BlackBerry Smartphones copy / paste

I know this is probably a basic question, but how do I copy and paste from my BB or Opera Mini browser. I would like to know how to copy the address of the page I'm. And also how to select information in this page to be copied. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Copy the BB browser page you are currently on by pressing Menu > scroll to the address of the Page > copy.

I don't know how it works on the OM

To copy the text of the page you are, press Menu and SELECT mode and scroll to the beginning of your text to copy and use shift + Scroll to highlight the text you want > Menu > copy.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

RIM provides a device switch Wizard to migrate from another SmartPhone to a BB... but only for compatible devices. See this KB:

    • KB05459 How to use the switch device Wizard to switch to another smartphone to a BlackBerry smartphone

If your old phone is not compatible with the wizard, then RIM more offers the possibility to import ASCII and CSV files. See this KB:

    • KB04312 Create and synchronize with an ASCII export file

    • Sorry, but RIM does no research on how to get your data from your old device and in ASCII format or CSV... it is a function of your old device.

In addition, you could (I think should) use a desktop PIM for your data (and you should, IMO). You must choose a compatible PIM of this KB. Then download your data from your old device and the PIM Office. Next, configure the BB to sync with the PIM:

Since the update, the copy and paste unreliable numbers of docs and files PDF in the phone app now completely stopped working. I deleted and reinstalled twice for... nothing done, and we used to laugh at iPhones not having do not copy and paste!

How can I go back to the old BB10 by update?

Just find a possible workaround. When the text is highlighted and the copy icon appears, tap the icon in the second half, release and repeat two more times. Like a slow triple tap. If you're lucky, it will take only a double tap.

    Still garbage. !!!

  • BlackBerry Q5 copy / paste BBM chat

I have a fairly long conversation and try to send email, but nothing happens, so I think it's too big.  I read in various forums to find this theme and other talk about copy cat and paste it in an email.

The problem I have is, I can copy and confirms that it is copied to "copied" ChatBox appears.  However, silent sounds, I am not able to stick anywhere.  I tried to compose an email, but have no option to paste.  I tried to create a doc in docstogo - once again, no option to paste.

    Is there a solution?

    Thank you very much!

I don't know if it will work for you or not, but once the data has been copied, the method to paste is to open the field to which you want to paste, and then hold down the field for a second or two; This is what reveals the function paste.

  • BlackBerry passport copy / paste into the passport of BB

How to copy the text into the passport of BB

I have the text in FILES, DOCS &-> REMEMBER-> TASKS-> books followed by authors and book titles.
I want to copy all the text and spent all in the FILE MANAGER-> BOOKS and a new file called BOOKS to BUY.
I know how to copy but when open 'Books to buy' and type in the past nothing has happened. What I am doing wrong?

File Manager is not a word processor or a laptop. Then, to my knowledge you cannot paste text there.

Paste your collection of references in a text file and then save this file in the location you want with file manager: this seems much more logical for me at least.

What is the easiest way to copy the entire list of contacts, a Torch 9800 device in another?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Kind regards

with the use of the Desktop Manager, you can make a selective backup and restore

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

restore from upward. Follow this KB if necessary http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339

  • BlackBerry smartphones copy PC files

I want to only copy the media files from my PC to my BlackBerry. I'm a bit hesitant because I use BES to load the software CD and retrieve messages from company of my mailbox exchange on the BB.  If I load the software could it affect my automatic receipt of Email?

Are you placing them on a memory card or just the memory of BlackBerry?

l is recommended to buy a microSD card to store your multimedia files, if you run out of memory on your device.

According to what your BlackBerry OS is tells you what size microSD card you can buy. You can check under Options | Topic (will appear as v4.xx.xxx). Look at the table on the following link to see what size you can get - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05461

On the BlackBerry, go to Options | Media Media Card recommended parameters are:

    Media card support: WE
    Encryption mode: NO
    Mass storage support: WE
Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected: YES

Mass storage mode allows your BlackBerry to act as an extra drive when it is connected to your PC. It will appear as an extra drive letter in Windows Explorer. So you can just drag/release the multimedia files on your memory card

  • BlackBerry smartphones copying files using Media Manager is very slow

    Hello

I have four zip files, totaling about 2 MB, I downloaded on my memory card and wanted to transfer to my laptop.

Because I enabled encryption and the .rem files, I use Media Manager.

The files take more than 20 minutes to cross. When I used with Windows Explorer before mass storage mode, move only a few hundred MB file took seconds, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.

He also copied all the files twice, adding '00000' before the extension, for example, filename.zip.rem became filename.zip and name of file 00000.zip. Both can be open on the laptop as usual.

Does anyone have an idea, what could be the cause?

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Unless you have national secrets on your Blackberry I would disable content protection.

It slows down the Blackberry to a crawl.

Try to read this article and see if that can explain it more detail

  • BlackBerry smartphones and paste a date

I have a Storm.  In calendar, is there a way to cut an appointment one day set and paste it to another day?  (I tried the Save command in the Menu, but that doesn't seem to work - or am I missing something?)

RIM suggestion: If the current Storm software is unable to do this, add it to the next version.

I found a work around to copy an appointment. If you go in the day view, select the appointment, display the menu, select send to MMS. From there, you can send the message to yourself. After receiving the message, click on the session, choose View appointment. After that, you can click the menu button and select Add to calendar.

If you are the meeting organizer, you can simply open the meeting and change the day to another day.

  • BlackBerry smartphones copy 411 text Message sent to my phone in my address book

When you call 411 to the United States to get a phone number, you can have a registration on your phone text message.

If it is a business, it will often come to your details. I would like to copy this information to my address book.

Is there a feature in my phone to do so without simply copy and paste or retype everything? I don't know if the fields are mapped 1 to 1.

    Thank you...

If you select the phone number and press Menu, you may find the command "copy into the address book.

I know that if you dial this number in the call log, you will have this choice, for numbers not in your address book.
