  In fact, you can not get rid of the selection of the company... instead, you need good data plan in order to add Personal Internet/e-mail to the wizard. Unless you're on BES/corporate, you should stay completely away all of the selections business of all kinds.

  With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

  When I bought my Blackberry Torch 9800 (2 years), I managed (somehow) add text by giving my name, my 2 companies Web sites & so that it appears at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail.  At the same time, I've removed the text that says something like "message sent from my Blackberry".

  Now I need to change the message (& also want to restore it's my Blackberry because it is what explains a brief answer when necessary.)

  I don't think that I did all the settings on the mobile.  I think that this has been done "somehow" on my main computer.

  Any ideas?

  Hello. Yes, you can turn off your email account. In the main menu go to e-mail settings. The email accounts you have at the top. Highlight the one you want to turn off and display the menu. Select the filter option. Then you can dissable the option to receive; Tap Save. You will be asked to enter the password for the accounts. When you want to receive again, just reverse the process.   If you look at the mail in the Mail application, you can use the following to adjust your sync settings.

  To change your sync settings

  1. On start, tap or click Mail.
  2. Enter in the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
     (If you use a mouse, point to the upper right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down, then clickSettings).
  3. Press or click accounts.
  4. Press or click the account you want.

  Adjust these settings:

  • How many times your email Mail Downloads (for action as they arrive at all hours, or manually).
  • Back to how to pass messages (as short as three days at any time).
  • What content you want to downloaded (e-mail, calendar, contacts).

  My company changed email providers. I can update the new name of mail server but not the port. Now, I can't validate my e-mail account.

  It appears on the BB, you do not need to change the port number, just the name of the e-mail server. Thank you!

  I have two email from business enterprise server and a personal email account (bellsouth.net), Setup on my 9300.  The business enterprise e-mail and my phone log message under my regular icon "messages".  Personal messaging appears under the normal message icon and a 2nd message (envelope with a small globe) icon.

  I want to:

  1. keep my business and personal email accounts completely separated under different icons.

  2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

  3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

  Open your folder Messages > Options > settings for the Inbox and you will see boxes letters to include in your main folder, and those who separate from your main folder.

  Is not possible. E-mail BlackBerry of RIM's push and pull not. You cannot set a schedule or do it manually.

  You talk about your profiles icon? Depending on your BB... try the following:

  If you have a wheel... Press your alt key and click on the wheel at the same time. You should have a choice to show all

  If you have a trackball... simply click on your menu to the left of the trackball button and you should have an option to show all the.

  Highlight the contact (do not click on or open it) > Menu > Contact Info and change or add what you want to call them.

  What you see is what this contact is entered as their name, that they wanted to see you.

  I wanted to give my voicemail number to the 'Q' key on my 9630 new.  I must have done something wrong because in the list speed dial 'Q' is now show "Edit profile on vibrate only."  I can't figure how to get rid of it and assign my voicemail number.

  Second question: I've been able to assign my voicemail to another key number.  When I scroll down to move it to 'Q' it will not allow me to do.  He's of 'R' to 'P' allow me to put it on the line for "Q".

  Third related question: so I decided just to remove the new speed dial entries I've done.  The State of instructions help I should go to the phone and press "Menu".  Then choose "View speed dial list," and select a contact or phone number, and press the Menu key.  I did that, by emphasizing the number I added a touch of speed dial I now want to remove.  The instructions say that I must choose either 'Edit', 'Move' or 'delete '.  The problem is that these orders are not displayed when I press the Menu key.  The choice of menu only I give are 'Help', 'Call [that]', 'Application Switch' and 'close '.

  What I'm doing wrong here?  Thank you in advance for your help!

  Question 3: You probably highlight W - voicemail which is the only speed dial that can be called but not deleted. Highlight any other letter (other than A, Q or W), and then press DELETE.

  I searched the forums, but I don't see this issue raised by anyone...

  I download pictures to my Storm 2 from my computer using the BB Device Manager.

  Is it possible to change the display order of photos once they are downloaded on my Storm 2?

  The order of display on the computer does not appear to match how they appear on the Storm 2 and actually, it seems to have much to do with the name of file, either.

  I would appreciate any idea that someone has!
