Can someone tell me how to recover my files from photo to be uh "not hidden?

THANKS A MILLION

Go to Menu---Media---Menu---Explore---Pictures---Menu---Show hidden. The hidden pictures will appear in a color faded, to view it definitely select/highlight it then press menu, properties and then uncheck the 'hidden '.

If you have problems telling me I can send screenshots.

  • Pictures of the blackBerry Smartphones save to file "images".

    BB 8520
My blackberry has recently stopped saving images in the folder "images", instead, they are only saved as files > shirts > Media Card > BlackBerry > photos. Have not been able to figure how to get it with images automatically saved in the pictures folder. Any help much appreciated!

my photos are stored on my media card, and I can see when I go to the photo gallery. I suggest you to do two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

    Soft reboot:
    1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
    -Alt
    -Right shift
    -Remove
    (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

    Hard reboot:
    (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
    (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
    (3) replace the battery
    (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

Please tell us if it works for you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones import pictures from my camera on my computer

    Hello world

I had my 9630 Tour for years and never had a problem with importing photos until yesterday. I can see the pictures I want to import on my phone but when I connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software, they do not appear in the 'Images' under 'Media Sync' tab I get the following message: "there no pictures to import from your device.

Also, when I connect the USB cable from the phone of the tour, I also get this message, "do you want to turn on mass storage Mode? You will not be able to access some media files in this mode"this is the first time I've seen this message.

One last point, I went to Wal-Mart on Sunday (MARCH 24) and my card micro in their machine, printed a photo. This is where I believe my problem started because it seems that the Desktop software can read the micro card more. Can someone out there get me back to the point where I can import my photos using the BlackBerry Desktop Software? Also, is there a peripheral USB type out there that I can insert my micro card in and download my pictures until I solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    1Lonewolf

Hello and welcome to the community!

I can't tell you why Desktop software stopped working for you... I personally never use for it at all. On the contrary, I use mass storage Mode, which allows me to treat my BB as a USB (2 readers, if there is a media card in the BB) on my Windows computer... allowing me to drag and drop all the files I want to/from the BB in any way I choose.

If you want to pursue that, see:

There are several types of readers of SD USB card for computers. Some are great devices, installed internally in the PC. Others are an adapter with USB plug at one end and a slot for SD card on the other. And there are many variations between the two. You should do when shopping for a device of SD USB card reader and choose the one that fits your needs of capacity and price.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, deleting the files from music permanently

I've loaded about 3 000 songs on my Javelin and trimmed them up to about 1,000 of my absolute favorites. I tried to transfer to my computer in two ways... with Fund Manager and let XP do the work... but deleted music always comes again!

I tried a reset, reboot and everything I can think of doing the deletion of things go away, but it won't. Windows Media Player is on monitor only the new folder I created for Blackberry music, but my smartphone is quite smart to find all the stuff I was history.

My question: how the world can permanently delete you a file? I have checked the settings, but it can't know.

Thanks for any time you take to help out me.

If your music is on a media card, use Windows Explorer to view its contents and to view system and hidden files.

In each case, you will see a file named BBThumbs.dat. It's the indexing file, which contains information about the deleted files still. Just delete all the BBThumbs.dat files.

After unplugging the computer, when you enter the multimedia application, it will start again every 1000 remaining files from indexing. It may take some time but will end after a few minutes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones download attachments - file selection

I am struggling to find the right sequence to download an attachment.  I am trying to download a photo from an e-mail.  (actually three photos).  I guess that the destination must be my photo folder.

Here is the sequence of what I do, please someone can tell me where I'm wrong?

    1. I opened the email and there are three attachments .jpg (90 to 126 K)

    2. I select the file and a menu appears, open attachment is highlighted.  I select the option which is the attachment to download.

    3. the next menu is select file/Media Card / Blackberry / pictures.  Below it is a folder that says upward, and that's where the blue highlight.  Under is a camera.  I guess I want the pictues to go in the pictures folder, but I can't select this folder.

    4. highlight to the top, and because it's the only thing that I can support on and it appers to start the download.  Then I get a message error "an unknown error has occurred."

It's frustrating when simple things like this are so difficult.  What I am doing wrong?

  • Torch 9800 blackBerry smartphone screen background file

I have a question (I hope) simple to torch fellow users and experts...

Where the hell is the folder wallpapers located on the device, and how to it?

I downloaded a few wallpapers of torch, but they appear in my "picture library.  I have a few wallpapers from the torch by default, and they are classified under 'Wallpapers '.  I wish I could move the wallpapers uploaded into this folder, as I am * beep *-retention on the Organization thing... LOL it is possible to do?  When I try to access the torch through USB key, I can't find the "Wallpapers" folder anywhere.

    Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?  Bueller? (Ferris)

Otherwise, if I can move these wallpapers on the device, in a record of different wallpapers on the card instead, which would work for me as well.

I found the wallpaper folder... The latter is hidden, but if you use the BB file manager, you can access this system > user > samples.  Demo videos are here as well, if you can try to get rid of EM, if you are in need of more memory.

I knew that I would do in the 'Pictures' folder (or picture library) by default, all subfolders are not themselves as a subfolder at all.  So say if I made a folder "my wallpaper" in the pictures folder, any time I browse through photos, he would list the file as a separate seen through the media on the torch, even though she is technically a subfolder in a window of Windows Explorer (via USB connection).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones opening media files

Using the BlackBerry Media Manager I transferred a number of audio files for my BlackBerry Curve. However, I don't seem to be able to play them. I did the following: during the transfer, I chose the conversion proposed for optimal playback. When I view the files on my BlackBerry (adding them as an attachment to an e-mail), I see that they are found on my press card and have the .m4a format, similar to other files that I can play. Mass storage mode (never used yet) my pocket computer is not connected to my computer. Also, I had a number of songs (albums) on my handheld I used to be able to access but cannot anymore, even if I see that they are still on my press card. Any suggestions?

After the download of several multimedia files on your Blackberry, sometimes you have to do a reset. It is done to remove the battery while the blackberry is in place, wait a bit, then plug it back. Your Blackberry will start up (can take up to a few minutes), then see if your files are better.
