BlackBerry 9300 Curve camera smartphone

Hello

My camera suddenly stopped working. I am able to access the page of the camera, and the 'place', 'photos' and 'mode' keys works, but the camera button won't. In addition, the camera screen is black, but it allows me to zoom in and zoom out.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, try the camera again.

Please do not use foul language.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

  • MP3 of blackBerry on Curve 8520 Smartphones?

Hi, I am a complete newbie to Blackberry devices. As I was intending to buy me a 8520 I looked through internet, information on the homepage of the Blackberry and wondering why there is no mention of mp3 files to listen to on the media player. I asked the technical support by e-mail twice, but they don't seem to take my question seriously and all simply not responded or referred me to an articlel knowledge base that does not concern the 8520. I think honestly a little disappointed and I'm getting me Alternatively a different smartphone until I found this place, hoping that someone is able and willing to answer my question as to if the BB 8520 can play mp3-songs.

    Thanks in advance, RREbi

The Curve 8520 as with any new smartphone BlackBerry supports MP3 playback.

The specifications indicated on the Curve 8520 page have been updated to account for this:

  • BlackBerry BB Curve 8300 Smartphones - sync Outlook 2007 does not, what to do?

    Hello

I have the curve, I used to use Office XP with outlook XP for my date, who has never given any problems of synchronization between outlook xp and blackberry. With the new Office 2007, I can not sync with outlook!

It loads (the desktopmanager) and say: duplicate records found on the device. I bring to synchronize, cause, I get a lot of dates and I can't put them into 2 devices. If he is used to synchronize with the new office. I need to change phones.

I love the BB. But I need to sync my appointments. It is not also to synchronize contacts, tasks or notes...

Please help, how to solve this?

    Yes, of course,

The changeover between versions of outlook, the calendar has somehow stuck or something. Because it first checks the calendar, the other sync options do not work as well.

The way I solved it was:

I deleted all my calendar items in my BB. Theres a simpel how.

Just go to calendar-online then see the grille-online go to-online put in a date away now as 2020, then will keep up to date and remove all previos nominations. So the only thing you need to do manually is delete the recurring date, such as birth dates and so on. Then clik options and check if there is any calendar item, so the counter is 0.

Then reconnect the BB to the computer and now it will load all the data since the Outlook for BB.

And after that it will synchronize right once again.

    Problem solved.

  • BlackBerry BB Curve 8520 Smartphones - how to delete an email account?

I'm in so much trouble!  I created my account earthlink.net on my phone so I could send a picture to my PC and now I can't get off!  I followed several suggestions on this forum and some of my own and now I can't find any option on my curve to set up an e-mail account.  I deleted my login and password for my e-mail account on my phone; I deleted the CIMIME in the Service log and deleted something called BIS 5 from somewhere.  I always get emails on my phone.

I synchronize my calendar with Outlook and the same e-mail address, so I did not get rid of CICAL in the maintenance book.

Try connecting to your BlackBerry® Internet Service account to http://att.blackberry.com.  If you are unable to do so, can you send me your PIN code via private Message so I can take a look at your account?

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry BB Curve 8330 Smartphones and Palm Tungsten E2 - sync and use the Office to

    I have a new BB Curve 8330.

Before I used a cell and a Palm Tungsten E2.

I managed to export/import data from Palm to BB (via Microsoft Outlook).

I thought that the Blackberry will be delivered with its software for calendar/contacts/tasks - but I see only synchronize with Outlook.

I want to continue to use the Palm Desktop software and sync it on Blackberry.

It seems that it's not possible.

    Is it?

I have the habit of the Palm E2 and never used Outlook before. I like the features of Palm but BB does not work with it. Why does this work?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Taylor

    Hello

You will not be able to use the Palm and Blackberry at the same time. BB does the synchronization only with Outlook. But the good news is that Palm will also sync with Outlook. If nothing is lost.

Sync the Palm to Outlook, and then synchronize the Blackberry to Outlook. Continue to use Outlook. You will have no need of the Palm is useless since once you have all the info in your Blackberry.

The functionality that a single out of the BB, it's that you don't have a portable documents, as it is in the Palm. I hope that manufacturers will think about fixing that in a couple of new editions to come.

I love my Blackberry and it is easy to forget that it is so different from the Palm.

If you like your Palm and can not get used to the BB then I suggest you get a Palm of Cingular ATT phone.

is much larger that the Curve 8330 I have.

I love my BB Curve 8330.

I've learned it's pretty fast and I gave my cousin my Palm E2.

Now, everything depends on how fast learner you are and how open you are to new.

    Good luck!

    any help would be appreciated

    Thank you

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

If it does not start - try using a wall charger if you're not. If you are connected via USB to the computer, make sure that you have Desktop Manager (or USB device drivers), you can download it below.

Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.

That's what you ask dethrone, there is no other way.

  • BlackBerry bold Curve 8330 smartphones

I was wondering if there are two LEDs of different color on the device. Mine is only to show a red light, but I was wondering if there is another color. Thanks in advance!

In the BlackBerry device, there are 4 types of LED indiateur (light). LED means Light Emitting Diode. The light flashes in different colours to offer different notifications to the BlackBerry user.

    Flashes RED

The light flashes red when you have messages inbound/waiting communication on your phone - new call call/gaps, new BlackBerry Messenger message, new SMS, new email, etc.

    Flashing GREEN
Light coverage. This lets you know that you are connected to a network.
If you want to disable the green light blinks, go to Options > keyboard/screen and turn cover seeing off.

    Flashing BLUE

Lets you know that your phone is connected to a Bluetooth device such as a Bluetooth headset.

    Flashing YELLOW

Plug it! A flashing yellow light means that it is time to recharge your BlackBerry that you are running low on battery.
