    Hello

You will need to back up all your personal files, etc. before executing a factory reset - an option to do this is to use the facilities available in Windows 7, as described in the guide on the link below.

  • K1 "unrecoverable error bootloader (0 x 19000008) after the factory restore".

Having some problems with my K1 for a while & finally decided to do a factory restore and start over. Fact the factory restore (exactly like I had to with my android phone a couple of weeks) & now he jumped to the top with

    «Erase Userdata...»

    Boot loader fatal error (0 x 19000008)

He sat there for a while. I tried to hold the power button, but nothing. This tablet has been updated to the latest version, it has not rooted or anything else. Just completely factory & updated. The problems I had when I decided to restore it was running mostly just super slow. Took forever to get the apps to arrive on the screen & such things. Thought I just having too much junk previously installed on it, so I tried to restore it & start over. Bad idea! Any idea? My 2 weeks im slammed all day every day & cant slow to call assistance & wait always hold to try & fix it (assuming that they can even repair). Would be delighted to hear that its an easy fix but I'm sure used to be the case. I bought it back in November 2011, so its only 6 months old.

    Hi Javahead

How many times have you tried to restart since this error?

Recently, I did the same thing after that my front cam went wrong. I got the same error. But after a few reboots and maybe wait a few minutes before trying again. Finally, he went through the process and completed successfully.

I back up my files to an external hard drive using windows XP sp2. My pc crashed and re installed with Windows XP sp3. Now I can't find the backup on the system tools utility. How can I restore my backup files. Help, please.

    Hi PML.

Yes, I used the built in «Back to the top of the tool» Unfortunately I don't have the CD. My Netbook is a HP mini computer that comes with Windows XP home. Thank you for your help and I hope to hear from you again.

How do you reinstall Windows?  If you have used the HP Recovery system to recover from a hidden partition, backup should have been reinstalled.

I suggest you call HP support.

  • The factory restore setting once it has been formatted

    Hello

I had my HP Probook s 4530. It reinstalled and formatted by mistake. Now, I couldn't see the HP and HP tools recovery partitions while windows, connect. But when I try to reinstall Win 7 with a bootable DVD, it shows the mentioned hidden partitions. I tried to press fn + F11 buttons in the boot process, but nothing happened.

Question is: How can I restore to the factory using the HP Recovery and HP partitions tools setting?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    BRGDS,

I'm sorry, you know to be able to recovery your probook, you have 3 ways
    1. use the recovery partition "you said that it's empty now."
2 - using recovery discs "DVD I think that you do not have it also.
3 - using usb flash recovery "and I think that you do not have too.

so, how can restore you without recovering files

If you get these files from recovery to restore it

you have 4 ways to him and get these files

    1. you can see if you have a friend or a friend of your friend, has the same probook you have
and then, you can borrow his dvds or you can copy the recovery partition,

2 - you can go to any store that sell the same probook you have and ask him to copy this recovery partition and give him money

    3. you can order website hp recovery discs if you are from the U.S. and pay for it

4 - ask on the internet if someone can help you publish these files for recovery and so I think that there is any body upload 16 GB for you

I think these are all ways that you can get your recovered files
you all just need becomes this recovery files somehow and then it will be easy to restor it

If you do not have to use any of these ways
so you have the last option
You can download the same operating system that you had when you bought your probook, then install it using the serial number that you like sticker on the back of your probook and then download all the drivers and software from the hp Web site

That's all I know, but this is my first time to see a formatted partition is 100% free, there must be a few bytes for the system volume, try changing their letters to disk mangement right-click then choose change drive letter then add and then give each of them a letter as 'e '. ", h, I"
and you will find appear them in your windows, but I don't know how it's going to be a 100% free

    That's all
    I'm soory for English mistakes

  • At the end of the factory restore, but black screen after "Windows has set up the computer.

The model in question is VC863AA #UUW

I want to get back the computer to the factory condition, so I rebooted and you press F11. Everything went exactly like this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00814731#N72 (chapter "Start a restore from the hard drive and the computer is off")...

.. until step 10, which States:

"The computer restarts and continues in the installation of Windows. Complete the configuration screens and wait until the computer finishes the installation program. "Then turn off the computer, reconnect all devices and turn on the computer.

Yes, the computer restarts. She continues in the Windows installation (it says "medan windows konfigurerar datorn Vanta", which means roughly "Please wait while Windows configures the computer"). After that which was for about 5-10 minutes, the text disappears and the computer restarts by itself.

After that, he gives a normal load Windows Vista bar and after that black screen. It seems to be a little bit alive but jammed somehow. If I let it be for several hours, he goes to the standby mode. If I wake up, he still won't. I can plug a USB another keyboard and he will make some access to hard drive (load a driver probably). I can press the sleep button and it will go into sleep mode. But if I press the power button / stop briefly, it will NOT stop.

So finally, after several hours I forced to shut down (by pressing the power button / stop longer). When I start it, it goes back to behave as explained in the previous paragraph.

If I press F8 during startup and select Safe mode, it goes in safe mode and I get dialogue indicating in Finnish:

«Asenna Windows: Windows ei voi suorittaa vikasietotilassa asennusta.» See devam fenetresdans asennusta uudelleen tietokoneen kaynnistamalla. »

    Rough translation:

"Installation of Windows: Windows cannot complete installation in safe mode." "You can continue the installation by restarting the computer.

If I restart the computer, it goes back to the black screen after the windows loading bar.

This suggests that there is something in the installation of Windows who jams it.

I can install Windows Vista from a Vista DVD, but then I can't use the software included with the computer. (App States installation cannot install on a machine that is unauthorized, then of course they are looking for some OEM HP things.)

Any suggestions on how to fix jam that continues with installing Recovery Windows or how to install the software on a normal Vista would be very appreciated.

I solved the problem. Good thing I didn't order the restore disks, because that would not have solved the problem.

I decided to post it because I don't know there will be others who have HP Pavilion Elite m9754sc and will have to face this problem of a black screen after the restoration.

The fact is that the restore worked perfectly, but in this display card driver is buggy and it causes the screen to go black.

I thought that what I installed fresh Vista which worked until I installed the driver from the recovery partition display. I tried VGA, outputs HDMI and DVI on the factory installed GeForce GT220 and none worked.

A defective display driver should normally be no problem we could go in safe mode and fix it to the it. But as with the recovery goes to pre install state (ask what language to use etc.), safe mode does not work.

So the solution is to unlock the display of the motherboard connectors and remove the factory installed GeForce GT220. Once the recovery and installation of Windows is finished using the graphics card integrated motherboards, you can reconnect the GeForce GT220 and get a updated driver with safe mode.

  • HP G71-340US AC power not recognize, during the factory re-set the system restore

According to the guidelines of the object:

trying to do a complete system restore, and

"WARNING: your laptop is running on battery power."  Recovery Manager requires that your laptop is plugged into a power outlet. »

.. but charger is plugged.  Battery let racing down a little and is connected received the same error while he was actively charge batt.

    SUGESTIONS?

    Thank you.

I just fell on the same problem. This is what worked for me:

With the computer started and running, remove the battery. Leave the battery while performing the restore. If you put the battery in while the restore is in progress, it will be detected and return you to the same error "no AC power is connected' box.

It's a great feature and capability, if only it worked normally! I don't know if this is a BIOS or the battery, but apparently the software problem 'switch' that detects the power is not working properly.

  • Unable to sign on my MOTOBLUR account after the factory restore

After seeing that I wasn't getting updated and no could not remove all the accounts on my CLIQ, I did a factory restore and tried to sign in with my existing MOTOBLUR account. An error message pops up saying that the session has expired or the password is incorrect.

The password cannot be wrong, because I can access my account online. The message appears whenever I'm trying to connect. I use only a wifi connection.
    What should I do?

To sign in blur, you will need to use 3G or wifi. You said you use wifi, make sure that the wifi icon is on the notification bar. If this is not the case, press menu and you can set it here when you register in blur of installation. If you still can not sign trying to join a 3G area, and then try again. The time-out error is saying that you don't send fast enough information on the server of blur. Password error appears but is not always the problem. If you arrive at sign always used the password and then follow the instructions to reset, then try again. Make sure that you use an e-mail address that you will be able to receive mail from.

  • Failure of the factory restore?

I tried to do a factory restore on my HP Pavilion m8247c with windows vista, so I could start over and put a new operating system on it. After that the restoration was finished he started and I got an error message saying: Configuration system error. Saying that if I fix my PC does not work, then the message ended by saying "(Code Purple)". "  Someone knows how to fix this problem, so I can use my computer again?

    Hello

If you want to try to get Vista running, then try this:

With error code purple on the screen, press SHIFT + f10 (the shift key and press F10 (at the top of the keyboard) at the same time) to open a small screen called command prompt. (So you get a small black screen with white text that says something about your first Windows version and ways down a bit, you will see "C:\ > '.)   It is all ready before you start typing.)
Type the following line, just as you see here...

    Notepad C:\hp\bin\checkdmi\checkdmi.cmd

so it will look like this

    C:\>Notepad C:\hp\bin\checkdmi\checkdmi.cmd

    Press ENTER.

You will see the text of the file listed in a window using a simple text editor.
Go to the beginning of the text. Press ENTER to set a space. This type...

    Goto cleanup

Therefore, everything that comes after that, the first line looks like this...

    Goto cleanup

Save the Notepad file and exit and restart your PC. You're good to go.

Otherwise, install the new operating system itself, as has been pointed out by Frank.
