  Click the icon of your options and select screen/keyboard. Scroll up to where it says left and right convenience keys and just click and put them 'nothing '. Please let me know if that helps.

  I recently bought a Blackberry Bold with Rogers Mobile.  When to put the "BOLD" in his case (or remove it), I seem to accidentally hit the button for voice commands on a regular basis.  I do not currently use voice commands.  Is it possible to disable this button or change so that double clicking is necessary to activate voice commands?

  On your BB, go to Options > keyboard/screen, scroll down to the RIGHT and to the LEFT the convenience keys and put the one that is currently set for your voice dialing, none, or another application.

  It's probably a setting within the voice Notes app itself... When you have this opening, press on the and select Options, settings or whatever it might be. There should be a place to specify the storage location of the recorded notes.

  Sorry, but I don't have your exact model to try with... so you'll need to dig a little to find it. If you provide your exact model number and level of the OS, I have a simulator that I can run to see if I can reproduce the steps... but, what you said is 'Bold 9780"to the top, but no mention of the level of your operating system:

• Problem blackBerry Smartphones BBM 8 voice call

  Hello

  Voice calls with BB7 worked very well.

  I've updated to BBM 8 a few days back. And since I am not able to make voice calls.

  Once I am connected to WiFi, I am able to browse and run other applications via WiFi smoothly. But BBM says: ' "could not establish the connection of voice chat.".

  After update on BBM, I ran a few other updates device which includes BB ID and updated device library.

  Now, I browsed the article http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33102 and checked everything. I have no firewall and other settings that must be here.

  I would like to know if someone has seen and solved the problem.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a love/hate relationship with my 8330. I like it, but it's so frustrating. I would use the shortcuts of the letter, but I can't understand how to turn off anything in "phone dialer." I don't know where is the phone dialer. EACH key seems to go to the address book.

  I watched the tutorial and I even bought a book, but I'm still ripping my hair out half the time.

  Green key, then in the screen of the phone, menu button, select options, General options. Scroll to dial from home screen

  This gets you are dialing from the home screen.

  Return to the same path for telephone options, General options, phone list views, can be set to 'name '.

  This allows you to type 'R' and get users starting with 'R '.

• BlackBerry smartphone 8330 disconnect in the middle of the synchronization of the Manager Office, but still connected to the computer

  I am a new user.  I love my Blackberry 8330.

  However, yesterday I came across a problem where the 8330 disconnects constantly in the middle of operations with the Desktop Manager.  He does not often occur in one place.  I got several error types: connector specific error 0X80040fb3, cannot synchronize, etc.  Spontaneous disconnects are not confined to the calendar, tasks, or address book - it happened during all these and sometimes before it had even begun to synchronize.  I pulled the battery once.  It synced well after that just to have the same problems the next day.

  This happens in the middle of other operations using the Desktop Manager as well.  As the backup files.  It will shut off in the middle of one of the backup files, or will only stay connected long enough to a backup file.

  In all this, the computer recognizes the blackberry as connected and the blackberry continues to display the "connect to the computer.

  The Start Menu and taskbar will often hang or disappear after that the Desktop Manager ceases to recognize the Blackberry and then the Blackberry is always connected.  Once the Blackberry is disconnected, the start menu and taskbar is released from the hanging or reappears.

  Also meet a few spontaneous reboots, but I think it has more to do with apps than anything else.  Some JVM 102 errors on restart.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Since the sync with my PC, my contacts list of 750 is visible until I have start typing letters to refine a search for a specific name, and then most of the names that should be visible to the search disappear? Only a small part of the 750 seem to be part of research when I type the letters to find names, I think related to the ones I edited on Outlook. Any help much appreciated. I checked the filter of address book, and I have no filters.

  Looks like a filter can be activated. Address book, click the wheel and go to filter. Clear all that is checked. If none of your contacts are associated with a filter, it's probably why you didn't see anything in the address book

  2 weeks in my new storm and the Red "end" button and the back button became unresponsive.  I don't know if I have somehow locked out them, or if they are dysfunctional.

  The only way to get out of any screen/application is to use the menu button and scroll to the bottom and select "close".

  I tried to reset by removing the battery several times, but nothing helped.  Someone at - it ideas?

  Your NUM lock is probably enabled, just try to remove battery and reinsert.  He must erase all problems...

  All of a sudden I can't button to answer, not evern the power button. Remove the battery and reset the phone it did not help. The phone worked a minute and then 45 minutes later, he wouldn't answer.
