BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Curve 8250

Hello, I have a blackberry curve 8250, slowly but surely I have to press the menu more difficult a button harder to display the menu screen. The problem gradually worsened a worse, I adapted a new case to the blackberry in the hope that it would fix it but obviously not. I searched on google one can find anything that helps me in anyway. Anyone can shed some light on this situation for me? Perhaps a solution? Or a new part number or something? Thank you Lawrence!

Well you really need to change the custody of top screen, which if do you replace it with Blackberry so believe me my friend it will be a BlackBerry problem to fix it back and make sure you have a perfectly workable device.

If you try to replace it yourself, it could be a tough call, I guess (although not an expert of material, but always with my experience).

So for insurance to visit BlackBerry Service Station authorized.

Hope that solves your question1

    If your 802.11 running * N * on your router, this could cause problems. The BB model you are using doesn't support 802.11 * G * and 802. 11 * B *.

One thing I do to try to eliminate this problem is to check your settings wireless LAN of your router by logging in the cpanel. If it tells you are currently using tape N then try to pass it to one of the compatible bands above and see if your phone makes a connection to UMA. If this does not resolve the problem, by all means, let me know and we can explore other avenues.

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. Hello tintintin23,

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or during loading or if the applications are running in the background. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

Also always try to properly close the Applications - avoid using the end key to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Or on your home screen to go to Options > device > application management. Move your trackpad right or left it shows CPU Usuages, it will at least give you an idea what application is the use of your resources.

Check and see if any application is responsible for the problem.

Question of observation on our BlackBerry battery cover them charge, are lithium-ion battery it won't take too long to load, it can reach a full charge (100%) within 2 hours. If your camera takes too long while you have connected to a wall outlet has a good and constant power. Or you can visit your service provider to check if this is a hardware failure.

  • BlackBerry smartphone BlackBerry Curve 8520 cannot connect to PC

Hi, I recently bought a BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone. I want to transfer music from my computer to the BlackBerry files. I have already installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. But even after I connect the BlackBerry to the USB port of my PC, when I click on "Media Manager" in the Desktop Manager, a message appears saying: "Media Manager is only supported using a USB connection, to run the Media Manager, please connect your device to your computer via a USB cable.

When I check my BlackBerry, there are the popup on the screen:

"The source of load connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery. Some USB hubs may not supply enough power. Plug the hub into a socket (if available), then reconnect your BlackBerry device. Connection to another (different computer, USB hub or USB power) USB port check that the USB cable is properly connected to your BlackBerry device and a USB port, check that your computer is not in sleep mode, standby mode or hibernation. Check that BlackBerry USB drivers installed on your computer. »

I can check all of the above, except for the drivers USB BlackBerry. Can someone tell me where I can download it? Moreover, I did not have a SIM card, I do not know if that plays a role in the present.

    Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Have a SIM won't matter for what you are wanting to do.

    1. make sure that you are connected to a main REAR usb port, not a USB port on the front or a usb hub.

    2. one. Go to Options > Media Card
(some themes or BlackBerrys can call this ' settings > Media Card ")

    b. check the following parameters (if they are that way, then changes according to the following:)

    • Media card support: on
    • Mass storage Mode support: on
    • Auto enable mass storage: Yes

    c. save the settings and exit

can someone please help I really need my email, bbm and whatsapp return

Hello and welcome to the community!

Based on your description, I would deduct low or weak signal from your mobile service provider. Digital devices to modulate their energy consumption depending on the strength of the signal they receive from the Tower of the carrier. Low quality/signal strength, higher battery drain. For good check, you need to contact your mobile service provider, because it is the network, which is the cause. It is possible to have a few problems in the areas that you are in.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hello

One word: HELP! This is so the case... a friend gave me a Blackberry Curve 9300 to use (cause it not to use) cause my old phone went kaput. in any case, I turned it on and I see a written screen KOODOO mobile (a telephone to the Canada company) and then immediately a screen saying "DEVICE is locked". When I choose to open it says "Enter password" and I can't get past this screen for something else. My friend doesn't remember the password. He had introduced FIDO sim card so I'm thinking that the phone is unlocked... I have a FIDO sim card also. Can someone help me understand this? What I have to go to the KOODOO store and ask them to unlock or to anyone who makes the unlocking the phones? Or can someone here help me? Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

BBs are very secure - only the password created by the user can unlock the BB. There is no password 'master' or 'ignore' to do so... only the password created by the user can do.

But, you can maybe in luck still... refer:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

No not the password the maximum time will initiate a WIPE on the device, which is part of these important instructions. But other measures in these instructions are also important to... by the seller and the buyer. Not well fill ALL risks instructions making the BB not fully usable by the buyer (you).

    Good luck!
