  • BlackBerry smartphone accessing password Keeper data using office software

I recently had a pressure of crack in the LCD screen on my Curve 8310.

I need to access my passwords stored in password keeper, however given that the LCD is toast, impossible to read anything on the phone.

I'm waiting on a replacement LCD screen, but need to pass, as soon as POSSIBLE.

Are there programs to display the program on the pc?

I tried a solution that actuall work, so I thought I'd post in case anyone else has this same problem.

I had previously saved data for my Blackberry Curve 8310 using the office management software.

I downloaded a Simulatr for my Curve 8310 and installed the software.  I found the Simulator to the BlackBerry Smartphone simulators - URL

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

Once the program was installed, I ran the program, which shows a picture of the phone.

I started my office management software.

Now to back in the Smartphone Simulator

In the menu, I selected 'USB cable connected' which simulates the connection of the smartphone.

Once I did this, the office management software prompted me to create settings then phone again.

Once I implemented this new virtual phone, I restored my backup from the virtual desktop management software to the new.

I could then use the mouse to go to the password manager and open the program.  It prompted me for my password and all data appeared.

Hope this helps someone else.  Good luck.

  • Transfer of blackBerry Smartphones to password Keeper, Memo Pad, and Photos of Bold 9700 new curve 9320

    Hello

I don't have 'Outlook' put in place on my PC, or I really like.

Is it possible to synchronize the password Keeper, Memo pad and the Photo of my current Bold 9700 to my Blackberry Desktop Manager?

Then I can transfer these items to my curve 9320.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tamara133

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

KB23677  :  How to switch using BlackBerry Desktop Software devices.

Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones No. Password Keeper on 9100 - spent hours on forums, still can't make it work! Help!

Guys, before you ask me to search the forums etc, believe! that I have exhausted all possible ways to try to find out where the hell my password keeper went!

    Here we are, this is the situation;

    1. do you have an old Pearl 8110

    2. has bought a new Pearl 9100

    3. save the 8110

    4 restored everything on 9100

    5. when the password keeper? He isn't here!

    So what I did next?

    1 factory reset/wipe - not yet there.

    2. download the OS6 on the site, and reloaded-still not here?

I used the application loader and I see in the application manager is electronic mail set up. All forums say I can select/deselect applications to load and unload, but I do not see the guardian of password anywhere.

Are there not just a simple binary or something I can download that I can then use DM to download on the 9100?

Someone there certainly knows what to do and get it working again?

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

    G

so I think that the operating system you have installed on your PC to 9100 is incomplete. I suggest you download it once more quite.
uninstall the earlier, install a new and at a time using loader.exe you will be able to choose financial dictionaries as well as applications including the password keeper.

In any case, you cannot use the ALX file for a specific model with another model.

  • My understanding blackBerry smartphones all password keeper is for

is the guardian of password for the ppl who uses the net to enter their websites faster and easier because some of the Web sites you need passwords for?

I added a website with my username and PW but when I connect to the site, it is always asking me my nick PW and user...

then, really, that I don't understand what is the guardian of password to use! I read some ppl Announces...

    PS I'm blonde lol lol

    Thank you!

Your understanding is incorrect. The password keeper function, it's that you don't have to keep those numbers and the password stored in an application that is not secure on your BB. You can store everything that you desire, even such as your number of credit card and other information related non - BB you want to be firmly maintained.

  • Smartphones blackBerry OS6 lack password keeper

could someone help me please? I had updated with last bundle n OS6 did too before backup upgrade. However, after the restoration of all that I just couldn't find the password keeper, to go Word, ppt go n games? Despite all the support forum, I am unable to restore the same, please help me to recover password keeper n other applications.

It's a shame, the guardian of password must be the best app I have and free too! I'm sorry, I can't you then, the only thing I can think of that might be interesting to try help is a downgrade or a security wipe, but I can't really say for sure if this will help you...
    Good luck anyway!

  • BlackBerry smartphones validate password, is no, still no email

I'm SO frustrated. For 2 years I received emails on my blackberry without problem. Yesterday, I stopped receiving them and received a message to validate the password of my email address. When I go to the Setup email, it shows my email address (which I can connect fine with my computer) and it is red and below says "invalid account. Please validate. "  Then when I go to add (i.e. the option below the directive "validate") and try to add my account with the same email address and password I've always had, he told me that my email address is already registered and won't let add me it.  I even went to advanced option and deleted my e-mail on the service folder and tried to add again and it's the same process as above. Help, please!

Hi all... Sorry that none of the volunteers noticed this thread... I hope this isn't too late...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... they are 100% responsible for all of your services and all your formal support, regardless of the root cause of the problem. They can escalate cases RIM that they cannot manage without charge to the end user. So, if you need to call them, don't let them you fob off... think of him that way... you pay for all the services and support, and they currently deliver.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password

I received a message on my BlackBerry that says (send messages to my e-mail address and changes in your personal data (for example, contacts or calendar) are not delivered to your BlackBerry. To resume the service of this e-mail account to your BlackBerry smartphone, validate your password)

The problem is I don't remember my password, can anyone help please :-) :-) :-)

We do not know your password for your e-mail account.

You can connect to your e-mail account on a PC and get a reminder sent to you. This isn't a function of BlackBerry, but from your e-mail server (hotmail, gmail, etc.).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password/BB protect restoration

    Hello

Not wishing to take my phone on hols with me that I put a password on it before I left and took note of it, just to be in the knowledge that it would be more safe in the unlikely case where was stolen recently.  On the way home, I entered what seems to me to be the password but I now attempt to input 9 and it still does not.  I made sure that I press the ALT key at the right time for the respective characters, but I fear that I'll end up having to go down the road to wipe it off because she still does not accept my password.

I have BB Protect installed, but my last backup was in February.  I think that the backups were not working because my contract has been terminated and now having subsequently bought a card SIM of Giffgaff my number is different (perhaps someone can confirm if this is likely to be the case).

Can someone please advise as to know if if I don't have to wipe the device, I will be able to restore the backup of the Feb, even if he did under a different mobile number - will be BB Protect care as it's always the same device with the same PIN?  I do somply follow the instructions here - Blackberry protect restore - KB25063?

    Thank you.

    You're welcome and good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, what will happen if I restore my OLD BB data in the new system of BB?

I'm planing to change my BB device, my BB Curve 9360 for BB Curve 9220.

My question is that if I backup that my old data from my Curve 9360 then restore it in the new one, BB Curve 9220 will I have my BB PIN remain the same as in my Curve 9360 ot I have to use a new one in the curve 9220?

Can I put the 9220 Curve with the latest OS from my BB Curve 9360?

Are there opportunities that I could use my old BB PIN in my BB Curve 9360 instead of the new?

Thank you: to vname in my Vns

If you bought a pin code customized for BBM you can keep that. However, the BlackBerry pin code does not change. There is a white label under the battery that has your PIN on it. No way to change that.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hey guys, quick question on restoration...

I currently have a blackberry pearl 8100 for tmobile. And I just bought a BB Curve 8320... that should happen some time next week... My question is... can I use my backups or present restorations on my bb curve? because I have a lot of text messages that I want to keep...

    Make selective backup described here:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=8100&view=by_date_ascending&message.i...

Back up only the information you need.

After that you can restore information from ipd file saved to your new device.
