  I am struggling to find the right sequence to download an attachment.  I am trying to download a photo from an e-mail.  (actually three photos).  I guess that the destination must be my photo folder.

  Here is the sequence of what I do, please someone can tell me where I'm wrong?

  1. I opened the email and there are three attachments .jpg (90 to 126 K)

  2. I select the file and a menu appears, open attachment is highlighted.  I select the option which is the attachment to download.

  3. the next menu is select file/Media Card / Blackberry / pictures.  Below it is a folder that says upward, and that's where the blue highlight.  Under is a camera.  I guess I want the pictues to go in the pictures folder, but I can't select this folder.

  4. highlight to the top, and because it's the only thing that I can support on and it appers to start the download.  Then I get a message error "an unknown error has occurred."

  It's frustrating when simple things like this are so difficult.  What I am doing wrong?

  you have answered your own question, file/Media Card / Blackberry / pictures is where you save it.  It is the sd card

  I have a 8330.  I received and email with a video link in .3gp format and I can not open, save or see it.  Is this normal or should I do something I'm not?

  Well, my post said that the .3gp file can be read with a blackberry. Unfortunately, there are some inconsistencies in the Blackberry Curve user interface:

  • If you click on your browser on a .3gp file, you can view it or download it.
  • If you click on your media browser on a .3gp file (which is on your SD card, for example), you can watch.
  • If you have a message with an attached .3gp, you can not what either.

  I think you can try to convey the message to another email address and access with a webmail (like GMail).

  I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

  You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
  Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
  Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
  Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
  Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

  Card support ON

  NONE encryption mode

  (Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

  WE support mass storage

  There are alternatives - AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

  I did research on this issue for a few days. No online messages answering the question. It is not a problem of security settings, I almost active modules, my plugins are all updated. I use Storage and attachments download IE and Chrome. Anyone? Beuler?

  If anyone still has this problem, try signing on Yahoo and then signing back in.

  It worked for me.

• Firefox used to download all attachments from yahoo, all other downloads work email

  Basic function of download for firefox still works (I can download things), he used to work for the attachments in yahoo email, but now for the last 2 days I cannot download attachments from yahoo mail (used to have no problems with yahoo mail).   I'm unable to view attachments from email to my hotmail account. As I open them, I get the notification 'Go get the attachment' followed 'cannot display this attachment. I never had such problems with LG Optimus V. Also when I send the attachment to my gmail account, I have no problem to open it. For any help or suggestion is very much appretiated.

  Have you tried to contact the service you get webmail? This looks like a problem with a web server.
