BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Desktop v7 under Windows using Office Outlook 2013 8.1

Used with BB Desktop happiness until last week when she told me my organizer was not supported by BB Desktop and a DLL file is missing. I haven't had any changes to BB Desktop or Outlook.

So I uninstalled BB Desktop, cleaned the registry and re-installed BB Desktop, but it does not recognize 2013 Outlook on the PC, the configuration if the synchronization is not possible.

Office 2013 seems to have some automatic updates of good old Microsoft, which can be the cause of the problem; However RIM must be aware of this and issue a patch for BB Desktop ideally...

Any other suggestions or corrections can recommend?

My intuition about the problem being with Outlook turned out to be correct.

I ran the option repair Office 2013 via Control Panel / programs installed and right clicking on desktop 2013.

Then restarted BB Desktop v7 and the organizer of Outlook was can be selected in the configuration of the synchronization.

So BB Desktop v7 work with Outlook 2013 8.1 64-bit Windows, although sometimes there are problems...

My BB Q10 cannot synchronize calendar and Contacts to link BB, because it finds no more prospects.

I have a Lenovo desktop with 10 Windows (64-bit) and 2013 Office. I had office 365 before but had to uninstall because of a technical problem. Since I downloaded Office (and Outlook) 2013 the BB link does not recognize Outlook as an option to sync more.

    Hi Marcel

As far as I know from reading the discussions in this forum and in the Microsoft support Web site, Outlook 2010 is compatible for Contacts and Calendar sync with BlackBerry link on Windows 10. I am using Outlook 2007 on Win10. But I use Outlook.com as master of my Contacts to sync and backup purposes. That's why I encourage you to try outlook.com and you'll like it.

  • Problems syncing of Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop Manager: closed windows program

I have Windows Vista and my BB Desktop manager is v4.5.  Over the past 2 weeks I couldn't sync my BB 8330 closed windows the program after she compares the calendar in outlook and tells me I have a crash of the application.  I read all the threads and instructions to fix this problem and have tried each of the solutions, but to no avail.  I am at a loss to know what to do now.

I found the solution!   There was a corrupt outlook calendar entry.  I'm not sure that one but here is what I did to solve the problem: I backed up my data in my device using the backup feature.  Given that I had isolated this calendar was the problem, I then set up my sync not sync calendar and make a one-way sync outllook on my device, replace all data in the device.  I had a successful synchronization and then went I reconfigured my sync to synchronize everything done the two-way synchronization.  Once again, success!  Thanks for all the suggestions you gave.

  • OPATCH under Windows using

    Hello

    I have 1o.2.0.4 on Windows Server 2003

My problem is very simple. Try to install a patch, but not finding the command opatch

    Installation instructions:
    Patch installation steps:
    -------------------------

Set your directory to the directory where the patch
    is located:
    % cd < PATCH_TOP > / 8350262
    CD D:\OraclePatches\OraclePatch8350262\8350262

    * Actually run the command opatch is my problem *.

Make sure that the directory containing the script opatch appears in
your $PATH; Then, enter the following command:
    opatch % applies

    D:\OraclePatches\OraclePatch8350262\8350262 > opatch apply
'opatch' is not recognized as an internal or external command
    operable program or batch file.

The Opatch utility access path is: D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\OPatch

I know it's easy! Thanks for any help! JOhn

    You can try this:

    c:\OPatch\opatch applies

    Or (on your system)

D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\OPatch\opatch applies (since the patch directory you install)

Replace with the full path to your location opatch.

You probably need 6880880 (opatch version) for Windows if you don't have it.

In older versions of Windows/Office, a PDF printer has been integrated in the software, such as Word. This would print directly in Acrobat PDF version.

  • Smartphones blackBerry desktop content display

    Hello

I have a 9500. Just dropped a Treo 650. I found the palm funtion to view the content of applications for treo on the treo (on my pc) desktop very useful.  Can I do the same thing with the BlackBerry Desktop on my computer, plse?

Unfortunately, there is no way to do it directly for BlackBerry users at the moment and I don't know if it will be in the future.

One thing you can do with your BlackBerry is that you can plug it into your computer and show all files (images, documents, music, movies and more) that are stored on your device memory and memory card.  This can be done more easily through Windows Explorer on your computer.

You can also synchronize your calendar/tasks/notes/etc to your computer and view using a program such as Microsoft Outlook.  Which is managed via the BlackBerry Desktop Manager under the synchronization section.

    I hope the info helps.
