BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail, Aol, Google, Yahoo, etc - which is best

I am a new user and my emails are currently redirected to my hotmail account. The shift is more than 1 hour (it's near real time). Can someone tell me how to speed up. Is - this to change my provider of messaging or I have to grin and bear.

Thank you

Ed

Hotmail has always been the case? With POP accounts, it is not a real-time delivery. Emails are supposed to be questioned every 15 minutes. With IMAP (GMAIL) accounts, this is an almost instant delivery.

You can try to delete and add the account Hotmail, or return your service books to see if this solves the problem. You can always try gmail to see if you like it. Another advantage, if you have a Gmail account is using Google Sync. To sync your BlackBerry Contacts and calendar with your gmail account. Can read more about that here:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail w/BIS is not sync when using Windows Live Messenger

    Hello

I've got BES both BIS working in my BlackBerry. BES has the email that I use at work. BIS has configured my Hotmail account. Both work fine, but when I tried to use Windows Live Messenger in my BlackBerry I realized that the emails of Hotmail stopped coming.

So far, that's what I got:

If I connect to Windows Live Messenger from my BlackBerry, from a Windows computer, or within Hotmail (inside the web browser) I no longer receive mail. Everything I do from my BlackBerry still affects my Hotmail account (mark an e-mail as read, delete or sending an e-mail using my Hotmail account).

When I sign out of Windows Live Messenger and you receive another email, all delays and the new email come to my BlackBerry and guard mail very well until I connect to Windows Live Messenger again. I do not receive the emails delayed until I get a new once the connection from Windows Live Messenger.

Already tried battery pull, remove and re-add the account of Hotmail in BIS and uninstall and reinstallation of Windows Live Messenger.

Please, I know already all the love that some people have on other services of e-mail webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), which helps not at all.

I searched the web and I have nothing, I hope someone can help me.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I think that maybe this KB discusses what happens:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail on BB storm

I want to configure my hotmail on my BB storm email, but I wanted to know if I have to pay extra? I already have my yahoo one hanging on my BB storm, I heard that you will have to pay a fee to use hotmail on the BB storm, and I want to just make sure

    Thank you

Candy, no. Pushing your Hotmail account to (all) BlackBerry is the same process as easy as to your Yahoo mail account for the BlackBerry, no cost other than your data Plan with your carrier, which is looks like you already have. You can have up to 10 BIS accounts on your BlackBerry for the cost you pay for your data Plan for you carrier.

IN THE PAST, Hotmail users upgrade their Hotmail accounts to HotMail accounts, in order to have available on the BB, but this is no longer the case. Maybe read you some old posts mentioning that.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get Yahoo to work...

Can someone please help me get on Yahoo.  When I go on Yahoo.com, the site returns but tabs for mail, weather, etc. do not work.  I don't know what I did differently last night, but I came across a Web of Yahoo site that appeared to be meant for PDA / smartphones, but now I can't figure out how to get there again.  I was able to access all my mail, check the weather, read news, etc. etc.  Of course, I'd appreciate any help on this.

  • BlackBerry smartphones why no Google mail more access since through my laptop?

I've just set up my google account (with no problems) on my new "Blackberry"BOLD"" with which I am very satisfied. Unfortunately since having done this, whenever I now try to access my 'google' account of my
laptop, the "Page load error" message keeps coming, and no matter what I do, I can't in my mail box through my laptop (although access to the account via the "BOLD" works great however!). I'm sure I should be able to access the account of laptop and "BOLD"? What has gone wrong?
    Can someone please help?

    It's stange error.

To access your emails without a browser, you can use Mozilla Thunderbird.

You can get it here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/

There are just about the easy installation program account in the application. It also has a native support for Google mail accounts.

  • BlackBerry smartphones 'connection to the Yahoo server lost '.

I'm a recent user of a Pearl 8100 Blackebrry. I want to synchronize my smart phone with a calendar that I can access it from any computer using Thunderbird and Lightning. I intend to use my Yahoo calendar, but I'm having a hard time to synchronize with my BB.

I installed the BB desktop software 4.7, which allows me to sync Yahoo calendar. Yahoo, however, requires to switch to the Yahoo! News schedule when I want to synchronize my (lightning) programs for them. But when syncing for new Yahoo with my BB calendar, I get the error message "Lost connection to the Yahoo Server" and nothing is exchanged. When returning to the old system of Yahoo calendar, there is no problem, except my programs cannot sync with Yahoo calendar.

Someone at - there a solution to this?

    Kind regards

    Pete

I do not know. But if I were you, I would do the links differently.

My main calendar would be on Yahoo! Calendar.
I would use Mozilla Thunderbird + Lightling to connect to my desktop PC Yahoo! agenda.

and in the meantime, I'd install the Yahoo! Go app on my BlackBerry, that would allow me to have near real-time with OTA synchronization (over the air: which means using the EDGE/3D/CDMA phone data connection).

  • Changes to my account blackBerry Smartphones Hotmail appeared is not on my BB Curve

Hello. My Blackberry Curve is connected to my hotmail ([email protected]) account.  The email account and the Blackberry seems to reconcile well except for the changes I made to the e-mail account on my PC.  These changes are not compatible with the Blackberry.

So, if I read or delete emails from the BB, this shows up on the PC.  But if I read or delete the e-mails on the PC, it is not on the phone.  The BB does, however, receive emails from this account.

I also have another account connected e-mail (Outlook) which works perfectly.

I searched in the options and can't find anything that looks like it will solve the problem.

Can someone help this newbie to BB?  Even I would like to know if this has you puzzled experts.

    Thank you very much

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not use Yahoo IM

    Hello world

My phone did not come with Yahoo Messenger, curiously.  I'm aware, anyway!  First phone I had that came with the 3 main applications IM already installed.  But anyway... I downloaded the app from mobile.blackberry.com.

Now when I go to connect to instant Yahoo messaging, it tells me "Service is not enabled for this handheld."  What is c?  And yes I have a Blackberry data plan on this phone.  I send and receive pins, text messages, use the blackberry messaging, etc.  Why I have so much difficulty with Yahoo Instant Messaging?  I already rebooted my phone.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I think that it explains.  How AT & T carppy!  Thank you Singh to find the answer.  At least I know that I don't do something wrong now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail has stopped working

I added my hotmail account successfully and then had to remove it to work on adding an address from outlook.  I added the hotmail account a second time and received the Activation Server email saying congratulations you will begin to receive emails from hotmail in 20 minutes and it never worked.  I deleted the account and put in place again, but same problem.  I did it using the bberry as well as the Web site.  Argh!  Any ideas?  In addition, turned off and removed the battery and it started again.  Still nothing.

The fixed.  I logged into hotmail account settings and changed my password.  Updated the password on my blackberry and it worked.  Completely weird, but it worked.  Yay.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones combine AOL by hand

    Afternoon,

My AOL is set up to automatically reconcile at certain intervals. I have reduced, and I think it's because the phone constantly trying to reconcile my AOL account. I just opted for my first BlackBerry (storm) to a Motorola Q9. I noticed something similar on the Q9 and could tell him only to reconcile my AOL account on my order.

I searched through all the menus and have yet to find this as an option on the storm. Anyone know if this is an option and if so, how I would invoke the adjustment to reconcile only when I choose?

I noticed that a lot of positions for the life of the battery, in my experience, this could be the culprit. After scanning positions (quickly) I didn't see anyone mention specifically.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Nick

    There is no such option.

And quite honestly, given that mail messages / 'push' unit, the handset makes very little amount to retrieve mail. However, it is something that you can't disengage.

You will need to examine other issues battery, like an active browser in the background eater, a request or mapping on break Media Player.

Here's some good advice from loading, please read and you will see that many of them will be applicable to you.
