  Hello. Yes, you can turn off your email account. In the main menu go to e-mail settings. The email accounts you have at the top. Highlight the one you want to turn off and display the menu. Select the filter option. Then you can dissable the option to receive; Tap Save. You will be asked to enter the password for the accounts. When you want to receive again, just reverse the process.   Recently, I had a problem with being able to modify my email settings, when I go to main menu > set up > email accounts it comes up with a user name and password.

  I guess the username to which he asked be an email adderess so I tried all mine and all my passwords in the box, it does not seem to accept one of them.  Also according to my service provider and my sisters blackberry this is not meant to request any type of username or password.

  I have three e-mail accounts: Googlemail, window live mail and my blackberry email account.

  Can you offer any help in this is at all.

  I recently switched from a Treo 755 p for Blackberry Tour 9630 when the Treo crashed. I was unable to transfer contacts, etc. of my Treo since he died, however, I synced my turn with BB Desktop Manager and got my Outlook comes into contact with back. My old memo categories Treo also got transferred even if I don't know how, since they are not in Outlook. When I try to add a new note that they do not appear in the list even if I clicked on save. I can add categories, but still cannot create the (save new memos). I can create new tasks. No idea why the new memos will not save?

  Open your Memo on the BlackBerry App.

  Press the Menu key > filters and uncheck those which may be checked.

  Now you see the ones you saved and did not appear in the list?

  Battery pull has no effect

  My question:

  BrickBreaker no longer records my games. As soon as I stopped (Yes, I save it) and back, the only option is 'new game '. "Curriculum vitae" is not an option. Nothing happened before. I did install something again or make changes to the system (that I know). Unfortunately, my computer died and took my backups with it, so I can't restore from a backup.

  I went the application loader to see if there were updates available, for anything on my BB, and none was.

  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this?

  I've found a workaround. Rather than close the game, I do a "switch" application This seems to make a pause the game, so I can go back later and continue to play.

• BlackBerry Smartphones how can I keep this email and separate personal e-mail?

  I have two email from business enterprise server and a personal email account (bellsouth.net), Setup on my 9300.  The business enterprise e-mail and my phone log message under my regular icon "messages".  Personal messaging appears under the normal message icon and a 2nd message (envelope with a small globe) icon.

  I want to:

  1. keep my business and personal email accounts completely separated under different icons.

  2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

  3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

  If anyone can help with this?

  Open your folder Messages > Options > settings for the Inbox and you will see boxes letters to include in your main folder, and those who separate from your main folder.

  Is not possible. E-mail BlackBerry of RIM's push and pull not. You cannot set a schedule or do it manually.

  With windows XP, I could save my emails to my word files.  I use MSN as my source of e-mail.  Windows 7 doesn't have a "SAVE AS" function.  I was facing and paste but that takes a lot of time compared to a touch of "SAVE AS".

  I'm surprised that it is not available in Windows 7.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

  1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
  2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
     • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
  3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

  There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

  Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

  Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

  The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

• BlackBerry Smartphones how can I change my signature & other texts on my outgoing emails sent from my mobile?

  When I bought my Blackberry Torch 9800 (2 years), I managed (somehow) add text by giving my name, my 2 companies Web sites & so that it appears at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail.  At the same time, I've removed the text that says something like "message sent from my Blackberry".

  Now I need to change the message (& also want to restore it's my Blackberry because it is what explains a brief answer when necessary.)

  I don't think that I did all the settings on the mobile.  I think that this has been done "somehow" on my main computer.

  Any ideas?
