  About 2 years ago my Blackberry Curve got stolen. I had all my data saved on my Mac that I used the Balckberry Desktop Software for Mac at the time. I recently bought a Z10 and I read on how to transfer data from various devices, including older BBs in the Z10. Only problem is that the procedure requires that you plug the previous device I longer because it was stolen.

  The z10 uses the link instead of office.  I supported my bold 9900 before this happened.  How can I get that restored the z10, so I can get my contacts etc.?

  You can try if you have the "BOLD" phone... Download the Blackberry link (instead of the desktop computer)... to open the link, "BOLD", plug in bold. It should ask you to transfer data.  that & it invites to plug your z10 & then begins the transfer of data.

  I warn you this right now, mine is stuck at transfer 3.4 MB of 383.8 MB is yet to see if this work.  I have a slow computer, so I don't know if it's just the computer it slows down or is it really stuck.

  Since I updated to version 10.2.1.2102 of the software I was not able to receive messages from the hub of blackberry facebook chat. Before the update whenever I had my phone connected to a wireless network it was automatically getting messages facebook on the hub.   Go to settings > accounts and remove contacts from Google.  Then restart the Blackberry Z10 and add Google contacts and let me know if you are still receiving duplicates.
