Obtaining of D3D compiler 43.la dll missing when running need for speed

Original title: D3DCOMPILER_43.dll

I have 8 Enterprise Edition 64-bit running windows and when I try to run the need for speed, it says missing d3dcompiler_43.dll. What should I do?

Hello

Have you tried to install the DirectX Runtime June 2010, which is an optional update that needs a lot of games.

Even my Lexmark printer requires... I'll include a link to the full installer...

I'm not sure, this is a valid mechanism for the Enterprise version, but it should be 100%.

This is a package to free extraction. It will extract after double-clicking it so be sure to note the location where extracted you\it.

Open the folder, and then double-click DXSETUP.

  • Nilvaiu.dll missing when deploying VI

    Hello

I have a problem when you try to deploy a .VI on my cRIO 9082.

The .VI is to control the speed of a DC (KOLLMORGEN) motor with a servo-drive.

However, whenever I try to deploy the VI I get the following error message:

LabVIEW: Unable to load the shared library nilvaiu (see attached image).

The dll is present in the tree (see picture) and I just reinstalled the DAQmx 9.x.x.

Anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem?

    Help is very appreciated.

    Best regards

    Jakob.

    Hi Jakob.

You cannot use DAQmx on a system of RIO - it's two different drivers for two different platforms.

To clearify what means DAQmx support in real time. You can have a normal desktop computer, running the LabVIEW RT operating system and have a PCI DAQmx card in this computer. In this case, you can use the DAQmx driver in an application of the RT.

9082 a cRIO either run a RT OS or OS Win. I assume you are using the RT operating system. The BONES of RT on the 9082 is Phar Lap ETS, which means you can run .dll files, in the same way, you can run them in Windows. However, it is important to note that while both windows and PharLap recognize .dll file extension, DLLs that are running on Windows may not work properly on the PharLap targets. To understant the complexity of the present, you can read this KB:

How can I check that my DLL is executable in LabVIEW Real-time NI PharLap ETS?

So, that in mind and without knowing your application, you cannot deploy your application for the cRIO. What is the reason for the use of DAQmx code? Which module you want to interface with - maybe we can replace just the API, while you use the pilot of RIO instead?

    Hello

Windows 7 / 2008 R2 doesn't use NTBackup.exe to back up files. Instead, it uses SDCLT.exe (in %SystemRoot%\System32\sdclt.exe( ), which depends on the shadow copy volume service.

If you do not want to install even when NTBackup.exe , you will need the files that you can get your Windows XP CD nt5backup.cab Cabinet or you can download them from the internet, then copy the files into a new folder (for example, copy the following files to %ProgramFiles%\NTBackup)
    • Ntbackup.exe
    • Ntmsapi.dll
    • Vssapi.dll
    • Ntbackup.chm
    • Ntbackup.hlp
If you have an existing installation of copy of Windows XP is already installed, please copy the following copy in a new folder (for example, copy the following files to %ProgramFiles%\NTBackup)
    • %SystemRoot%\System32\Ntbackup.exe
    • %SystemRoot%\System32\Ntmsapi.dll
    • %SystemRoot%\System32\Vssapi.dll
    • %SystemRoot%\Help\Ntbackup.chm
    • %SystemRoot%\Help\Ntbackup.hlp
NOTE: You may receive the following error when you start NTBackup.exe on Windows 7. This error can be ignored

The backup utility cannot connect to the removable storage service. This service is required for use with tape drives and other backup devices.

Please, get out and start the RSM service using the Services management console system function.

Usually, settings files are maintained by DAC, as being run/debug of mapping her need to have a settings file in the folder SrcFiles of Informatica.

If you need to copy the file in the CAD to Informatica file folder and rename the file to corresponding with the name of the workflow.

  • Uninitialized shift registers compiled in a DLL retain their values?

    Hello

I'm using Labview 8.6 to create a DLL and then I create another Labview program that will call this DLL.  Within the DLL is a function called Untitled2 which is your basic uninitialized shift register.  It has a digital input which can be put in the shift register, and then I can read the number back.  After that I build it to the DLL and call it from another Labview program looks like registry of offset values are lost.  So, my question is whether Labview DLLs that contain uninitialized shift registers to the as registers of the SHIFT to retain their values?  I enclose a copy of Untitled2.vi so you can see my simple test vi.

Does anyone know also - all good articles on the creation of DLLs in Labview?

    Thank you!

    Steve

The short answer is the fastest is to call a VI a VI with a direct appeal. Any other way to do so is somehow above enveloping mechanism which means added. If you want to hear some details, you can read on.

When a caller VI loads, it is "patched" with its subVIs. This means that he holds on a pointer in which he can use to call effectively than VI. The appellant also assigns a list of parameters for each call. When the call runs, the only thing the caller must do is to fill this list of parameters with the locations of their data and pass the pointer to this table in the code of the Subvi.

When you call a VI that is embedded in a DLL, the call library node must all first set all parameters in the form provided by the convention call DLL. This is different from the approach of list for the parameter of LabVIEW and usually is to set each parameter on the processor stack. The function exported in the LabVIEW built DLL, must first obtain a connection to the VI to run. She accomplishes this by obtaining a reference VI of a cache of VI references created in the loaded DLL. Each VI reference has a list of parameters that should be filled in the settings for this call. It can then call the code. When the code is complete, there may be additional work to put the outputs in the form provided by the appellant. The VI reference must then be returned to the cache.

So there will be several manipulation of the parameters in the call to a DLL and a couple of access to a cache may cause overhead and additional jitter include parallel calls. Even a call via a strict VI one reference would be faster. With whom you are in direct control of the VI reference so cache intervenes and the call puts the parameters directly from a list of parameters, the Subvi expected so there is less handling it.

There are also several other limitations introduced by calling a VI in a DLL.

    1. If you are reporting to the DLL that contains the handles, then you must make sure that the DLL is called from never screw in the same version of LabVIEW. If you do not do this, then you will be allocated in a nursery memory to another instance handles and LabVIEW will stop.
    2. If you do not pass data containing the handles, then LabVIEW must make copies strings or arrays that are passed to the DLL, hindering more performance.
    3. Préallouée reentrancy is not available through dll. It's the kind of reentrancy, which allows the slot - VI maintain state specific to each caller. When it is called by a DLL, we have no idea where we are called to so we cannot give you a specific instance. Each VI reference in cache will be a specific instance of the VI but not sure which one you will get. Essentially, this makes it reentrant in dll screws act as shared reentrant. (Which could explain why it does not seem like your uninitialized register shift worked.)

I hope this doesn't scare you use LabVIEW to create the dll. When you need to communicate to other software, this is the way to go and all of these steps are necessary to cross this limit. But if you're already in LabVIEW is not an ideal replacement to directly call a Subvi.

  • my laptop repeat myself that ststring.dll is missing when I turn it on

    Hi gaynoredwards,

    1. what operating system is installed on your computer?

    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

The ststring.dll file is associated with the secure Dell Data Backup Local software.

You can set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists. It will start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs and helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • error message saying a .dll file is missing when I try to acess Mngr.vdmdbg task not found.

I have uninstalled or deleted my Windows XP Pro VDMDBG.dll because I received error messages after

I am now using the same IDE on this DIY PC like what I used to have XP Pro running. I ran an upgrade or r disc install to resign the drivers and at the same time you run some programs to uninstall some of the OLD drivers of the motherboard and temporary files, but I must have too deep because now, I have only this error message telling me that a .dll file is missing when I try to acess Mngr.vdmdbg task was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Where can I go to download or difficulty this annoyance file or program? Thankx again! -Al

    Sounds messy.

If you see a message like this:

Taskmgr.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because VDMDBG.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
    http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you will not see the extension of file (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (for example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called vdmdbg when the name of the file should really be called vdmdbg.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

PS Microsoft support engineers - "try running sfc/scannow and check if it helps" will not replace the missing vdmdbg.dll file because it is not what sfc/scannow does.  If you want to see an experiment to prove that, let me know because I have a ready-made.
