  Hey I found the problem. the hard drive was not entirely start cause I'm a card mother amd. has my other hard drive and just reinstalled windows has windows 7 on it and its working fine also the cd drive has been bad had to pass out but thanks for the info, I can use it later in life.

  To get the orange FF tab, go to view > toolbars > menu bar. This should uncheck the menu bar giving you the orange button.

  To get the new interface, you need to hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".

  Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.
