  I don't understand this.  Something is really strange here.  I download the latest version of PC - Desktop Manager the Blackberry Playbook, which is Version 6.1.0.B38 and it is the name of the zip file download.  But the version that installs version 6.1.0.36.  As I watch it install, for a fraction of a second I see the correct version is the installation because there is more visible features, but right now, he goes back down to the latest version.

  Please try a hard reset: turn on, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.   Is someone can you please tell me what are the formats are used when you try to download videos on the phone.  Also if you know where you can download them.  I tried Limewire but the format wasn't compatible.

  I was able to use .3gp files and view them... You may be able to download some, but I converted with Xilisoft (http://www.xilisoft.com/video-converter.html) and it worked fine. Also check out stuff like orb.com to the flow of the House, or just download at m.youtube.com and discovers on the BB.

  You should be able to download appworld from www.blackberry.com/appworld is one where you navigate to?

  You can check this too.  While in the browser, press the menu key and go to Options.  In the Configuration of the browser, you should see a line "browser Identification".  Make sure that is set to "BlackBerry".

  I accidentally pressed the download button when I was looking at an app and have downloaded and it is now sitting in My World of App World section. It says "Ready to install", but I can't install it because I did not download it. How can I delete this file? When I've highlight it and click on the BlackBerry button, I do not get an option to remove this file - only help, show the memory bar, Log In, install, Application Switch and close. RIM forgot to add an option to remove? Is the only way to get rid of this file is now to insall and uninstall it?

  I don't think so. I think that as soon as you start the sequence to download/install you must perform in order and then uninstall the application.
