  Help, please! My curve has frozen on me. It started today, there is an incoming call and it won't let me answer, I kept the same keys and it wouldn't work, as it froze completely! I tried to take the battery several times today, I connected with the wall charger, I let him ask without battery for 2 hours and tried, nothing, then I let him sit there for an hour to see if it was just slow in start-up and NOTHING.   I left my (frozen) on blackberry with battery all nite and plugged the power cord... and low and behold... Finally activated... I was awakened by my alarm on my blackberry... now its place and run... yay!

  I have recently spent over my 8800 to my new 8900 Curve - I like the 8900 but I miss the call log icon and the call log in general - my options are set for call logging however call logs are mingled with my e-mail as such messages is hard to follow - 0-0 while my 8800 was a separate call log - with an icon on my desktop that makes it very easy to see the missed calls and so on.   If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  The main Messages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date

  Hello the BB community, I am new here and I just wanted to correct a problem with my blackberry.

  Well when I started to connect my blackberry to load (I have a usb to wall adapter charger), the battery percentage would not rise. Thus, after removing the battery and put it in the creeped out slowly on its way to 80% battery power and no more would go high, no matter how long I left it to charge.  Same problem when I tried to charge it via the USB port connected to a PC.

  To try to solve my problem, I bought a new battery.  At first I thought it was the solution because the battery has been charging at a normal speed and don't punish me out constantly.  However, even once, I noticed that, after a night of load, the power would NOT higher than 80%.

  I tried all tricks, even reset my blackberry and re-installed the software. However nothing will leave power rise above 80%...

  Help, please!

• BlackBerry Curve 8300 Smartphones - various defects

  I have a Curve 8300 Smartphone, there are several flaws with this device they are;

  When you turn on the hold switch, that the unit will not charge, it produces just a static white screen at every opportunity. I have to restart it by simultaneously pressing the alt-right shift and delete keys it produces a green screen with a hourglass distorted.

  When the device is rebooted which takes about 2-3 minutes, I have a green and yellow tint to the screen with the selection of icons that are available be used. However when using the trackball to select a blue icon bars displayed on the screen with a duplicate of the icon I have chosen.

  Once the icon is selected and the trackball is pressed then menu appropriate appears, I can scroll vertically to select the part of the menu that I need, while doing what I can get 3-4 blue bars appearing and moving at the same time, it is impossible to select and activate the part of the menu I chose virtully.

  After taking all the precautions I can think to install Windows 7 on my wifes laptop. Drive recovery system, backups (2 DVDs) and an image I did more than 6 DVD.

  I thought why not only reduce the Vista Partition, install Windows 7 in the created partition and run Windows 7 to see if it will work on the laptop (gives me time to straighten out things so that my wife can always use).   Of course, you can install Windows 7 and do a system to dual-boot with Windows Vista... Why not? ;)

  As you have already said if Windows 7 works well on your laptop (I put t know which model you have exactly) you can remove Vista and use the old partition to store data or to include a new in the Windows 7 partition.

  The hidden partition do you mean isn't the Toshiba recovery partition! It is a feature of Windows.

• Get Win8.1 Pro with Media Center in Dual Boot with Windows 10 Pro

  In December of 2012, I bought a new Dell XPS12 running 64-bit window 8.  Later, I bought "Win8 Media Center Pro Pack" for Windows Media Center.  Later, I upgraded to Windows 10 pro and lost Media Center.  Given that I had a legitimate copy of Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, I would like to re - install in a separate partition.  I was able to clean install Win8.1 in this partition using a flash drive and the MediaCreationTool.  He did not like my product key OEM Win8, and he didn't like my WMC Pro Pack upgrade key, so I installed using a KMS key that is freely available online.

  Clearly, I go about it the wrong way.  I'm happy to start again and install Win8, then upgrade with my pro WMC pack key, but I do not know the mystical incantations necessary to get there.  Since I had legitimately a Pro Win8.1 with instance of Media Center, and I my self Win10 product key after upgrade, I can't imagine that such a dual-boot configuration would be illegal.  Can someone please help?
