  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM Broadcast lacking feature (block)

I didn't know how to contact RIM support for this issue, but I think that MANY on THIS PLANET need RIM to invent a few Blocker to broadcast. (i.e. block annoying people on my bbm list who just can't stop spamming)

I don't delete them are an ideal subject. I want again to contact and be contacted by them. Talk to them does not work either.

RIM, PLEASE DO SOMETHING! It's just a BUTTON you add to make your customers satisfied and no irritated

All those in favour please COMMENT AND SUPPORT!

Nope to talk to them did not work. That they either were too busy with broadcast msgs silly (that in order to read what I asked not to do) OR they have forgotten everything simply because some of my friends/family have what is close to 70-100 bbm contacts.

Seriously, I think that RIM has not thought it carefully. Its getting on my nerves. I did not sign my contract for THIS.

lol, your friends are on edge, and it's the fault of the RIM.

My eggs were cooked hard this morning. I don't blame RIM for it too because I looked at my BlackBerry too long during their cooking. There is a certain amount of personal responsibility that you have in this area.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, deleting the files from music permanently

I've loaded about 3 000 songs on my Javelin and trimmed them up to about 1,000 of my absolute favorites. I tried to transfer to my computer in two ways... with Fund Manager and let XP do the work... but deleted music always comes again!

I tried a reset, reboot and everything I can think of doing the deletion of things go away, but it won't. Windows Media Player is on monitor only the new folder I created for Blackberry music, but my smartphone is quite smart to find all the stuff I was history.

My question: how the world can permanently delete you a file? I have checked the settings, but it can't know.

Thanks for any time you take to help out me.

If your music is on a media card, use Windows Explorer to view its contents and to view system and hidden files.

In each case, you will see a file named BBThumbs.dat. It's the indexing file, which contains information about the deleted files still. Just delete all the BBThumbs.dat files.

After unplugging the computer, when you enter the multimedia application, it will start again every 1000 remaining files from indexing. It may take some time but will end after a few minutes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones delete App World and it cannot recover. Bold 9930

It started yesterday when my app world was constantly freezing downloading an application. I read online to simply delete and reinstall the app world.

When deleted and try to reinstall, I got the error message "Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor."

The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing. »

I have no idea what it means. Try to look at the issue, by reading other peoples scenerios, I saw something I thought may have worked. Downgrade to OS 7.0.

I tried to do this through the Manager of office without result. I then looked in wiping the operating system of the device and reinstall. What does not work either and almost bricked my phone.

I am now back to OS 7.1 and always without the Blackberry World receives the same error message.
I tried battery pull several times, soft reset, reset hard, all I can think about.

    H E L P M E P L E A S E! I love my Blackberry, but it makes me to switch to another device.

    Hi @kimeri123

Can you try now and let me know if you're still having problems? Thank you!

  • BlackBerry smartphones delete backwards

On the old blackberry 10, hold the ALT key and delete enabled me to remove to the right for as long as I wanted to. With the Priv, by pressing the SHIFT and Delete only deletes a character to the right. Please this can be changed to the way my old BB10 worked? This is a very useful feature

Hi, thanks for this. With the shot, I can't delete despite trying. Looks like I'll have to accept this as a difference between the BB10 and Priv

  • BBM blackBerry Smartphones deleted by accident and can't get it back

I deleted the bbm by accident and now I can't reinstall it as its marked as being installed again on the world of blackberry,
Ive or off voltage of my phone, I tried to send me the download links and ive tried to find how to uninstall it on bb world but I cant find it?
    heeeelp

When you're App World go to My World and press the menu button and select refresh - this will refresh your list of installed applications and in theory it then you can reinstall BBM.

If you find that it is always installed, you sure you deleted? Would you rather hid the icon?  You can check this is go to your panel of all items, then press the menu key and select 'show all '.

If your BBM icon reappears, highlight the icon, press the menu key and be sure to 'Hide' is unchecked.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deleted photo recovery

I was clear a white Peak turned my phone off and this massive deletion started of my photos in my Album in August. Don't know what caused it. Is it possible to recover these photos? More than 200 photos have been deleted.

You get a free PC program called zero assumption recover, google and install it on your PC.

Then, connect your BlackBerry to your PC and run ZAR on your media card to retrieve deleted files.

If photos have been saved in the memory of your media on the device, I don't know if ZAR to extract this suppressed memory space. Try it and see.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deletion mystery icon on the home screen

An icon appeared over one that shows the number of e-mails.  It's the #2 and one icon I don't know - maybe a small globe.  I can't get rid of this.  It may have something to do with a search I tried yesterday, was not successful and clicked on save the query.  I called the Blackberry line at T-Mobile, but the representative could not help.

I would like to know what it is and how to get rid of.

    Thank you.
