  • BlackBerry Storm smartphones - delete all entries in the calendar?

Is there a way to delete all the entries in the calendar?  I had the storm and had a sync error Outlook.  Since then, I had a lot of duplicates.  Is there a way to erase everything?

    Thank you!

If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

    4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

    5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Desktop Software deleted my Contacts

    Hello.. It's my first post

I just bought my Blackberry Tour (used) a few weeks ago and was not connected to my computer since I bought it, so I was a little surprised when I plugged it in today, set up updates of Blackberry Desktop Software and found that everything was completely erased.

I've tried everything. Connection without the battery did not work, and he just asked me to install updates everywhere. After reinstalling the operating system, everything is back to normal now, except for the fact that all my contacts have disappeared.

Given that I have does no backup for them earlier, is anyway I can get back them? This is my first Blackberry so I am a little confused.

    Thanks for any help!

    Yuck.

I always advise people to make a manual backup of their BlackBerry before ANY upgrade. Your carrier and notice of the RIM must be specific to this topic. The upgrade process "should" do its own backup at first, before the actual upgrade.

Check your PC, the search for any file ending with "*.ipd"... normally the backups are performed to your My Documents folder. Check and see if any IPD file is there, in particular dated today.

If so, you have a backup.

Then, using Desktop Manager > restore.

  • BlackBerry smartphones are missing all contacts

I don't know what happened, but when I click on my icon to contact any of my contacts are seen.   However, I can access my contacts when sending a SMS or E-mail.  As a result, the contacts must be in the 'phone' but I can view them.  Any help will be most appreciated. I have a Bold 9000 through AT & T.

Go to contacts > menu > filter, and make sure that ALL are unchecked.

  • Smartphones blackBerry how to copy all contacts from my phone to my SIM's memory at the same time?

I have a bb curve 8520... and I want to know how to select all the contacts in my repertoire at a time and copy them to my SIM card...

    Hello

You can't - it is at once, by design. In addition, it is not the best place to put your data... anything beyond name and phone number will be lost. Contacts with several phone numbers will be will roll up upward with multiple entries. According to what is your real goal, there is probably a much better way to accomplish what you need.

    Good luck!

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I delete all my contacts?

    Hi all!

I just want to know if it is possible to delete all my contacts (on the phone memory) only once, because delete them one by one is a little annoying...

    Thank you

    Yeap this is possible.

Connect your device with BlackBerry desktop manager. Go to the black and restore-> Advanced-> on the right Board, you will see all the databases of device. Select Address Book - All and click clear.

  • BlackBerry smartphone address book RSET wiped all contacts not only most unwanted

    I'm on a v5.0.0.681 running Curve 8520.

I recently added an account of electronic mail for my wife. Adding, authorized contacts to be synchronized in.  After deleting the e-mail account, his list of contacts remained (all1700 of them) flooding my contacts.

I read on these forums using RSET in address book Options would remove the list. He has done, but also deleted all my contacts.  There is no back upwards on a PC or on my SIM card.  I can't even add contacts manually because they refuse to register.

Any ideas on how to retrieve my contacts, or at least to allow them to be re - enter manually?

    Thank you

    I myself have solved now.

The problem was that making the RSETE he got rid of BB phone's address book. Actually, address book has not been installed.

    I followed http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB2...

I have my contacts back too, as they have been synced with my e mail contacts account.  I still have the issue of the removal of all the contacts in my e-mail account that I don't want on my phone.

BB should be better caveats on the use of the RSET

  • Lost Outlook Contacts on the computer - BB blackBerry smartphones can synchronize all back?

For reasons of computer problems, Dell had to take back me to factory settings - Ugh. When they backed up all my data they accidentally left to all my Contacts in Outlook. So, I lost all of them. Question... my BB Curve 8310 will put them all back in Outlook when I sync? I'm afraid to try it without asking. At least I have all my Contacts on my BB.

Of course, when you synchronize they update the other... but a list of Contact TOGETHER? More than 300 of them?

Thanks a lot to anyone who has any idea!

Yes, it will be. By default your synchronization parameter must be set to "bilateral" and handheld should update the PC Outlook file.

AS a measure of PRECAUTION, first of all, by using Desktop Manager, making a full backup of your BlackBerry (should you accidentally set your PC to "win" in any conflict", it"might"delete your contacts in Pocket). The backup will be a rescue rope.

You can check the C: > synchronization settings, I would recommend that you set to "notify me" of the any conflicts.

  • Deleted all :(blackBerry smartphones

I have a Blackberry Curve 8530.  Yesterday, I installed the BB desktop for the first time Manager and updated to the latest version of the OS.  I realized that I couldn't stand that the locking button side wasn't available, so I followed the instructions in this thread to downgrade the version of the OS.  So I uninstalled the latest desktop manager and installed the old one.  I then did the application loader thing and I guess only he reinstalled the old operating system.  But he deleted all my apps, contacts, texts, everything!  I could have sworn that he saved! I really need this feedback, what do I do?

I wrote the instructions to downgrade in that thread. Nowhere don't say anything about the decommissioning of the Desktop Manager software during this process - which is not necessary.

Anyway, your backup - search your hard drive for the whole PC "*.ipd", any file on the PC IPD, normally stored in the My Documents folder.
