  I use Sprint and every time I miss a call, the Messages icon appears and doesn't go away until I opened the folder and open the message missed calls. This is incredibly annoying for me, because I usually just press send and see what I have missed calls. It does not erase the messages or the notification icon.

  I really don't need WhoCalled sent messages, the only reason why I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.

  Can someone help me clear this icon or change what is sent messages?

  Click the call log > Menu key > Options > Call Logging > select None.

  Try this-

  When your device is turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery. This do a reboot your device that addresses minor issues with the BlackBerry.

  Before I can get by email or phone on my BlackBerry, I must first click OK several times to dismiss the calendar to display notifications. Is there a way to disable these notifications?

  I use mainly my BlackBerry during the day, so accumulate calendar notifications. Then in the evening I want to check emails or make a quick call. I wake up the BlackBerry and am forced to click OK several times to remove all notifications of calendar before I can read an email or make a call. I would like to disable this function of "convenience".

  To turn off notifications, go to your calendar, press the menu key and choose Options. Select the calendar you want to disable. Change the option to display reminders to no. that will eliminate pop-up reminders on your BlackBerry for this calendar.  If you have reminders of several calendars, for each affected.

  I backed up my old curve 8520 and when I run the procedure of restoration for the 9810 everything is going well until 3003 messages... 10000 +.

  Then it shows "complete restoration...

  All of the data (contacts, SMS, etc.) have been restored well!

  Please give me a solution! I don't want to lose 6 months of emails... I'm going crazy!

  After a few attempts to remove messages and partial restoration I discovered the problem.

  I've had a few requests meeting which were regarded as messages, and probably they did not follow the format of the new 9810...

  Remove and that's it!

  Everything works fine!

  I have a Blackberry Curve 8900 and use Entourage 2008 on my Mac for notes, calendar, and contacts of sycning.  Everything seems to sync both ways very well - outside of calendar events created on the device.  They synchronize with Entourage.  In addition, the changes I make to an event on the blackberry is not updated in Entourage.

  I recently bought a Blackberry Storm 2, and I use Entourage 2008 and installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager. I had a few problems just getting up and running together. But now that's happening, everything seems to work fine schedule and even create events on the device. When I sync appear in Entourage, although they do not have a category.

  Have you checked iCal to see if they are be synchronized with the Entourage calendar in iCal? This may seem Basic, but have you checked the calendar section of the Blackberry Desktop Manager to ensure that the menu "add events created on the BlackBerry smartphone to" is set to the Entourage? I don't seem to have any other option, but I thought to ask anyway. Have you checked the advanced settings in the Blackberry Desktop Manager to synchronize all events?

  I create a calendar on the device event and had the address send using one different address other then the first email address for the device and for some reason any event do not synchronize. When I create a new event, however, the address to send it to the help is on the default.

  The only problem I seem to have is if I change the status of an event on the device (from busy free for example), he gets twice in the Entourage, but even in the event new status is still set to busy.
