  (I'm a noob to developing applications for the blackberry)

  I don't know why the HelloWorld application in the tutorial of does not appear in my Simulator. Boots Simulator, but there is nothing under the "Downloads" button in the menu, and the app does not appear under "Applications". I use the plugin Eclipse and the JDE component package version 4.7. I also went in the Blackberry project-> tab Application properties, and made sure "module system" is unchecked. I also tried to check "Auto-run at startup", but nothing happened when the Simulator began...

  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

  You don't need to check "auto-run at startup.

  Just make sure that your project is active.

  (a) project-> the value of active projects...-> check your project

  (b) or of the project properties-> general tab-> check "always do active project.

  Now, after the accounts, you should see your app in the download directory.

• Downloaded from iTunes app does not appear on the iphone or iPad

  Download an app from iTunes.  It appears on my Apps for iPhone and iPad, but does not appear on the device.  I have devices connected to the computer via usb, but nothing works.  Any ideas?

  My z10 camera app does not open when I try, it displays as a blank page with a camera icon and then returns to the main menu. I tried a couple of times but no joy battery pull. Any ideas anyone?

  lol, not a trick question... you can access the video camera separately from the Video folder.

  If a battery pull reboot is not to do, you head back to the retailer.

• BlackBerry Q10 connection screen does not appear

  I have a Q10 and I can not log on screen to display.  When I click on the high background to unlock the screen, the screen came as usual, but in the upper part, the media volume is displayed. When I go to swipe to get the log to the screen the screen cleared all my alerts, but the login screen does not appear (although the display of the media volume is still there).  I plugged it in to see if that would do anything and now see a message that says "charging your battery more quickly, use the charger supplied with this device" but I was.  Any ideas?

  Click the green phone button, then click on the button to the left of the trackball and go to options.  There is a general opions here.  Try changing auto answer calls forever.

• I cannot import video from iPhoto to iMovie because the app does not appear under 'movies '.

  OK, so I'm trying to download a video of 4 min 26 s (739 MB 1920 x 1080 29,96 fps H.264) in iMovie & iMovie does not recognize my Nikon D800 as being connected, so I uploaded the video to my iPhoto.  My original iPhoto has been deleted because it was corrupted and the peeps on the Apple Store deleted and created a new.  Now when I go in iMovie, I click on "Import" and then I click 'Movies' and in the window, all I can choose is iMovie, a directory of blue movies, PhotoBooth, & iTunes. Help! I just eventually want to download YouTube : (o)

  In the screenshot you posted, you should see iPhoto in the list between films and photo booth. Also movies iPhoto should appear in the browser. Since you see nor it seems than iMovie and the operating system cannot see iPhoto library. If you click the photo button in the toolbar you see your photos in iPhoto? If this is not the case, this would confirm a problem with iPhoto library. Try opening iPhoto, hold down the command and option keys. In the first aid window trying to repair the library and perhaps rebuild if repair does not fix your problem.

• Newsstand app does not appear folios in China

  This week, I published a new folio in one of our applications. It displays fine for me (in the United Kingdom) and American colleagues, but some people in China are reporting no folios charge in the Library Viewer.

  The app and folio are free, I have not specified all differences for the application in different countries. Public, free of charge, all fine.

• Messages app does not appear new conversations

  Recently in a vain attempt to get Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to open files without complaining about permissions I tried to reset the permissions and a few other terminal-y things that I probably shouldn't have been messing around with.

  After rebooting my computer, my Messages App went to the default view (no overview of conversation, abbreviation for each person within a circle) and was empty of all conversations. When a new iMessage would come to my phone, it wouldn't show up on the list. However once I started a new conversation with someone in the Messages application the conversation would be there (as well as messages between me and this person). When a conversation is present and the person texts/iMessages new messages appear and I am notified.

  Any ideas?

  Was it the orange 'Help' brand test or the green "Resolved" objects of this thread Reset Home Folder permissions and ACLs error ?

  It is best to run the first test to see if you need the other.

  Permissions repair which was never touched disk utility via the home folder in any way.

  If you used a third-party app or utility, that it would be preferable, tell someone that used as the same may be able to comment on and areas it covers.

  It would seem that you have "lost" some of the connection to the chat.db items in ~/Library/Messages

  A few details about what was changed can also help us to help you.

  I would be tempted to use a Time Machine backup to the point before you start playing with things.

  This mold lose more recent iMessages that have been sent from.

• "Facer" app does not appear in the dials

  Hope this will be a kosher question...

  I can't get the 3rd party app Facer to show up as a choice of dials on my 360.

  I went through several tutorials, but no dice.

  Any who operate & can share how?

  Thus, the question I had was Facer not showing as a choice for a face of the watch on my 360.

  I fussed a bit more (stumble on the same rocks) and finally I just uninstalled Facer, cleaned my phone files, shut down, rebooted and reinstalled Facer.

  Bingo! Fabien is presented as a watch. Everything goes well with the world.

  I think Fabien has been installed before bringing Android and Moto Connect. Maybe it was the cause.

• Published app does not appear on the App World

  Hi, I have 3 books of stories published last week, but has not been shown to App World on my Playbook in its category.

  I see all three if I navigate to the category of eBook on app world with my playbook. Can just take more time to update in different areas.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook for Smartphones BlackBerry app does not!

  So, I've recently updated the v.3.2.0.12 facebook app on my BB Curve 8520 and I seem to have some difficulties to use it since then. It worked absolutely fine this morning, but now when I open the application, it takes too much time to load the news feed and will charge no wall of my friend or mine at all. Right opening chat. He keeps a new attempt, but it never opens!
  Any immediate help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • First thing... Go to the Facebook for BlackBerry > Options > disconnect. Close the application and reopen and reconnect.
  • Second, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
