Hello ~ I am the proud owner of a "BOLD" (my 4th BB) and was dismayed to see this morning to get a representative from customer service to AT & T that the footer above is "on the BlackBerry Server" and cannot be changed.  I've always been able to delete/customize the automatic footer, so this is a new...

What is the point of having a BB to work off-site, if automatic footer will announce to all your customers that you're not in your office?

Someone please tell me that they have managed to solve this problem... and tell me how!

Your representative was wrong (I know that NEVER happens!).

1. connect to your carrier's website you BIS. Carrier BIS connection sites are listed here:

OR you can connect from your BlackBerry to the icon "personal e-mail Configuration.

2. click on 'Edit' next to the email to which account you want to change (or remove) the signature.

3. where it says "signature", delete all the text if you don't want ANY signature, or change view you prefer instead of "sent from my BlackBerry... »

4. click on SAVE.

    I'll start with the positive. Function "Convert to Adobe PDF format" Adobe works wonders for HTML to PDF. In fact, even with all the embedded HTML 5 CSS, conversion perfectly renders the HTML code! I'm so impressed!

    Adobe automatically inserts a header and a footer. The header is not really a problem, but it would be nice to customize. This is the footer that really needs to change. The automatic footer is an unsightly long text that includes the path and the full name and data and the time of the conversion. Is it possible to customize and simply remove it when converting. It is a document of page 41, so I will not manually change the header and footer. Ideally, I would like Adobe to change the header/footer when converting... because I have to eventually automate the conversion and avoid any post-editing.

    The wizard provides only the UI to configure Acrobat itself. You're talking about the function is provided by the PDFMaker add-in.

    The preference is apparently (starting from a quick test) HKU\S-1-5-21-762979615-2031575299-929701000-51250\Software\Adobe\Acrobat\PDFMaker\10.0\Ou tlook\Synchronization\Outlook\Enabled: 0x00000000.

    You can deploy via GPO, using the function of register of the wizard, or any other method that you use to propagate the settings.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9900 just does not load

    I bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months and I never had problems charging my battery. But the other day, when I got home and charged, when I woke up, Led - the RED light flashes and custom light up. I used another charger (nine) but still the same. I tried to plug it into my laptop for charging, but still not good. BB office says this device was not connected (since obviously he doesn't have the power). I searched online and I tried the "kickstart" they say where I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove the battery for 10 minutes and put the battery back and wait another 2 hours - still not good . Although when I tried, I saw the icon charge for a few seconds during the first 2 hours, but do not see it again.

    Anyone have a suggestion? Do you want to know if I need to replace my battery or have this problem? We have no Center service BB here in the Philippines. The trader would normally send unit to Singapore to have checked/fixed. I can't afford not to have my phone because of my work and I have files that are stored in...

    In waiting for someone to answer, I did some research and tried them out, but so far, I'm still not able to turn onn/load my camera.

    Here's what I've tried so far:

    1 pull the battery loading and put back on the

    2. the "kickstart" than what a qualified member where in while now the end call key, remove the battery and the light RED LED while that appear and immediately press call button for 3 seconds and press the end button again. He advised to do 7-12 times and told me that does not work the first time... but try again. (I tried to do this several times)

    4 force detect the BlackBerry smartphone by using the Application Loader. It was also published in KB10144of Blackberry Knowledge Base.

    FYI: guests of the message I have seems different from what has been published well since I don't have the chance to reinsert the battery. I was prompted to unplug the unit and close the application before installation. After you restart, DM didn't register my device. Did not have the option 'new attempt/Update ".

    Sure!  Followw this process:

    Connect your data cable to your computer and the device.

    Can get the operational Blackberry Desktop Manager

    Once you have to market it must automatically back up your device. If not, then on the main screen below, click on "Back up Now".

    Now, we're going to reinstall your operating system.  But first, make sure you have a full load, otherwise, it may damage your device if it is interrupted.

    Then, in high single left-click device as shown below.

    Then, scroll down and click on "update

    Then, it will give the list your current OS that has a checkbox, as well as previous versions. Keep the check mark when it is on your current operating system

    Then click on "install".

    Make sure you have the box for 'Return to the top device Data' that will restore all your data and settings after installation, as shown below.
