BlackBerry App World Smartphones gives files of the application of the old version of whatsapp
Hello
First of all...
- Your carrier-> OF Vodafone
- Your BlackBerry model-> Bold 9700
- Your BlackBerry OS (can be found in the Options->)-> v5.0.0.545
- Version of App World (can be found by going to Options-> Advanced-> Applications)-> v1.1.0.33
- If you have BIS or BES (personal use or business use)-> BES
I bought Whatsapp about 2-3 weeks - at this point Whatsapp performed v2.1.
A few days ago I resetet my camera (there were some problems with the connection to BIS) and wanted to install whatsapp worldwide app - download worked and everything has been installed very well - but app world give me the files to v2.0.1 but claims to be v2.2 - so whatsapp couldn't initial step correctly and does not work!
I've already sent with the support of whatsapp and they say that it is a bug in the app world.
Support WhatsApp: "Yes, it's a bug of AppWorld. He gives files of the application of the old version, but claims that it is the new version. »
also take a look at these screenshots:

Someone has any idea how to fix this?
thanking you in anticipation
Everyone - please read my response above. There is no formal AppWorld press here - zero. If the developer of the app wants to have users try to introduce the issue with RIM, only channel users to do so is through your official support - which is provided by your operator.
Good luck.

BlackBerry App Connect to Dropbox - files appear
Hi, my file manager doesn't show Dropbox-files and folders anymore. He broke a couple of days. Connect to Dropbox App shows all the information on the right, but I can't access files or records - the screen is just blank, just as my selection is empty.
I have already tried:
- restart of the deivce
- Loggin in and out of Dropbox
- uninstalling and reinstalling connect to Dropbox
- delete recently created files
FYI: Connecting to OneDrive-App works without problem and shows all the files in the finder.
I just wanted to confirm that this problem has been solved - thanks for reaching out to this topic

Where's bar and apk files cached on the device once downloaded? I looked through several folders on the file system but can't seem to find them.
Hi @SHOengine
Applications installed via BlackBerry World, or the shop Amazon can be "extracted" as a BAR or APK file. Sorry!

BlackBerry Smartphones Z10 does not load the apk files
Hello
I bought a brand new phone BalckBerry Z10/STL100-3 (OS 10.3.2.2154) a week ago. But from the beginning I was not able to run any apk file. Preinstalled same amazon store or amazon did not work (green bar chimneys around 80%)! I tried just about everything suggested in this forum, but it still does not work. Yesterday, I updated my phone (OS 10.3.2.2836) cannot be loaded using Sechesi, always the apk files (green bar fireplace 80%).
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Thank you
OK, I decided to make security and the problem disappeared... it's very cool that you do a security wipe on all new device to make it work!

BlackBerry App Facebook app problems
Please I need help with my facebook app. He won't open and I can't even install it it BlackBerry world either. What would I do?
Topic title edited to reflect the new topic.
Wink is primarily intended to connect to the Google game shop, so you can install the apk android on your Blackberry device files, so we do not use wink in this case...
You'd have to use is Knowyou, if you are not familiar with its use, check:
In fact, you can skip the part about choosing which of the alternatives to use for this process, since we don't ask knowyou to extract the source files online.
Here's what you need to do:
Download the bar to produce for the purposes of facebook from your computer, using the link below:
Download Knowyou on your computer (download link)
https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases/download/2.0.0RC/Sachesi2-RC-Windows.zip
Set your system offline (it disconnect from internet)
Connect your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer (if the Blackberry link auto lance, close it)
Launch Knowyou (if you have a password set for your device, would be asked and you will need to enter it and knowyou should automatically detect your device type.)
Click the install from knowyou interface, click on setup file and place where the .bar facebook has been saved, click it and let knowyou do its magic (you can also use drag and drop once you are on the installation interface)
Once Knowyou is done, you can restart your device (although not a necessity, but I prefer it like that).
If there are errors, please come back to the forum and let us know... If it's not and you get successfully return facebook app, also share your experience.
Once installed and your device has been restarted/rebooted, you can rely on Blackberry App World to check an update of the facebook app
Hope this helps

Creating a Bar Code Android instead of APK file
Is it possible that you can create a file "Code Android" bar and not the APK?
When I renamed the zip file bar and open archive, I see that the conversion is essentially just a MANIFEST file next to the original apk file. But I'm looking for a file bar that looks like a normal bar without a trace of the apk. Is it possible to do such a conversion?
The main cause of this limitation is the fact that there are no Android runtime in the scope of work of a BlackBerry Smartphone. So even if you can install the application, it would not be able to run. That's why BES prevents the installation of Android applications.
To install in the scope of work, the application must be a native application of Cascades of BlackBerry or application of Cordova. If your APK was built using Cordoba you could recompile it in a BAR not Android file. If the application is pure Java Android, should be re-written or installed in the personal area.

Distribute an application outside of BlackBerry App World
Hi people,
I have a BlackBerry 10 app I want to distribute to people until it's available on BlackBerry App World. Is this possible to do? If so, how are you going to do? What is also simple to send the file from the bar, or what I need to do something more involved?
Thank you
John
Hello! You can send the BAR + debug the token, but the debugging token will expire in a month and the BAR will stop working.
Another option is sending a signed BAR but you will not be able to control its further distribution.

WebWorks app not to recognize the plugin for Blackberry app
Hello! I'm portage a webapp Android to WebWorks. My Android application using Phonegap, so when I discovered the new WebWorks used to, it was a great relief. But the problem came when I tried to use the BlackBerry push service, because demand for some strange reason does not recognize the plugins I have installed through the console, just like the documentation says http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/apis/beta/blackberry.app.html.
Since then I have removed everything that belonged to the push service and I installed the com.blackberry.app plugin to test the ways that they are supposed to work. It debugged in the Web Inspector and I have this message.
ReferenceError: Can't find variable: blackberry
This error came from this line in my code:
Console.log ("the State of the screen is:" + blackberry.app.windowState);
In my config.xml file, I have the line:
I am new to this platform and I don't know if the plugins should be called somewhere in the html file or the js to make it work. Or is there something else wrong on how I use the plugins?
BTW: my application uses the last cordova because I developed since the SDK WebWorks 2.0.0.54, but my app Android used Cordova 2.0.0 and this library is called in the html code. So, when I tried to change the cordova for the last file, the application didn't work, so I left there where he was.
In the standard application of Cordova, the application calls app.initialize as follows (additional code left to show the implementation of the call and the scripts required):
