  I have three calendars ICS (network) in lightning. All have offline support checked in the settings.

  ICS is a file format and are not really suitable for a network schedule. Apple cannot do anything more than read only works on their Ical calendars and for reading writing recommend CalDav. Horde maybe has a similar problem.

  Their web site, I noticed that they support CalDav. This is a calendar designed from scratch like this network protocol.

  I'm abandoned on the use of Yahoo Mail after 13 years.  I get expired and are having login problems and some of my messages have forwarded to my BlackBerry.  So I opted to use Gmail as my primary email provider and it has worked fine until now.

  I use the Outlook calendar on my phone and sync it with my Torch 9800 using the USB connection.  If I delete my Yahoo Mail as a sevice of default for the calendar, contacts and Messaing list and select Gmail as my default service how convert all my calendar and contacts with Gmail profile.  In fact, don't know if my list of contacts would be affected since I do not see the association from the list of contacts to my Yahoo Mail currently.   If I delete my Yahoo profile would be deleted my events or would they are transferred in the default calendar profile?  Or do I just sync it again with my vision and my events will be transferred to the Gmail profile after selecting the Gmail as my default service for the calendar and the contacts list.  I hope I explained this correctly.  I also have a profile on Facebook timeline showing birthday reminders, which I am trying to remove, but it is another problem.

  I want to do it right the first time and will not accidentally delete my events and contacts list.

  I think that you can solve this problem by Gmail, default service. Then in the calendar app, go to Options. On the screen, enter the letters M O V E. Who should move all the events of the calendar by default. It's been a while since I've done it, though.

  I added a new column to the table that contains thousands of records. and created the composite index with three columns (those newly added + two existing column)

  I added the new column col3 to TBL and created composit index (col1, col2, col3).

  Now for all the records in col3 is NULL. When I choose on this table, it takes too long...

  Hi please can anyone help because this problem is driving me crazy!  I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and inserted memory card.  All I want to do is upload my pictures from the phone to my PC: I downloaded the latest media sync software and when I connect the BB, 16 photos only upward - there is more than that - and these are the old photos that have already been "deleted."  The pictures which I am posting on the phone are nowhere to be seen!  GGGRRRRRRR...  I looked at the properties of the photos that I can't download and they are listed as/DeviceMemory/home/user/pictures/IMG00173--I tried to activate the USB in the menu memory and I just get these 16 old photos.  I looked at the device on my computer and I see these 16Photos blasted in the 'images' folder in the folder of blackberry, but when I open the 'camera' album is empty!  How is that possible?  I think there may be a ghost in the machine, and I will be find out soon as the * beep * thing will be projected against the wall and stamped on repeatedly.  Help, please...

  On your device, go and move all these photos to the media card.  Plug in the device, then drag them from the media card reader with the workstation.

• BlackBerry smartphones remove all entries from the calendar

  Hallo,

  I use a BB 8520 and want to delete all the entries in the calendar (default calendar). The option "replace all entrances to terminals" in DTsoftware does not work - I changed the calendar by default - and all the entries are addes to the pre-existin entries.

  Is there a way to delete all the entries in the calendar?  I had the storm and had a sync error Outlook.  Since then, I had a lot of duplicates.  Is there a way to erase everything?

  If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

  1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

  2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

  3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

  3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

  4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

  5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  I have a number of entries of the calendar that I can't remove, except one. I tried the 'standard' (reproduced below) procedure, which clears most of the entries, but not all. How can I remove those remaining mass. (I'm not generally weather the storm.)

  And while we're at it, does anyone have an idea of how they got there in the first place? They are dups of other events that have been deleted successfully.

• When I add a new event to the calendar, what I type is 'New event' when I press return. Why?

  When I add a new event to the calendar, I type the name of the event in the field, change the time, add notes, etc. When I press return, the new event indicates briefly on the calendar as what I typed, but most of the time, it is up to 'new event '. I tried to change my sequence of this type I and sometimes validate instead of return, but it doesn't seem to be a reason for this behavior. Also, it happens all the time, just most of the time.

  It's extremely frustrating because if I don't notice it right away, I don't know what was the event.

  Age of your device is not relevant. If your usage patterns consume a lot of resources, it's the situation. But I have no way of knowing what your habits are, so I can't guide you.   It is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance.   Bb of the user is able to receive and send e-mail, his only problem sync read and unread.

  tried deactivating and activating Wireles reconciliation, return the directory service, made sure lotus notes read / settings and bb server access to the mail file, everthing seems to be OK. but the problem is still there.

  In my case, / unread table was missing from the database of the user. It was too late to do it from the backup.

  After checking with the user, so I deleted the BB server with its profile and State db user.

  Then added the user again as a new user and it worked very well.

  When I sync with Desktop Manager, calendar entries in the device are not recognized, and as a result, it attempts to load all meetings to Outlook again.  How to eliminate double entry?

  The fastest solution is to WIPE the device and then re-sync.  Of course if you also have a wireless sync turned on and then continue to use the Desktop Manager software via USB, that cause you too might some problems.  Unfortunately, that's the quickest short to delete one by one in your email contacts software.  It would be well if there was a VB Script there would be delete duplicate, but there still should be very clever, because many users may have duplicate entries in it contacts.
