  (1) when I activate and connect via bluetooth to any device it will not transfer any files to my Blackberry but it will transfer without problems to the other device! I played with some parameters as the manufacture of the device's confidence and also one, but will not receive any files of another period of phone! Although the phone works without any problem with my bluetooth stereo in the car!

  (2) internet on my phone is formidable, he should be fine with a 3 g signal but doesn't work correctly only with a GPRS signal? I'm on Vodafone in the United Kingdom by the way!

  For the number of BT, what exact steps you lead? Try the following steps (after, of course, have paired both devices completely) is:

  On the storm, navigate to the folder that you want to the files are located in

  Media > BB button > Explorer

  Navigate to your folder of destination of your choice

  BBKey > receive via Bluetooth

  On the other device, start sending

  I tried to look through the forums to see if theres any other mention of this but could not find something but it definitely seems to be a problem with one of our PC

  My wife has a Win XP SP3 system and running Office 2003 and 2003 Ourlook which, until the installation of Blackberry link worked fine.  When she installed link BB and hung the BB Z10, there was questions first with him saying she had no Media Player installed... She did it... Finally after reinstalling the BB link a few times he seemed to get the message and was able to see Media Player... everything seemed fine, but I was puzzled as to why the link / Unit decided to create a new network icon for Blackberry virtual private network?  After using the link and its Z10 a few days ago she noticed that when she ran outlook 2003 on the system for some reason, she was unable to receive the incoming pop3 to his two accounts mail. She got the following error message...

  Task 'pop.gmail.com - receiving ' reported an error (0x800408FC): "the specified server name is found on the network (it might be down temporarily).» Please check that you are connected and that the server name is correct. »

  I messed around with the system for a few hours Googling the problem and changing the settings and then change their return but nothing seems to change... and then, after a restart (with not really changed parameters), he started working again?  Last night she again connected the Z10 and ran link synchronized music to his device and then tried to collect e-mails via outlook and he starts again giving an error?

  Thanks for the quick response.

  I am pleased to see that we have highlighted in this one machine, if you will not tie the Z10 BlackBerry as modem then you can keep the VPN BlackBerry off.

  Another that what could it be causing a conflict with the BlackBerry VPN, to be honest, I have an application that causes problems with the BlackBerry VPN connection and I have to turn off sometimes.

• BlackBerry Smartphones problem setting up email

  Hello everyone, I reccently purchased a vodafone bb 8900 to my friend, I unblocked him today and I am currently using a 02 sim card. My companion had set up on the phone but deleted emails before you send the phone.

  My problem is when I try to configure my emails I go to Settings / Setup Wizard / Configuration of email, there is no option to create or add an email account. Only the possibility of using a professional email with an Enterprise Server account. And there is no shortcut to the e-mail settings in the setup folder.

  does anyone know how to configure my e-mail from here?

  PS This is my first blackberry and I am a complete novice with this stuff so if you can keep things simple, it would be greatly appreciated thank you Ryan

  It is likely that some of the seller in the first element steps were not completed... those that must be made before continuing. I suggest to do it again. More... your friend got it on BES? If so, there are a few extra steps (in this picture) that must be made.

  Just bought my z30. But I have problems with:-Blackberry world isn't download ANY application "an error has occurred processing your request" - the camera when flips horizontally do not reverse the camera image and use that half of the screen - the camera is not actually taking pictures. Touch screen or the volume buttons does nothing. -When I try to open programs (go docs > open documents... nothing.) • BlackBerry 10 problems with list of calendars and Google Apps contacts

  First I did a search but the results that are returned are all either outdated (using ActiveSync) or does not work for me (CalDAV and using the client to add a default account).

  I have a free Gmail from Google Apps (e.g. @companyname instead of @gmail) business account and the difficulty to get the calendar and contacts. I had no problem adding my regular Gmail account and that synchronized all emails, contacts and calendar list, but the Google Apps account will only add to my @website account, but not the calendar or contact list.

  Can someone help or direct me to a thread that I might have missed?

  Oh, I'm sorry... I missed the word 'free' on your first post... you have free Google Apps and not paid Google Apps... As far as I KNOW, only paid accounts still get ActiveSync:

  • KB33798 10 blackBerry Smartphone displays the error message "Service for account is not available, access should be available soon a 403 error" when you try to integrate a Gmail via Microsoft ActiveSync free

  Therefore, you must configure via IMAP, you have to first of all make sure you activate via the Gmail webmail interface. According to the KB above the BB10 Assistant should be able to configure correctly, without having to provide advanced details (after you activate your Google account to IMAP, of course).

  Wheneven you feel you cursor is affectionate always perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back, wait until your device supports a long restart. See if it solves your problem.

They are rather a user forum where volunteers try to troubleshoot other kind souls at best. Therefore, what you get here is in no way part of your official support (which you can get from your wireless service provider that can degenerate officially your case in RIM if necessary).

  I know for a fact that my information is correct, I double and triple checked the site and on my BB, but I can't for the life of me log on my paypal account.  Is there by chance a problem with the connection with emails that contain special characters? My email's name [dot] name [at] service.  Is this what is the cause of bounce every time I try to connect?

  It turns out that my password was not through.  Maybe he had not taken in charge of special characters?  I used the | sign my password.  You can watch by supporting the same characters that accepts Paypal.

• Connection USB blackBerry Smartphone problems

  I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 m running the latest OS updates.

  Recently, my BlackBerry has stopped synchronizing via USB.  My computer is a Windows XP with Desktop Manager v.4.7.  I never had problems with synchronization previously.  Another Member of the family has a BlackBerry Curve as well, and them connects and syncs perfectly.  Thus, this addresses the problems with the USB cable and the computer itself.

  When my BlackBerry is connected, the indicator is on, but my XP does not recognize that have plugged in at all.  In the Windows Device Manager, it is said that there is no active USB connection.

  Suggestions, please?

  I tried all the stuff into the Knowledge Base of BlackBerry.  I also tried syncing my BlackBerry to the computer of a friend who use Desktop Manager and gave the same frustrating results.

  After several hours of anguish, I decided to do a clean wipe of my phone... success!  Obviously, a file has been corrupted that was vital to the process of USB connection.   Fortunately, I made a backup last week, so I do not lose too much data.
