  • BlackBerry smartphones can not unlock 8330 curve

I use a security code on my BB Curve 8330.  I tried to synchronize media files today through the desktop (win XP) USB interface and has been invited to enter a password.  I used my security code and password account BB, neither worked.  I unplugged the USB cable and now cannot unlock the device by using the keyboard.  Twice I have re-set the device (battery removed), and we invited to enter the word "blackberry" I did.  When you are prompted to unlock the device, I try to enter my code, but instead of the usual displays of * (standard characters when you type a password), I see on the screen the characters I entered.  I use a 4-digit number for my unlock code, but when I get in I see the corresponding value of QWERTY (eg.  type '2' see 'e' on the screen)

Now I have 9 of 10 attempts and don't want to lose my data.  How can I get this think unblocked?

    1. While you still can, on your BlackBerry smartphone, change the password to something very simple, alpha characters only, not numbers, without capital letters. To do this before you lose all your data. Enter the incorrect password ten times will wipe your device of all data, contacts, calendar, etc.

    2. you probably think that you have a number or a capital letter in your password, and you don't really have.

for example, if you think your password is "w3rs", try alpha correspondent character and the PW would be "wers".

You never noticed the error, because the entry hidden on the password.

    Good luck.

  • Map of blackBerry Smartphones media more capacity for BB Curve 8330

I read the most capacity of support for BB 8330 curve is 8 GB but I was wondering if anyone had tried any bigger maps memory capacity with any success or failure. I'd love to put all my music on my phone, but 8 GB won't hold it. I have a LOT of music. I would need at least 16 GB to get to place for all my music, photos and videos. But before you run out and spend a lot of money on a larger map and I wanted to know if someone tried.

    Hello

Check the underside of the max media map suppot. MAX card support depends on the OS device not the model of the device.

  • Volume headset from blackBerry Smartphones and clarity on the curve

    Hi all

I've been a user of Razr for quite a while and am very close to having bought a BlackBerry Curve of Alltel. Before I do, I really have your contribution to this:

Because I spend a LOT of time making phone calls and work in a noisy environment, the earphone volume and clarity are VERY important to me. I'm not sure if the curve can give me the benefits of a great smartphone AND a great phone in terms of call quality.

Can you give me your opinion on the earphone volume and clarity compared to the Razr (I currently use V9) and also if you think that because the tip is located a little further from your mouth against a flip style phone that it might cause problems in a noisey environment. Ive had before cell phones, which were weak in terms of call quality and its REALLY frustrating.

Thanks again for you input. This will help me make the right decision!

    my best,

    Rick

of all the greatness that is my BB, the listener and the quality leaves much to be desired.  If the volume is too high, cracking bad.  I use it mainly in the car and have bluetooth through the stereo, so in the car, it is not a problem for me.

  • BlackBerry smartphones help on 9320 BB curve?

Hi all! I just bought my first BB yesterday. as mentioned earlier it's a curve 9320. And I have NO idea on how to work things. so, I would really appreciate the help.

First of all... I also have an ipod so I have itunes and a whole bunch of songs on my itunes playlist. so, I installed the BB desktop software and read that I could transfer my reading list. When I clicked on sync music it says this:

"Your media cannot be synchronized. Your support has storage of identification to media sync. "examine usind a media card with your device.

can someone please tell me a method step by step on how to add music? and find out about what a multimedia card is?

second of all... me and my brother both got the curve BB 9320. When I scanned it his bbm barcode, it worked then, said 'pending approval', but he did not get any warning about how to accept me as a contact on bbm. If someone could also please tell me a step by step on how to add AND method to accept contacts on bbm?

Thank you very much. This is my first blackberry, so everything is pretty confusing to me, I would be eternally grateful for the help!

    Thanks again

A card is a memory card that allows you to save files including pictures, music, etc.  You must use a card large enough to hold the amount of music that you want to synchronize.  It is a microSD card and the device supports up to. 32 GB card.  Be aware that you cannot transfer music from itunes.  Music protected by DRM will not ln any device other than an ipod.

Like bbm flr, you should make sure that at the. CJU have all two BlackBerry data plan with your carrier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones MIcroSD or MicroSDHC for 8800

Is there a clear/discovery judgment on if 8800 compatible MicroSDHC (in addition to MicroSD)?

This thread has said that the MicroSDHC is different from the MicroSD:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=8800&message.ID=200&query.ID=23800#m2...

This thread says they are both compatible:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=8300&message.ID=14603&query.ID=23536#...

Look at the ages on the responses and comments. The 88xx for media card devices support following the operating system that is loaded on the device:

BlackBerry Device Software media card size limit

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 - up to 2 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 - up to 4 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 - up to 4 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 - up to 8 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 - up to 8 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0.81 and above - up to 16 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 - up to 32 GB

Look at the options > about to determine your OS and what device will support you.

But to answer your question, Yes, it supports both the MicroSD and MicroSDHC and.

The designation HC means high capacity for these cards larger than 2 GB in size.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones expandable memory on a Curve 8310

I have a Blackberry curve that I received just before Christmas, I currently have a 4 GB micro SD in there but I was wondering what size I can go up to with this model. I can't seem to find any info on the description of the model and when I Googled it seems it be a difference of opinion with the other forums.

    Can anyone help?

MicroSD card format is not based on the model, it is based on the version of the device software.  Googling "blackberry microSD card size" revealed the following list of Blackberry KB article, Doc ID: KB05461.

    Up to 2 GB

    BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1

    Up to 4 GB

    Up to 4 GB

    BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0

    Up to 8 GB

  • Internet email blackBerry Smartphones account setup for the curve 9320

I bought this new Blackberry Curve 9320, but I'm not sure how to set up my Gmail account in it.

When I click on email accounts in the Setup program, it forces me to activate a business account which I have apparently not. When I click on email Account Management options Messages, a box appears and says "cannot open the e-mail setup application. Contact your wireless service provider. »

You need the BlackBerry data service on your line.  You will need to associate your BlackBerry with your data service account.  And the service books must be pushed and received by the device.  Sounds complicated but it isn't.   Talk to your service provider.  Make sure you have a regular signal good mobile network if you receive service books.   Then use the configuration of e-mail again and you will see the option to add the Internet e-mail.

The Blackberry Curve has the ability to view word, excel and adobe documents?

    Thank you

    Hello

Yes, if they are attached to an e-mail.
For those of you that is stored on your Blackberry, you must use a third-party software.

In addition, if you have a very recent portable device OS (4.3 or 4.5), there a software that can do the same thing as the third-party software.
