BlackBerry smartphone app error 523 reset... Help, please!

I downloaded a theme through the net media with ATT on my Blackberry Pearl... Immediately after he prompted me to restart my phone to complete installation. When I turned on the phone back the hourglass has changed the pink theme that I had downloaded but I got the white screen of death saying APP Error 523 Reset... Resetting it does nothing or not taking the battery and the SIM card. I contacted ATT and they said that it is no longer in warranty and theres nothing they can do. I do everything with my phone and am lost without my Blackberry... Someone please help me understand what is happening. I noticed on a few discussions, he is told to restart through to my Office Manager Office Manager is not recognize my phone since the error...

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run, and then copy and paste the following line exactly (in other words, WITH the quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".

    (4) in the "Connection" drop-down, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed on your Blackberry. Press "Next" and "Finish." DO NOT disconnect anything and leave the process to completely finish (can take up to an hour).

    NOTE: If you see a list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you will need to download the Blackberry operating system for your particular carrier and device.

    I have a 8330 on Verizon and about 2 weeks, I received the "app error: 523. I tried to delete applications and restarting it but none of it worked because I couldn't get to the phone. I could not even save my data and contacts. I was forced to enter the password incorrectly and wipe everything that my phone is off. I then reinstalled the operating system and everything was fine. I recently started having my contacts and everything new, but when I rebooted, it tonight, I got message again. It's very frustrating! I don't have a lot of apps at all (Google maps, google talk, facebook, etc.) Can someone please give me an idea? Will I still have to deal with? Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Smartphone App Error 523 - RESET 8320 blackBerry curve - HELP!

    My wife and I have the Curve 8320.  We just loaded new firmware (4.5?).  Since the new software update reset back to the default theme, my wife has changed its theme innocently back to the surreal theme.  As the surreal theme loaded, this nasty, good for nothing, error pops up.  It is simply written on a screen that will not be extinguished: "App Error 523".  Then it will highlight "RESET" which is the only option given (even when the battery was fired).  I thought that his problem was unique until I reproduced the exact same error on my curve.  Now we're both without phones and the RESET option on this error has no value.  The two phone are completely disabled.  Any suggestions?

    Problem solved!  I downloaded the T-Mobile version of the upgrade (desktop and laptop) and everything is back to life.

    OK, I was looking for the forums and try the suggestions and I didn't chance... what I did my problem is compounded.

    One of my drivers brought me a phone this morning that says "App error 523" it is unclear what he does for her, I have recognized this fact and knew what he had to do... JL_Cmder wipe and reload the software. It does not recognize the device connected to my computer, Yes, I am using a USB port on the front, the same USB port I used on all my phones for several years now. I tried to paste this into the command run thingy (I don't know what it's called I'm really not all that sophisticated computer sorry) "c:\program files\common search motion\apploader\loader.exe" /nojvm and it recognize not a device either so it happened not the case. I tried a bunch of links to all these pages that you have, but nothing works. I saw something on the execution of an order on JL_Cmder but I can't figure out how, I clicked on #6 use order online because I thought that was that, but it came with a Notepad and I don't know what to do with it. Can someone help me please?

    OK, so it turned out to be the fault of fund managers... as soon as I uninstalled and reinstalled, I plugged the phone on him and he immediately offered to give me the software, I just reinstalled the operating system without a hitch. All phones are now detected and connected when plugged into my computer once again, although I spent a whole day of work aggravated that at least now I know for future reference when the Office Manager has another update.     I have a Bold 9900 IE error app 200 reset. Ive tried many things even through some of the forums to find a solution, but none of them helped me. Ive tried several different things to take out the battery, try to boot in safe mod (doesn't let me same), OS, downgrading the OS upgrade. Even to the point where I downloaded a program called 'BMSAK' to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS. After the failure of the phone, it displays an error 507 reload software, which means put an OS, so I did then the App error 200 has reappeared.

    I don't like what's happening to my phone data, I want to just my phone in working condition.

    I found a solution. It fixes several of my 9900 and a Curve 8300.  hope this helps someone.

    1. connect the BlackBerry to the computer via a USB cable.

    2. open the file loader.exe c:\program files\common files\ apploader

    3. click through the application loader to start the loading process (don't check no back ups)

    4. once the loading process reaches this step 3, remove the battery from the BlackBerry to force an error App error 507.

    After that the phone starts with a 507 error, follow the steps listed in:

    After perfmorming the factory reset when it starts up (loading bar) check for updates for your device VIA Online

    To do this, you need to reload the software of your device. You can do so by following the steps below.

    1. go on google on the field type in (blackberry software update (the name of your operator))

    2. download the software for the device

    3. install on your computer.

    4. Once installed plug in your device to the computer (without the battery)

    5. go to computer / driver C / program files (x 86) / Common files / research in motion / application loader / LOADER

    6. click on LOADER and follow the prompt.

    10 replace the battery
    and click on 'Retry '.

    11. it will take time, but continue to retry until that proceed it process.

    12. once the upload is complete, you can either receive "" is an unrecoverable error occurred, or software update success ""

    don't worry about the unrecoverable error, he says that but your device must be start the system.

    Constantly received instructions to update for the software device/requirements, even if the device had been updated before with these updates. Hoping to avoid continuous requests to update the phone software, I went through the update phone software and "out-clicked" list items that were clearly not necessary (Hebrew, Norweigan etc.) and then the phone went into the screen "App Error 200 (reset).  I looked through all the reset options, including the removal of the battery and Alt/Ctrl and the led, but nothing works.  I have applications loaded on the phone too (garmin, etc.), but am willing to perform a complete reset (other form) in order to get the phone after «App Error 200» display (reset)  Tried all activities with the Device Manager, but nothing helps, phone not connected but Device Manager tries to continue his search when the phone is on the screen "App Error 200 (reset)", it is just stuck there - help!
