  Hello!

  I got a Blackberry Curve 9330 for 6 months now and the battery causes me problems.

  About a month ago, the aircraft started to reset each time is received the slightest shock. I looked at the battery, and one of the four metal terminals had some dry on acids. I cleaned and handed over the battery. Today, after sending an SMS, my BB has shown a symbol of a battery with a red top 'X'.   I have the 8330 as well through Verizon. I have a certain number of calls per day and run the service e-mail constantly more browse the net, etc.  With Bluetooth off I get usually 24 to 48 hours of use before that I feel a need to charge (1 bar). However, with the Bluetooth on I need to do it in 24 hours.

  Also check that the unused applications are closed. Do not know if they would consume power, but who knows. One way to check is ALT then press the exhaust (arrow to the right of the trackball). This will bring up a set of icons indicating the applications or services running. Home, browser, Message, Messenger, and call log are always on. Something else must be closed.

  Hello. I'm new to this forum. I just got the storm. I used to have the palm tx. When I open the bberry Desktop Manager and click on the device switch Wizard to synchronize my info from the Palm to the storm Office Manager, opens the window of the migration wizard. When I click Next, the window becomes "select desktop organizer", where I can choose the software to import from. But the options are not underlined, so I can't select the option of palm treo/Organizer. What's wrong?

  I know I have the Palm TX not the Treo, but I just want to download it from the desktop organizer that is the same for both. Both my Palm and the storm are connected to the computer and I have Windows XP Home Edition. My Palm Desktop Organizer is version 4.2, which is not on the list of the bberry Manager compatibility, but it is a later version, that shouldn't be a problem. Should I get a Treo (temporarily), synchronize it with my computer and then try to transfer the files to the storm? Or is the problem something else? Thank you.

• Update blackBerry 9700 Smartphones softwarete

  This morning I was invited by Desktop Manager to upgrade the software on my Bold 9700.  It has now worked for more than two hours.  Messages screen on "loading of the system software.  At this point, the phone shows no signs of life and the progress bar has failed, not more than two hours.

  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  Once your BlackBerry is running on the new operating system, run the Desktop software > device > restore.

  I guess it's the last resort for finding a solution to my problem. I hope I'm not repeating a topic previously started by someone else.

  In any case this morning received a notification that there is finally an update to OS 4.6. * lot of 5 BONES 1682. Updated the BB Desktop Manager, supported the phone it is autonomous and has started the upgrade.

  Subsequently, I basically ran a main problem, even if all my emails have been restored, it seems, some mailboxes are not visible in the traditional sense of the term, (I took the part of menu "Show all", looked through all the folders, etc.). But they all have is E-mail 2 mailboxes that contain some unsent emails from months back. If I look in the menuish 'messages' thing (home screen, displays all the messages in all mailboxes) emails are all there, Ditto for the '-> options' ' status-> "sizes of database"->"messages".
  I know this is a complicated explanation, sorry.

  The most visible example:

  I have 5 setting up email on the phone. 2 on gmail, personal accommodation 2 and 1 from blackberry.com

  As far as it goes for personal accounts and blackberry, all there is, nothing 'missing', but I can't say the same for the gmail those.

  If I choose the menu "filter"-> check the box of "AllMail", then I get to see everything, but only until I leave the screen and everything must be redone.

  Eh_bien it seems that I have found the problem and resolved, although I can't be sure if cela an acceptable or official, but it works and im fine with it.)

  There seems to be confilict with enhanced gmail plugin and OS 5, which results in the change of filter, so basically the best way is to remove the plugin via BBSAK:

  Use BBSAK and delete the following three files of COD:

  net_rim_bb_gmail. COD
  net_rim_bb_gmail_resource__en. COD
  net_rim_bb_gmail_help_en. COD

  You use the device, it could be normal. And there are dozens of other factors, including what applications are running in the background (browser, maps, etc.).

  It will be quite difficult to answer your question without knowing the specific applications which you are curious...

  However, it is actually the developers to decide if and when to get out an application for a specific model of BB. Some developers do not want to and keep their market limited to a subset of devices of BB. Other developers quickly release versions for each new model BB coming out. But it's the developers who are in control... I suggest you contact the developers of some apps you are interested in to find out their plans.
