  Just a quick question here - we have tested and found that a SIM card with a package iPhone/Android on it will work not in Blackberry (from least not the data part) but is there a way to prevent a card associated with a BES/BIS to work in other mobile phones data plan?  The use of data is the big problem for us.

  I know that this should be as simple to say to our users that they are not allowed to do more, but... they are users, and we had a few thugs go a little...

  Current BlackBerry smart phones have access to BIS or BES, which requires special data plans, that's why the iPhone/Android data plans do not work, but as far as I know, the same limitation does not exist the other way. The best would be to call your service provider (in your case, Bell?) and see if they have the possibility to apply a restriction to their end. It really is the best chance that you would have to block.

  Of course, if it's a pretty serious issue, the company's CEO and management team could make an offense that could lead to the interruption of a position that it can technically be considered theft of the assets of the company.

  To backup/store your messages using the Blackberry Desktop Manager software.

  1. Connect your device to the computer.
  2. Run the Blackberry Desktop Manager
  3. Select the "Backup and restore" icon on the application window
  4. Click on the "Advanced" button and select the information that must be kept.

  When the backup is complete - there is a file *.ipd on your computer created. It contains all the necessary information.

  Later you can write information from this file on the device blackberry with the same mechanism.

  At the moment there is no such standard application to read messages stored on computer PC.

  Try to find third-party applications for it.

  There are moments where you want to disable all the variables TUNE because when all are active, it is quite difficult to find the desired height variable and it may be lag sometimes.

  A quick way to access to * all * the Tune and the optimization variables is through the DISPLAY VARIABLE BROWSER or SHIFT + F7 menu item.

  The first picture shows the sample LPF_lumped project variables unsorted.

  Left-click on the column header will sort and pull all verified variables to the top where they can be easily selected.  A second click will reverse the sort.

  The second photo shows the columns sorted and ready for clearing.

  Please try this and see if it works for you.

  We use the Apex 4.2, recently a new requirement came for our standard header and footer banners to be attached to the page.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I searched the forum and have not found something that works so far.

  We use the 24 theme, currently our header and footers are defined on each page using the page "header text" level and

  fields 'footer text.  We use "a level tabs - no sidebar" page template.

  Currently our header and footer banners are scroll with the content of the page and now it is no longer acceptable.  Somehow need to fix these so there always visible at the top and bottom (similar to the toolbar) developer on wallpaper.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  You can create the header/footer within a region of html with a div. something like this:

  This is the footer text

  Where at the bottom: 0; It fixed to the bottom of the screen, as the developer tool bar Apex and top: 0; It fixes to the top of the screen.

  I would create this html area on page 0 so that you can display on all pages.

  If you want to get real fancy, create the region html page 0 with a div with a class name of "footer":

  (Once again, for the header to create a similar class with top: 0 ;))

  Then, create a dynamic action on the zero page that fires on the action "Resize" and runs the following javascript code:

  $(«__div.footer").css ({}

  left: ($(window) () .width / 2)-($("div.footer").width () / 2)

  });

  In this way the header/footer will be always centered.

  I understand that you like to limit the volume on your iPad so that it cannot be increased beyond a certain point. Fortunately Restrictions allows you to set a volume limit that requires an access code to remove.   1. open the browser.

  2. press the button on your blackberry.

  3. highlight and select 'history '.

  4. scroll to select the desired item or the same day in history and click on the blackberry button.

  5. highlight and select 'delete '.   The element that highlighted you will be gone.

  1. connect the bb Desktop Manager and select backup and restore
  2. click on the Advanced button when the list comes to the top on the right, click on each of the calendar options (one at a time), then choose clear. Once you have completed these steps, you will have a completely empty calendar on your phone.

  I have a BB Bold 9700. For some reason any, that it will not sync with my Audi more. He won't even stay. I go into the menu options and the configuration icon and turn it on.   I first try a hard reset, just take out your battery for about 5 seconds and could again. Usually, which solves a lot of problems. If it is still on, it may be a software problem, but is not certain.
