninstall Photoshop and reinstall, but it isn't as long process and retains all of your settings.

  That said, these are just two alternatives - if the graphics processor is disabled, performance will suffer significantly in Photoshop.  If go back you to 13.0, performance is acceptable, but you don't have support of the retina.  Apple referred me to Adobe on this matter, and as I saw no graphical problems in other programs (including Lightroom), I tend to believe it's a matter of Photoshop.

• MacBook Pro black screen!

  The screen went black on my MacBook Pro (13-inch Retina display) 2013. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions I found online (PRAM, MSC, flashlight, etc)... the only change is that the screen changes from black to gray, but nothing else happens. Took it to the Apple Store, and they said I need a new view to the tune of $450... Ouch! I do not spend as much on a Mac for 3 years. This is my first Mac and I don't have any spare parts, nor the technical capacity to perform the repairs myself. Other (less expensive) suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  You can get parts at Powerbookmedic.com and iFixit.com web sites.  They also have installation instructions.  Maybe your abilities are good enough to do it yourself, then take a look.
