BlackBerry Smartphones BB new apps keeps deleted again, the add RSS news

I deleted several news feeds on new BB app like AP News 1.0.1.9. They keep reappearing on my list of subscribers son! Ive deleted and reainstalled the application, but no luck. Any ideas? I have a Torch 9800.

Apparently, the problem was with my blackberry ID - registered for a new and used for the news show, and everything is happy.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Mobile App will not complete the installation.

    I just bought a bold 9700 and downloaded the app store of bb then tried to download yahoo IM.  At first, it appeared to download and then it just froze at half way through the download.  I then downloaded app world again and replaced the previous version, but it still won't let me download the yahoo app.  If anyone knows what may be the problem?  Thank you

    You should be able to reuse the ID of the Application. If you get an error indicating that the ID is already in use AFTER you have removed the application, follow these steps:

    (1) connect to sqlplus as the user FLOWS_XXXXXX, where XXXXXX is the version of the Apex running.

    (2) sqlplus > DELETE FROM flows_XXXXXX.wwv_flows_reserved WHERE id = ;

    Hi all. Have a little problem. I had to go back to an old 9700 When my current iPhone broke. I needed a new card SIM from the iPhone using a different card. When I called Rogers to activate the SIM everything was fine for about a minute. I received texts that were pending since Sunday when my iPhone broke. I had full bars etc. Once a minute, he went to SOS only. While I was on the phone with Rogers Tech Support I have reset and removed the battery and SIM and all the things they wanted me to.     First this... avoid this tech Rogers like the plague. He has no idea what he's talking about. All what he told you is simply not possible. Once MEP unlocked, a BB device can blocked at the factory. Nothing of what you have done or the facilities of any OS can relock a BB.

    I'd rather a complete security on the Device Wipe:

    • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

    Otherwise, a ResetToFactory WIPE:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

    After each one, put it in the SIM card and switch on the device, and then make sure that the voice is through Rogers. Only then start to worry about getting all the data to work (if you subscribe BIS, in other words).

    Recently, I unlocked my blackberry torch 9800 and start using a Korean SIM. The name of the carrier is Olleh. As soon as the phone loaded with Korean sim card I expect a lot of problems with my phone. The black timer icon appears whenever I try to use the phone to do anything pictures/SMS/calls etc. This makes the use of any application, that really need me a lot of time, and more that the phone is slow.  It's as if the phone is blocked and it is always busy, which makes the battery last less than 2 hours. Then begins the most serious problem. Because of what I described, I run very often of the battery. When I load again the phone and turn it on, all the activity that I did the last time is deleted. This means that the history of calls, texts, contacts, memos and others disappear whenever I have run out of battery. Since I have this problem (about 2 weeks) I was not able to store contacts, record memos, set reminders etc.

    I read that there are no viruses for blackberry. I don't have many applications, so I don't think that it is a memory problem. My only guess, is that something in the configuration has changed when I unlocked the phone or put the card sim Korean. I looked in all the menus (options, configuration, etc) to see if something was wrong and that he could not solve the problem.

    If your device is not responding Mode safe then had to force the detection of your device by using desktop software preconfigured to load the operating system even once and you will lose your data in this process, I hope you have your past Backup.So, please follow the Knowledge Base to recover your device.

    I just changed my old BB to 9900. I used the BB Desktop Software to backup and restore my contacts beetween handsets

    However I've also carried over ALL my old SMS and email that I didn't... Now my BB seems to work very slowly and keeps freezing. Every time I get a new SMS the following POP-UP appears:

    "BlackBerry message memory is full! Please delete some SMS.

    Now I have 8000 SMS messages bizarre that I would like to remove, but impossible to find a way to mass deletion. Believe me that I have not time to keep deleting the messages individually!

    Does anyone know a solution to this problem. I guess it's very basic for some people here, but I have no idea where to start

    I actually found a solution yesterday, even though it's a little radical.

    1 back up all the content of your office software

    2. create a new account MyWorld - I wanted to do anyway to link to my new Blackberry email address

    Since apps, photos and music tend to be stored on the memory card as opposed to the memory of the phone that they are intact. I absolutely do not recommend this as a solution, since it is certainly very extreme, but it does not work.

    As a side note, I think that RIM has been a bit naïve in their design of the App World - this is the device of the client to do with as they wish - to protect us from ourselves is not really necessary!
