  With BlackBerry Balance, who "owns" my BBM and SMS.  The unit and the line are mine and expenced to society, but they connect it to the Z10 BES server.  I'll always be the person who has texts and the BBM and how on my gmail account?  If they can erase all this?

  Thanks for the comments vicious and Eric. It seems that things are still a bit ambiguous. This is not the "normal circumstances" one wonders. I'm still trying to get used to typing on glass. Not very quickly to it yet. Thanks again for your help.

  Hi team,

  I want to transfer my contacts from Z10 and Q10 on my device inherited from curve 9220. I have already backed up my data using the BlackBerry link and I know that my curve is not compatible with BlackBerry Link. Can you give me a step-by-step procedure on how to synchronize my contacts from my BlackBerry 10 devices to my Gmail account? I intend to add my Gmail account on my device of curve and I sync my data out there.  Thank you for the quick response on this subject.

  Even with an older BlackBerry which doesn't BB10 you can use the BB link to transfer information.

  I live in the Netherlands and my service provider is Vodafone but I don't get an update so my version of the os is 10.0.9.348 with this version it is not possible to download whatsapp blackberry appworld.

  There are solutions for this.

  Try this:

  1. The Z10 your USB to PC connection and close connection.
  2. Open the back of the Z10 and Remove the card SIM (not card of support).
  3. Open a PC browser, and then reconnect the Z10 for your PC.
  4. In the PC browser, type the URL: www.blackberry.com/upgrades
  5. Scroll and click Find upgrades. * If your Z10 is off at this point, try now pressing and hold the power button on top for 10 seconds to switch the Z10 on, or to allow the Office to recognize the Z10 is connected.
  6. If the Z10 is recognised, and an update is available to you, you will be asked if you want to upgrade.
  7. Proceed to the upgrade, could last from one to two hours depending on your device data, etc. and the speed of data.

  Regarding your question, there is already a Knowledge Base article that is associated with this error:

  KB34245 : A checkbox, and then a red x appears when a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or BlackBerry 6 to 7 sends a message to a smartphone BlackBerry 10 via BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.1.23

   

  In my opinion # Workaround seems to be a little hard.  So I prefer you should first try to reinstall the BlackBerry Messenger application and see if it helps with your current problem.

  To make your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

  Your BB10 device must be enabled on a server (Blackberry Enterprise Service) BES10 in order to have some balance BB.  It is not available otherwise.  If you are on a BES10 service from your company, see scientists responsible and let them know that it does not work on your device.

• BlackBerry software problems sync Z10 and new computer.

  My BB Z10 has many contacts, none of them in the «Local Contacts» account This is to avoid duplicates, I only have my contacts on the BB link account that I use to synchronize with my desktop Outlook. Now, I have replaced the computer and only have contacts on my device.

  When I tried to sync with my new computer, it is what is happening. BB link creates a new account link (named after my computer) BB for synchronization. And because there is nothing in this new account and nothing on the computer, no contacts Sync. Apparently the BB link synchronize another account, only local Contacts or the account that he created the first time that you sign in with your new computer.

  I tried to put a contact on the Group of local Contacts, and then Resync. This contact was Sync and placed on the computer (Outlook) and on a new account link my device BB.

  So I thought that I could just walk-around her by placing all my contacts in my group of local Contacts. I could not find a way to 'select all' and don't feel like using the function "selection much" click on my 900 contacts.

  Unfortunately, there is no way that you can select all contacts with just a tap. You should choose the option "Select more" and to highlight the contacts one by one.

  Also he by design this Blackberry link will only synchronize the device data associated with the link BB for this computer account.

  That means, 1 BB PC link data on the device will not sync with 2 PCs.
