BlackBerry Smartphones DM media manager and video converter?
I read here that we could use the DM media manager to convert DVD for playback on the storm... I looked and that you do not see the option to perform this action... If possible, could someone explain how to do this?
Thanks in advance
Hello!
I use Cucusoft (converts DVD / movies to mp4 for ipod), but I think it was 39.95? (Something like that)
My kids have ipods, so that they are able to put the DVD / movies on those too. But it worked to put them on my Storm too! The video quality seems very good to me. In fact, very similar to the storm!
If I come across websites free conversion with good reviews, I'll certainly know you! For me, it was just a lot cheaper than this dang Itunes store!

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager doesn't work
So I installed the software that came with my blackberry curve 8330. I open the Desktop Manager and try to open the Media Manager and I get a popup that says the following:
[quote] The certificate file is missing or damaged. Please re - install. {[/ quote]}
And will not let me add music to my blackberry so I can listen to on the bus. This is a new installation of the software from the cd that came with my crackberry, so unless it is damaged on the cd, I don't see how it can be corrupted.
Help, please. I just want to put my music on my phone.
I take this, I was not quite awake this morning, and I forgot that you can access your press card while the blackberry is connected to the PC.
I unplugged and all is well. So, even if I can't get Roxio Media Manager to work, I discovered a workaround solution. Build the list of playback in Windows Media Player and save it. BlackBerry Media Sync allows you to synchronize the playlist that you created. It works as well. You will always be able to use the DRMs, however.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager installation problem
My Desktop Manager recently updated itself to the version 5. Twelve Shortlly I started to get the error messages from the Windows Installer tries to configure Roxio Media Manager and do not find a roxio Media Manager individual .msi file. It is a very insistent installation routine because no amount of 'Cancel' or the restart doesn't eliminate the process. Very frustrating. The error message is asking me to specify a different path to the folder containing the installation package, but it is not found by my browing. Maybe it's somewhere else?
What should I do or cancel this installation to complete it? Really, I don't like whatever it is, because I don't use a lot of Media Manager. Thanks in advance for your help.
If you do not use the Media Manager, I suggest to remove it completely. From my experience it caused problems with the Desktop Manager software. I would uninstall the Desktop Manager. Uninstall Blackberry Destkop Manager (DTM) using this guide: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02206
Then, download Blackberry Desktop Manager here (without Media Manager): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Install it and I hope that everything works well again. Be sure to reconfigure your synchronization settings if you use them.
See you soon,.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager c ++ runtime errors
Hello
I knew this may have been posted before, but we have tried all the solutions for other messages about this problem on this forum and on several other forums found by searching on google.
Lenovo Thinkpad x 200-Windows XP - Manager of office 4.3 to 4.7 (all tested!)
All versions to bring up the same error when executing media manager in the Start Menu and via Desktop Manager.
We get the Roxio Media Manager start screen, then the runtime error window appears (see below)
We tried installed all versions (4.3, 4.5, 4.6, & 4.7) on 3 different computers and they all bring up the same error.
Thank you
Craig
You are welcome
I get rid of Roxio Media Manager on my computer, and there is no headache more.
I transfer music, photos and videos from and to the blackberry micro sd card as I do with a flash drive.
It is simple and very practical.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager connects to my device
The Blackberry Desktop Manager can connect to my Curve 8330; However, I don't seem to be able to get the Roxio Media Manager to connect. He asks the password device, even as the Desktop Manager, but the Media Manager keeps asking for my password. Any help would be appreciated.
If you read the messages either as I have, you would never installed hd. It is very unstable and adds another point of failure to your PC.
most users use the drag-and-déposer method.
I'm glad you have work.
Make sure you have these options set in the STATE MEDIA:

Mass storage support

BlackBerry Smartphones bb Media Manager problem
whenever I go to my Media Manager that my BB never shows up as an option where to put music and other things, I click on the folder of blackberry, but it says turn on my media but its always on why? How can I fix it?
Ensure your mass storage is on and it should show up as an external drive when it is connected. Make drag & leave fall music wanting on your phone to the press card.

BlackBerry Smartphones Roxö Media Manager HELPPPPPPPP
I've been on one or two times before for help and you all were wonderful, so here I am again.
When I clicked on the media manager it would come with an error message Runtime was closing. Now I can't even open the media application. I use psynch to media of blackberry which someone suggested here for the music, this is the reason why I have problems. I tried to open it to transfer photos from my phone and now I turn... frustrated. I'm focused on technique, but only to a point. HELLP me please!
Suzanne
Okay, I'm still a bit confused, I'm sorry. I didn't use Roxio, I changed my settings on the map but how do I transfer pictures on now? Or do I have to understand that I must download Desktop Manager 5.0 without media manager to transfer as well as the parameters change?

BlackBerry smartphones to get pictures and videos on my phone...
I'm sure it's a pretty simple solution but I can't, for the life of me, find out! I took pictures and a few videos on the phone and now I need to get them the phone is off, but I can't figure out how to transfer them via the Desktop Manager or otherwise how am I supposed to get down them.
To access your media or the built-in memory card, connect your phone to your computer, open the desktop---> Media---> Media Manager Launch Manager. Activate the mode split at the top left and then click the folder just below. From here, you have an Explorer style interface, where you can copy / cut & paste files between your computer and your device (memory card or media).

BlackBerry Smartphones download Desktop Manager and reorganize the files for Pearl 8100
I have a Pearl 8100 and lost my CD of Office Manager and need to load it on my new laptop. Where can I download this? I tried a search here on this website, but I can't seem to narrow down what I need specifically.
Also, I was wondering if it was possible to move the files to, more precisely inside a folder on the desktop. For example, Brickbreaker and Messenger.
Thanks - beth

Problem with Media Manager and resolve blackBerry Smartphones
My old computer died and I bought an Acer Aspire one (mini laptop, a bit like a netbook) and the resolution is not sufficient to run the Media Manager. I need to be able to transfer files (specifically of word, excel and power point) to my Storm. Can I get the media manager? Or do I have to find another way to transfer files (and how I do that)?
Thank you
Hi and welcome to the forums!
You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:Card support ON
NONE encryption mode
(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol
WE support mass storage
Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO
Thank you

Hello
So, I have the blackberry storm 9500 for awhile now...
This morning the screen was black, but the keys and below the screen are light, the alarm went off, even managed to make a call...
tried to connect the phone to the computer to save the images and videos, and he says
"media services are not available."
You must activate the connected blackberry device mass storage mode to use this feature.
It may ask you to reconect your device. »
PS: I already took the batery out for awhile, when I turn it on again, back to the black screen
and I've never had a problem with opening the pic and vid on the pc before
the main problem for me is, is any way I can save my photo and videos? I don't have an external memory card
If it will be fixed, probably that I'm going to lose it all, right?
Please help me thanks
I am happy to say that I found a solution!
i ' v has downloaded the Desktop Manager software provided with my cell phone, to a half old broken laptop computer runing Windows XP, and this is
the images recovered, videos and even the music!
Sorry form my English, thank you for your help
