BlackBerry Q5 unfortunately, Skype has ceased.

I searched the forums for "Unfortunately Skype" and nothing came. If I'm writing this in case someone is facing a similar problem in the future.

Skype keep you giving an error message that says: "Unfortunately, Skype stopped? Have you recently upgraded version of BB10? You probably just need to uninstall Skype, reboot and reinstall Skype. This should solve the problem.

1. press and hold the Skype icon until it vibrates with a small icon to the trash.

2. press on the icon to the trash.

3. press to confirm.

4 press and hold the button at the top of your phone until the countdown-to-powerdown. You should see an icon to restart at the bottom right of the screen.

5. press the reboot icon and wait for the phone to reboot.

6 reinstall Skype. It should work now. It could be a more recent version that you have to use, but it will give you a quick description to readapt.

  • Skype has problems and closes after opening.

When I click on Skype, I get connected. However, after a few seconds, the program will immediately say: "Skype has stopped working." and will have to close. I installed and re-installed Skype several times, without success. I tried to go to the Roaming folder to change the settings there. Did not work.

Now, I had this problem for about three days, and I'd like to get it fixed so I can start talking with friends again.

When I went to check my version of Internet Explorer, the program didn't open either. I got the idea to go down and uninstall IE 11, using IE 10 instead. Once I did, after I restarted my computer, Skype has started working again. I have not had problems, but if I do, I'll be sure to report it. Thanks for the suggestion to check my version.

    Hello.
That Skype has web API? I would use it on a website: to start a video call, to invite users to a video call and rely on-call time.

  • Skype has stopped working, several times a day, especially after the hibernation of the BONE

Until recently, I used Skype 6.0 without problem (the latest version had a bug that when headphones are plugged in, headphones and speakers were performing simultaneously), but I was required to go through an email about group conversations. Since then I am fumbling with Skype blocking ("Skype has stopped working") without any obvious reason (Skype in the background), especially once I wake Windows hibernation.

I use Windows 7 64-bit. The exception is 0xc0000005 and its offset 0x011666fe.

I naturally use the version 6.14, have a BONE perfectly patched with drivers up-to-date, tried several restarts but also uninstall and reinstall and do not use compatibility mode.

What exactly the offset of the exception said about the problems I encountered with?

Offset of the exception is the address in the memory of the computer where this 'exception' appeared. Exception 0xc0000005 code means "access violation". There are very little chance anyone will tell you exactly what is happening at that particular memory address. Generally, the debugging process is by trial and error. In some cases the question may be due to corruption of the Skype configuration files.

Looks like you have successfully updated from Windows XP to Vista, but have not updated device drivers. They are virtually all versions of Windows XP. Try firat to update drivers:

In addition, uninstall application ASUS Virtual Camera, this virtual video capture device we know conflict with Skype.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of IE9 Internet Explorer installed.

  • Update of Skype has made computer unusable: speechless:

Yes, you read the title correctly. Skype has REALLY done this time. After going to my computer, I got home today, turned on, and after startup, Skype said that it would not let me log in unless I have improved. So I was in the middle of the upgrade and all of a sudden my computer had BSOD. I tried to restart, but the connection to the page my computer BSOD WHAT would be too much. I tried to use safe mode and safe mode either A: stops at CLASSPNP.sys or b: loads and then the computer restarts. I am now looking for a message that says I have to insert my disc installation and repair my computer. Skype has messed up before, but not this bad. I reported this to Skype because it's a bug, and I would like to help with this question. Don't try to send me on another forum or tell me that's not for lack of Skype yet. If anyone has any suggestions or has had this problem happen to them, comment here so that we can try and find a solution to this.

I'm afraid that the results will change, that not all devices and drivers are loaded in safe mode.

However, when in safe mode try to uninstall Skype.
