  I am fairly confident some applications don't exist that offer this feature, but someone else may be aware of that I'm famialr with. In the event that you can't find an app that help please be assured that we are looking to increase this limit in the subsequent updates to BlackBerry 10. Thank you!

  I have a missed call sign, and it has not disappeared after about 4 days. I tried out my battery and removing all my call log... help! It is so annoying to see this symbol here!

  You take the battery without turning it off? It must be turned on when you do the battery pull.

  Otherwise, you will need to clean your appliance.

  This isn't really a problem if you are connected to a Blackberry Enterprise Server, because all will be synchronized back to the top wireless. But if it's your own personal phone, the back only to keep anything on this subject, is to do a backup/restore.

  This can be found on the program 'Desktop Manager', who was on a cd supplied with the product or can be downloaded again on the blackberry site.

  Once you have saved your information you can wipe it off.

  Options > security options > General settings > [press the menu option] select "wipe Handheld".

  Almost exactly 2 years from the date that I had my BlackBerry Curve 8300, my emails, call logs and messages from BlackBerry Messenger guard deleted without notice.  The BlackBerry then hold until I have the battery and I connect again. Can anyone help me idetify the problem and how can I solve this problem?

• Smartphones blackBerry call log shows an incorrect number

  You just bought a Blackberry 8330 with Verizon service, and in the call log, it shows the wrong telephone number in the section "my number."  How can I change it to the correct number for my device?  I already tried the update of the program through Verizon * 228 update with no luck.  Help would be appreciated.

  Thanks for the comments, it has helped point me in the right direction.  I use Verizon's network, so my phone doesn't have a sim card. but, I realized that my phone was not updated correctly after reading your message.  Verizon called and they helped me to go to the program page and manually correct the problem.  Appreciate the info.

  I left my brother borrow my 8130 for a day and since then my call logs, messages and emails are all deleted automatically once per day.  I don't know how to disable this feature.  Any suggestions?

  I had this problem before and it was tied to memory.  I bought a memory card and transferred all my photos, ringtones, etc. on it.   You can close all your open conversations, maybe clean up some of the elements in your personal dictionary as well. I run also the cleaner memory everyday and that seems to help.

  Yes, it's normal, and you cannot increase this call log view... at this place.

  For more historical log, look at Messages > view folder > phone call logs

  Hello! I'll jump in here (and Xandrex will correct me if I'm wrong )

  To log calls in Messages, go to the phone application (press the Green key). Above (under "My Number") will be three icons... click on the middle. Then press the BB button (the button just to the right of the green phone button), then select 'Options '. Click on "Call Logging". Click on the option button "all calls". Exit and save.

  Now, to save messages in the Messages, go to messages (a list of messages showing). Press the BB button and select 'Options '. Click on 'General Options' and then scroll down... change this setting (keep Messages) to "Forever". Exit and save.

  I just changed a Pearl in a turn and I miis the icon on the home screen of the call log found on the Pearl.  does anyone know if the call log icon can be installed on the Tower?

  Could be in any folder, configuration, applications, etc.

  Or just press the GREEN line to access your call log and save icons for those that are necessary.

  Please help - my Blackberry 8110 suddenly stopped to save the calls and SMS logs. When I ring someone, their name appears in the log of calls for about 10 seconds and goes away, even with text messages. I think that I have implemented correctly in the options.

  You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
  4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card

  I have the curve 8900 with t-mobile and I'm having the same exact problem that this user has:

  My call log lists only the missed calls (dialed or received calls). He did this for a few weeks now. I received the error message 'exception: java.lang.NullPointerException eception' a few times as well.

  I checked all available software updates and I use the most recent software.

  I fixed it!  It took about an hour on the phone with t-mobile, but we thought about it.   For me, the problem was probably a few information corrupted in my call history.  I need to delete all the call history, and then it was fine.  To do this, you need to install the blackberry desktop manager on your computer if you have not already (be it from the cd that came with the phone or the Web site).  Open Fund Manager and connect the blackberry to the computer.  Select the backup and restore option.  Then, select the advanced option.  On the right side of the screen, there will be a list of all the features of the phone.  Scroll to phone call logs.  It lists the number of records in the phone.  All I had to do was remove all records from phone call and it was corrected.  Now my lists of newspaper calls dialed, received and missed and I no longer get the error message.  I hope it helps you too!

  It seems to be a feature missing from the call log.

  You can send SMS, Email, MMS to people registered in the call log.

  in earlier systems of BB, when you open your call log by pressing the green call button, you get a list of all the people who called you, missed calls, dialed calls. Whenever you move the bar on one of these numbers and then click on the Logo of BB button (menu access), you get a lot of different options, including sending SMS or MMS.

  With the new OS 10, this feature is not there. I confronted HELL trying SMS from someone who had just called me.

  I received a phone call from a unknown mobile one of the sellers phone number and he asked me to send him a number by SMS. After getting the number for him, I went in the call log (since it is not stored in my contacts) and tried to view the search options for SMS options. He wasn't there! I had to add the provider contacts and from there, I could see all the options.

  Is it possible to do it from the call log?

  Never tried it before, but he managed to escape earlier. This isn't a fault with Blackberry, here's how:

  1. on the call log, touch the number and hold the key until the menu appears on the right side

  2. click the icon "View details call" high

  3. on the bottom, you can type 'Text' to send an SMS to this number
