BlackBerry smartphones corrupt and Roxio Media Manager certificate
When I originally installed the Desktop Manager, v4.2.x, and tried to use the Media Manager when it is connected to my Blackberry 8310 I received the error message "Roxio Easy Media Creator - the certificate is missing or has been corrupted. Please reinstall it. ». I uninstalled the Office Manager and all Roxio files, loaded to the bottom of Desktop Manager, version 4.5 and re-installed... and with the same problem.
What is happening with this?
It's the roxio media site users. Barnes is an individual of roxio, this regarding
the corrupt certificate.
In the meantime, Barnes is correct stating that your problem will be resolved to a clean install. Here are the only instructions depending on your operating system to install of the own.

BlackBerry smartphones copying files using Media Manager is very slow
Hello
I have four zip files, totaling about 2 MB, I downloaded on my memory card and wanted to transfer to my laptop.
Because I enabled encryption and the .rem files, I use Media Manager.
The files take more than 20 minutes to cross. When I used with Windows Explorer before mass storage mode, move only a few hundred MB file took seconds, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.
He also copied all the files twice, adding '00000' before the extension, for example, filename.zip.rem became filename.zip and name of file 00000.zip. Both can be open on the laptop as usual.
Does anyone have an idea, what could be the cause?
Thank you
Paul
Hi and welcome to the forums!
Unless you have national secrets on your Blackberry I would disable content protection.
It slows down the Blackberry to a crawl.
Try to read this article and see if that can explain it more detail

Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0 and hang up Roxio Media Manager
OK, I spent an hour searching for messages on the forum and not gettting any where.
Here are the details:
New laptop with Windows XP - SP3
New installation of BB Desktop Manager 500_B28_Multilanguage
I use Sync to update my address book via Ascii one-way.
What does once. No problem
Restarted my laptop. Now I get Windows Installer looking for Roxio Media Manager.msi and now I can't get rid of it.
I hit Cancel and it comes back.
The only thing in Add/Remove programs is Desktop Manager 5.0 and Blackberry Media Sync
Try to remove one and I get this message 'Installation pending'.
If there is a problem with 5.0 why is a new version correcting not out?
Means do a "Clean uninstall" (KB02206) of Blackberry Desktop Software positions, means (KB19218) Windows Installer Cleanup several positions.
Before I get started, y at - it a real solution? If I do the clean uninstall and then install 500_B28 I'll hang whenever I start the computer while the installer looking for Roxio?
Could someone help me please.
Twas obivous that I was going to get NO HELP from RIM, so I called my IT Department.
Here's what I've done so far.
Open the Task Manager.
In Applications, do a right-click on the RMM install process.
Left click on go in the process.
This step puts you on ISUSPM.exe
Click on end process.
Click OK.
Go back to Task Manager, select process
find misexec.exe
Click on end process.
Click OK.
Go to add / remove programs
Uninstall the Blackberry Desktop Manager
Uninstall using DELETE all user settings
After 15 minutes, finally deletes it on MMR also
I ran Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (290301)
verified that no Roxio programs or programs BB were on the computer
and restarted.
So far so good.
Now, I have to decide if I want to put BBDM with or WITHOUT the MM.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager doesn't work
So I installed the software that came with my blackberry curve 8330. I open the Desktop Manager and try to open the Media Manager and I get a popup that says the following:
[quote] The certificate file is missing or damaged. Please re - install. {[/ quote]}
And will not let me add music to my blackberry so I can listen to on the bus. This is a new installation of the software from the cd that came with my crackberry, so unless it is damaged on the cd, I don't see how it can be corrupted.
Help, please. I just want to put my music on my phone.
I take this, I was not quite awake this morning, and I forgot that you can access your press card while the blackberry is connected to the PC.
I unplugged and all is well. So, even if I can't get Roxio Media Manager to work, I discovered a workaround solution. Build the list of playback in Windows Media Player and save it. BlackBerry Media Sync allows you to synchronize the playlist that you created. It works as well. You will always be able to use the DRMs, however.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager connects to my device
The Blackberry Desktop Manager can connect to my Curve 8330; However, I don't seem to be able to get the Roxio Media Manager to connect. He asks the password device, even as the Desktop Manager, but the Media Manager keeps asking for my password. Any help would be appreciated.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager c ++ runtime errors
Hello
I knew this may have been posted before, but we have tried all the solutions for other messages about this problem on this forum and on several other forums found by searching on google.
Lenovo Thinkpad x 200-Windows XP - Manager of office 4.3 to 4.7 (all tested!)
All versions to bring up the same error when executing media manager in the Start Menu and via Desktop Manager.
We get the Roxio Media Manager start screen, then the runtime error window appears (see below)
We tried installed all versions (4.3, 4.5, 4.6, & 4.7) on 3 different computers and they all bring up the same error.
Thank you
Craig
You are welcome
I get rid of Roxio Media Manager on my computer, and there is no headache more.
I transfer music, photos and videos from and to the blackberry micro sd card as I do with a flash drive.
It is simple and very practical.

BlackBerry smartphones, what's the problem with Roxio Media Manager?
I bought my first Black Friday Blackberry 8310 Curve. For some reason the Blackberry Desktop Manager installed and works quite well. However, when I open the screen Roxio Media Manager freezes and it does not even show my device. I have uninstalled cleanly and re-installed more than a dozen times and cannot operate. Also, we went and bought a graphics update and the sound card and installed them. The Roxio media manager ALWAYS freezes up and we must stop it.
I do a lot of Paintshop Pro and have these programs as well as other graphic software. I wonder if it's a software conflict? I don't see one. Or if the Roxio is a point of sale as someone posted before.
I spent hours and hours reading all I can on this subject and not online can not find an answer to anywhere. The main reason I want the Media Manager, is I want to make my own ringtones... that's all! The rest I can do without it. The BB Media Manager has the ability to make ringtones?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Michelle

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager installation problem
My Desktop Manager recently updated itself to the version 5. Twelve Shortlly I started to get the error messages from the Windows Installer tries to configure Roxio Media Manager and do not find a roxio Media Manager individual .msi file. It is a very insistent installation routine because no amount of 'Cancel' or the restart doesn't eliminate the process. Very frustrating. The error message is asking me to specify a different path to the folder containing the installation package, but it is not found by my browing. Maybe it's somewhere else?
What should I do or cancel this installation to complete it? Really, I don't like whatever it is, because I don't use a lot of Media Manager. Thanks in advance for your help.
If you do not use the Media Manager, I suggest to remove it completely. From my experience it caused problems with the Desktop Manager software. I would uninstall the Desktop Manager. Uninstall Blackberry Destkop Manager (DTM) using this guide: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02206
Then, download Blackberry Desktop Manager here (without Media Manager): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Install it and I hope that everything works well again. Be sure to reconfigure your synchronization settings if you use them.
See you soon,.

I contacted ROXIO and they referred me to a Microsoft site. BUT: my operational system is in Spanish, and the site was for a system in English. Not to mention that it is no longer available in its current version.

This seems to be related to the BlackBerry software. If you installed a software of BB and have the CD of BB, point the installation program from Roxio Media Manager.msi on the CD. If the file on the CD is the correct version, looking for the installer, installation must fill out and then you can uninstall things in the usual way.
Sometimes, however, the CD has the wrong version. Read this thread long enough to see how others have dealt with this problem: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-6122_102-346285.html
If you read the thread and see references to Microsoft KB 290301, that the article USED TO have a link to the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility. Microsoft has decided to stop offering this utility because it seems sometimes 'cleaned' more that she was supposed to. In general, however, it is relatively safe, and it is still available here: http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html
If you don't want to use the MS utility, free Revo Uninstaller should work: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
