BlackBerry Smartphones can find any BB Applications

I downloaded Podcast BB and BB Protect successfully. However, I can't find either application on my device. BB App World has even updated both applications but I can't find icons for either and not any other way to start them. Ideas?

I have a BB Torch 9810 v7.0.0.261 running

Yes, it is unfortunate that the BlackBerry is not compatible with BES right now.  With respect to the application of Podcasts, try the Media folder on your home screen.

I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I install an application in two BlackBerry devices?

    Hi all!

When I buy and install an application on a device of BlackBerryOS, so can I download and install again in another device BlackBerryOS without paying again? I use a BlackBerry 9900 and a 8310. The app I want to buy supports two devices.

    Thank you.

Oops... Sorry about that... typo. Yes, BBWorld, no BBM surveys. As I said, some paid via BBWorld apps can be installed on multiple devices if they are all on the same BBID. Other applications may have controls within the application itself, which limits it to a single BB PIN. The developer of the app is the only person who can answer your question with certainty.

    Good luck!

  • Themes blackBerry Smartphones can find on BB 8100

is the best way to get your themes from your pc to phone using Desktop Manager and using the application loader to install on your phone... to open the application loader, and then click Add browse to the location on your pc where you unzipped and select the .alx files then click Next and follow the rest of the steps your phone will reboot and then go to options themes and select your theme... hope this helps

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not enter an application within the menu

    Hello

first of all I must tell you that I'm French so sorry if I make mistakes!

    I have Blackberry Curve 8520.

When I'm inside the menu with all the icons, I can't get into any of them. If I push the touch pad, nothing happens.

I don't know what to do. I guess I should try to reset the unit. but I don't know how to do this, especially to this problem.

    So please help me!

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not access the application Center

When I downloaded the OS to 9100 pearl, I lost the ability to access my application Center. Tab to see he was there, but none of my applications appear. When I try to reset I get error 404.
    Any suggestions?

Are you referring to "Application Center" or "App World"?
If Application Center, so you can connect with TELUS and tell them that they can pull their webmaster (404 means that the Application Center tries to connect to a Web page on the TELUS Web site to pick up applications that TELUS wants you to use).

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not install new applications after upgrade to version 5

Since I downloaded something like "Blackberry OS version 5" on the web and updated my device using the Desktop Manager, I was able to download new applications.

I managed to get the BBM on - the phone would have been useless if not - but no more applications will be downloaded.

Everything seems to work, if I download via the web, or use the Desktop Manager to install applications, there are no mistakes and he said it worked - but there is no icon of the application in a folder.

For example, BB app world: says Office Manager installed, but it is not accessible, because there is no icon anywhere.

My carrier say they can not me more help because it is a question of device.

I got "view all", as well as the icons are certainly not hidden.

I've tried dozens of times battery pull.

I tried a backup using Desktop Manager, then factory reset the device, and then restored - several times.

I tried to uninstall applications through Desktop Manager and install them again.

I don't understand what the settings are meant to be changed after I do a factory reset and restore from a backup.

    Carrier: Orange

    Device: 8900

    Platform: 4.3.0.23

    App version: 5.0.0.90 (91)

    File: 113507146

Is it possible version 5 does not work with Orange?

After the "Orange UK" link on this page, I see Orange lists v5 for download: http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads

What is the link between these things:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_downgrade_the_OS_on_my_BlackBerry%3F

    * office for PC Manager software

    * the platform as shown on the device

    * the version of the application as indicated on the device

I just updated to Version 5, tonight and had the same problem.  I went to the BB mobile site and there is an upgrade to AppWorld available - Version 2.0.0.36 once I downloaded, installed and rebooted, the icon was back and working.  Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can use any Pearl 8100 phone with any service provider?

I lost my phone and had an AT & T service. I don't want to buy a new phone, check if what is for sale on Craigslist. Not all beads for sale are for AT & T, but the 8100 Series is supposed to be for the most part, suppliers... is that correct?

If you get the unlocked device it should work on any GSM carrier. Not all MOBILE carriers now offer BlackBerry data services, but you should at least be able to use it for calls and text messages.

    Hello

I don't know what the part highlighted is... but I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

2B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    4. return to the AppWorld. Connect to MyWorld (if there is one) and try again.

I hope it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not install free applications has been paid now on PlayBook

    Hello

I can't install the apps I downloaded free now are now paid-for apps on the PlayBook. In AppWorld, I get the following error:

There was a problem during the installation. Please try again

This is a problem because an application cannot be upgraded beyond this point and once uninstalled, there is no way to access it.

Everything that can be done to reinstall these applications?

It's just how the world of App works... And the main reason as a developer will stop developing for the Playbook.

As a developer, you can have promotions where you give your free app.

Anyone who gets the free app no longer considered owners once the app is normal price again. You get access to updates, or the older version of the app if you remove it from your device.

Terrible practice and really does not surprise me why RIM is not one of the leaders in the mobile plus market.

Have no idea what is the reason for which final, but after I wiped all programs (settings-> Options-> Security-> General Settings Options-> wipe Handheld), the problem has been resolved.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find application

I recently downloaded an app go to app world, I don't remember what it's called, but I had to get a replacement phone, so I lost the apps I had, I searched for it... This is a free application that analyzes the content of your phone (daily, weekly) and get rid of unnecessary elements and perform better than your phone If I remember well, or something to that effect, I'm sorry it was late and I was tired... If anyone knows what im tryin to find, please help!

You can use the same BlackBerry ID to look for any applications that you downloaded, you simply enter in AppWorld and click on My World and you can find ALL the apps you have downloaded with your BlackBerry ID (those installed or uninstalled) or perhaps use the search feature where you can find the application even under just like tags 'scan' or «scan phone» , she is looking for everything about not only on behalf of the application, but also for the description on this subject, it may be something you can remember on the application name,

    I hope that helps!
