BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" with Lotus Note v.7 (BIS) setting

Hi all

I'm Indonesia romy. I just got my "BOLD" of Indosat (Indonesian telco provider) and now already System.* BIS to the breast. Since I want to integrate/read my mail workoffice (v.7 IBM Lotus Notes as a platform) in my smart phone BlackBerry (Bold), could you please tell me how (if BIS can read the Lotus Notes messaging platform)? As happened in the air (in Indonesia), somebodies says '' may '' and the others said: "can't".

Thanks for all your help.

BRgds,

R.E Wibisono

Indonesian Blackberry user

Hi again,

After compiling all the news, finally I can receive / send through my email account from desktop with Bb "BOLD" (always using BIS instead of BES). Just, I went into setting in my 'operator.blackberry, com' and put my Office in "Reply To" email account address Subsequently applied setting "Rules of mail" on the Lotus Notes email, which auto before all incoming emails in my operator of Bb in my "BOLD" e-mail account.

That's all!...

  • Problem syncing of Smartphones from blackBerry with Lotus Notes 8 (Windows - no synchronization farm)

    Hello world

I have a problem with the replication of a Blackberry Storm (9500) with Lotus Notes 8.0.2. The desktop software that I am running is version 4.7.0.25 on Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3.

After setting up the synchronization of calendar and address book, when you synchronize manually, start the pop-up windows, where one would expect to see the progress bar of the just closed synchronization after a splitsecond.

Even if I put the journal setting within the highest synchronization propertiesto possible value, no log is written at all.

The Windows event logs do not show only one entry for that matter.

When trying to auto-sync after connecting the usb with the computer devicethrough blackberry cell phone, the device is recognized, but still there is no synchronization.

Everyone knows a similar problem before?

    Any hint is appreciated.

    Thank you much in advance.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync Blackberry "BOLD" with Outlook 2000

I just bought a blackberry "BOLD" and I went to sync it with my computer at work, that has Outlook 2000 on him.  I installed the synchronization software and when I went to install my synchronization properties not showed Outlook as an option.  ATT, I called and they told me that the Desktop Software 4.6 doesn't support outlook 2000, but the blackberry "BOLD" does not support a different version of the desktop software.  So I'm stuck between the hammer and the anvil.  Is there a way around this (other than the obvious improvement my Outlook) known. Or are there other programs on IE companion link or something like that let you synchronize my blackberry to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Phillips

I finally got my phone synced with my Outlook 2000 to work.  However, you must use the 3rd party app Companion Link.  In addition, it must be the most up-to-date version (V3). Link companion works with Desktop Manager to synchronize with the configuration of the office for a 'add-in' program manager, then I put everything in place through related link, including programs that I would use.  If anyone has found a way to sync without the help of a third party app please let me know.

    Thank you

  • Integration with Lotus Notes

    Hello

Does anyone know if there is a snap for the Lotus Notes Calendar, that is made for Microsoft Outlook?

    Kind regards

    Dan

No, it isn't. The outlook add-in was not by Adobe. However, the add-in does not have much (other than to create a meeting request with the meeting room specified in your folder my meetings). You can achieve the same thing just copy and paste the URL of your meeting room in a meeting request in Lotus Notes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones synchronization with Lotus Notes Calendar

Well, never having to do what you need, I even flying a little blind. Tell you what, because you don't know what you have done to cause this, maybe a startover clean and complete the configuration of DTM is in order? If you decide to go this route, a procedure:

I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, under Vista/Win7, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)

    (2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

    • KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
    • Some noted that there are several registry keys to remove talk in this KB
    • Others have reported the use of a registry cleaning tool to be also useful

    (3) get a new RIM DTM software download:

    • Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchronizing via USB):
    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):

    (5) install DTM on your PC

Installation of 6) (also on your PC), device OS package

    (7) start the configuration Organizer:

    • KB17022 How to configure applications to Organizer for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager

If all goes well, who's going to make things again.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9700 will not ring

Hello guys. I have a problem with my BB Phone. It does not ring. When people try to contact me, it just doesn't sound. I have v.5.0.0.586. I tried rebooting by removing the battery, but still the same problem. Could someone help me please?

    Hi BiancaBogdan

It's fine if your device passes self-test.

Have you tried to change your ringtone to any default ringtone?

If the problem persists, then it could be a software problem, but this is my personal advice to stay on OS 5, because the Bold 9700 doen't have enough memory to run OS6, you can install it on your Bold 9700 OS6 but you will have to confront the issue with little memory, will not be able to install the application a lot , multiple tabs, you may experience problems such as freezing and trolling device. I suggest that you should stay on OS5 and try to perform a clean OS Reload that will correct any software problem.

first make a backup of your device using desktop software:

KB12487 : How to backup BlackBerry smartphone data using BlackBerry desktop software for Windows

Then follow this KB to recharge your device software:

KB11320  : How to perform a reload own BlackBerry Device using BlackBerry desktop software for windows software

After charging, do not restore any 3rd party application from your backup, choose a selective restore, restore only your Contacts, calendar, memo etc. Check your device and see if the problem resolves. If the problem continues then you can start with the native BlackBerry application and continue with the others.

Try it and tell us your progress.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync with Lotus Organizer to Outlook migration

For years I was syncing my BB, including the storm with my Lotus Organizer PIM, uses an earlier version of Desktop software. Recently, my time schedule of synchronization, so I finally had to bite the bullet and convert all my data of Outlook Organizer, I did, I think that properly. Then I did a sync with the latest Desktop and Outlook software. What's happened is that he created many entries of duplicate calendar and contacts of those on the BB. What I would do is to remove all my data, contacts, calendars, to do, etc, but not the applications that I have on the device, then re - sync and hopefully get that one set of data on the BB, is there a way to remove this information without deleting all the other modules that I have on the device? Thank you.

Yes! This only deletes your device calendar data.

    1. Connect your BlackBerry to your PC via the USB port.
    2. Open the Desktop Manager.
    3. Click on backup and perform a full backup of your device before you proceed to the next step.
    4. Once that is complete, go back to backup/restore > advanced. You will see a left and right window, your right pane is your device data.
    5. Scroll the window for calendar data, so that the line is highlighted, and then click CLEAR below.

Now, you can resynchronize your Outlook data on the device.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Blackberry Bold 9900 does not load!

I've had my "BOLD" for 8 months now, last month my phone would not temporarily load, but today that it won't load at all, I had a new battery about two months ago, it was great at first, but then lost power later, the. Owen I connect my charger, the end is flawed and does not quite, I had the charger when I bought the phone at Christmas. I tried several outlets, but no progress... when I connect my phone to my computer, it loads only if I keep very still or sometimes not at all! So, what can I do? Thank you.

    Hi ryanchatt98,

Thanks for the update! So that means your previous number is no more and you have only problem with your screen and keyboard during the direct light of the Sun. Well you can try pulling battery restart.which is still considered the first step towards the removal of the defects within the unit. Do it like this any device powered on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back. See if that solves your problem.

If this isn't the case, then you can go for a reload or update your device, which I think can solve your problem of screen and keyboard.

    Good luck
