Hi and welcome to the forums!

You can block in one of the following two ways:

(1) you call block certain types of traffic of text. Go to OPTIONS/SECURITY/firewall.

You can select the type of message to block traffic. However, this can block messages entrants all for this

category. Example if you block the traffic, SMS, SMS messages of all will be blocked

(2) you can call the carrier and the number blocked as spam. Depending on the amount of messages.

You may be able to obtain from the carrier to remove the texts of your Bill.

2 (a) If you use AT & T as a carrier, you can block and the control messages from the link below. I do not know

If other carriers offer this service.

Just got a Blackberry "BOLD" replacement as a result of the original stops working (experienced a black screen).

I can receive and send mobile phone, but my audio (speakers) may not be heard by the appellant or the person at the other end.  It's extremely frustrating.  My kids tried to call me and wish me a happy father's day, but they can't hear me.

    Can someone help me?

If you look very closely at the top of the unit, which means that you are looking down on it from above, there is an icon of microphone with a line through it.  It's the button mute, and there is a good chance that you have postponed pressed her.  Press again to turn the sound back on and have your call of children that you back up before the father's day is officially over.

Let us know if it helps to make a great father's day.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones delete all messages from hand held-problem solved

It's as much as you would with any other device. Open the folder, highlight the messages by holding down the SHIFT key, and then delete

Highlight the last date in this particular message box, press menu, select "Delete prior" and click. all of your messages will be deleted.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer of data from your old phone

I bought the new Bold 9900 and want to transfer the contact list of old Curve 8900 to new phone via Bluetooth. The 8900 transferred all the data, confirming the number of entries that it transferred, but the 9900 has received the first entry in my contacts list. How can I get all contacts in the 9900? Or, what I am doing wrong?

The best way to transfer data from one BlackBerry to another is to use BlackBerry Desktop Software.  I used it several times without problem.

Let us know if you need some help with that.

How can I block a message from accidental deletion?

The safest way is to not use the Inbox for long term storage. Make folders for your important and warden messages and move them out of the Inbox, and in these cases. This also prevents your Inbox for this purpose, so that it has been designed.

    Thank you very much, Laox

    Dear everyone!

First: sorry for the bad English :-)

I have my Garmin to work. Yesterday, I did a full security check of my mobile. What does a hard reset (removed all memory of the phone) and now installed back safety record. I didn't do anything special, just started the Garmin and its worked. Why? I think that the phone can't install Garmin correctly the file downloaded, but when I deleted and has let the BB Desktop Manager to install it that everything went very well. If someone has the same problem try this option, its worth it!

PS: of course, I wrote a letter to BB and Garmin support, but no one knew the problem...

    Bye!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blocked Facebook application

I bought the Blackberry Torch 9800 in my company. The Facebook application is blocked, a message as follows:

"This application have been blocked by your administrator of business system. Contact your system administrator for more information."

You would be able to help me unlocked so that I can used the Facebook via wifi.

Hello and welcome to the community!

If your BB is still enabled on your business system, you must talk to your BES admins... they apply this block through BES IT policy.

If you want to say that you are separate from your company and no longer use their services, then their BES admins does not correctly clean your device when they gave it to you. In this case, you need this:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

You must of course a full backup first, the instructions for which you can find in my auto-sig on this post. But when you restore, make sure you DON'T make a full restore... just do a selective restore of the databases you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.), especially avoiding any database that have nothing to with politics COMPUTER, company, etc.. If you do not restore those, you find yourself right back where you are now, because who will dutifully restore politics to the TI back to your BB.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones purge Outgoing Messages

Hello. I did a stupid thing and tried to me e-mail a bunch of pictures that I took on the Balckberry. It has now been completely bogged down and "transformational" for more than an hour down from my Blackberry. How can I delete these messages from Pocket PC running so slowly that I can't even e-mail section to remove? Any suggestions?

You're not this is fast enough after the reboot, I guess.

If you could scroll to connection management and turn off the wireless, which could stem the flow of data and allow you to delete messages.

or in the Options > mobile networks.

Furthermore, according to your signal, I lived about 3.5 MB of data sent over an EDGE connection can take about 30 minutes... depending on what you send, just set aside the BB and come back in a while

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones are deleted messages, actually deleted?

I'm new to BB.  I have a question about the messages.  When I delete a message, it went really?  On Windows Mobile phones, that I have used in the past, you delete a message, and he goes to a trash can.  Then, you remove again to be sure it is really gone.

    This happens on BB phones?

When you delete a message, does go somewhere else on the phone, or is it really deleted?

    Thank you

    Mike

There is no "trash" on BlackBerry. Once an item is deleted, it is really deleted.

With the exception of an agent of forensics experts to examine the BlackBerry, there is not way that e-mail or data back once it has been removed from the BlackBerry (other that it could still be on your server e-mail or in Outlook if use you it).

  • BlackBerry Q5 permanently delete messages from Pocket and the server

I have a smartphone BlackBerry Q5 for work.  I want to know how it is possible to remove messages from your handheld, so that they may never be seen again.  I have removed from my Inbox on my PC at work, deleted my box deleted on my PC at work and then purged my deleted emails while they are supposed to be deleted on the server forever.  Yet, if I do a search on my handheld for the said emails, although nothing comes originally, if I click on the remote at the bottom of the page search opition, mails very I want permanently deleted all the records now appear and even when I enter them and click on delete, they're not going anywhere.

I absolutely need their party for good if nobody knows what can be done?  In addition, e-mails can be recalled all have a red no signs of entry next to them and I don't know what that means.  Any help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

We have removed from my BB email account and then reset upward a new - emails are still there.  We tried to synchronize the deleted folder again and again and restart the phone but it does not work either.

And tells me ^^ again once there is a mail server problem, not a matter of BlackBerry.

The Q5 and all models of BlackBerry10 OS do not store or save send ON the device, they synchronize the email from the server. So if remove you account and the account again on the installation media, and the same e-mail synchronized to your handheld... where do you think they are synchronization from?

    Your server.

This is where you need to get support.
