BlackBerry Smartphones how lock missing Blackberry

My blackberry was absent yesterday PIN is one does not 2557BEC8 someone can how to locate my lack on BIS, 8320, or put then one who stole it can't use the phone... and I already have contact my mobile phone seller, they say to ask help from this forum coz they can't stop...

Hello

Access your site from the BIS and kill all e-mail accounts.

Send service directories.

If you know the NGE still better.

(if you still have the ESN box is printed on it).

Call the carrier and give them two numbers and make sure they isolate it and your sim card from your account.

Ask the carrier if they report stolen BB PIN, they are unique, but I don't know what the carrier has done with her.

Obtain a report on insurance policy. That's all I know to do. If all goes well, other will have more information.

That good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how lock the screen during a call?

Is it possible, a third-party application perhaps, to lock the screen on my Storm during a phone call? Sometimes I have to Secretary for a while and cradle of the phone on my shoulder. During these times, I either end up the person I'm talking inhibition or try to dial a number at random my contacts inadvertently. I've heard from a third-party application that is supposed to lock the screen during calls, and I'm willing to bend on this if someone can make me pointed in the right direction, however, I would like to know if there is a setting on the phone itself which can be manipulated to prevent face composition.

In advance, thank you to all who replied.

Absolutely, see TalkLock or StormLock to this end, both work very well.

Hi and welcome to the forums. I'm not sure that I fully understand what you are looking for in what concerns your BB to lock. If you tried to set a password, and it was not what you liked? You can quickly lock your device in now the * key. If you have a password enabled, you can type on it to unlock everything. If you have a case with a magnet nearby, you can set your device to lock onto Holster. A password is needed to unlock after waking from sleep. Your device is paused when the case or when you press mute. I hope that helped. I would like to know if I was far away or if you have any other questions.

  • BlackBerry Torch 9810 Smartphones: how to "lock" screen when not in use

    Hi all.
New Blackberry owner here.  I don't see anywhere in the manual (or parameters) how to "lock" screen when you use do not (so as to not buttons pushed when I put it in my pocket). I prefer not having to wait at the minimum 10 seconds for the screen to turn off - and even in this case, I do not know how to walk AWAY from it.  A lot of 'butt dialing' and launch apps when I don't want him!
Please let me know how manually to "lock" screen.
    Thank you

If I remember, it has a lock button on the top of the unit.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how do I know if my PIN is free or locked?

I bought a used unlocked blackberry, I use it only as a phone right now

I not have data on it but will be "hanging upwards" to data complete blackberry in a few months when I return a book BB.

How can I find out if the PIN on this one is locked or free?

Right now I can still return it to the seller if there is a problem, but in a month if I try to connect it and can't, I'll be out of luck.

The guy gave me the receipt original and said it was never connected, but I want to be sure.  I tried to contact my provider (Fido), but the guy knew nothing about a PIN code.

    Thank you

Are you referring to make sure your phone is unlocked? If so, if the phone is a Rogers phone, and you currently have it work on Fido, it is an unlocked phone. Unlocking the phone is required to use the phone on any other carrier.

Now then, if you want to make sure that the STEM was not put to the index as a stolen phone, thereby ensuring that your BlackBerry data will work later in time, the easiest way would be to contact the original wireless services provider (one that displays on the splash screen when the phone starts first). You can then explain to them that you bought the used device and I want to just make sure that the phone is not stolen and so on the blacklist, at their end. They should be able to find this information quite easily. Note: you will need to probably the device IMEI, which is located behind the battery or you can also get it by going to Options > device > device and state information.

    I hope that info helps!

Set the password and the amount time to before the device itself is locked.

While trying to move icons the my BB 8830 I accidentally deleted the lock of the device icon.  Can someone tell me how I can restore this icon?

It is unlikely that you deleted, possible, but probably just hidden or moved into a folder.

    1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
    2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, and
If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I recommend that you remove, then reinstall BBM:

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on the BlackBerry smartphone

To reinstall, please see this KB:

    • KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone

Otherwise, you would probably look much more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, etc..

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how I respond to e-mail

If someone sends me an email and I hit the reply button, I'm allowed to type my response, but the only choice I have when I want to send, "Save draft" or DELETE.  When I read the FAQ, it indicated that I must go to the individual name who sent me email, hit dial and then send.   Before resetting and updated my BB software, I could answer without problem.  Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?   Chuck

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.
