BlackBerry Smartphones MMS messages
I don't seem to be able to receive MMS Messages more, and I don't know why.
The sender sends me a MMS Message, but when I open it I see who sent it, but the rest of the message is empty.
Do I need to re-download the parameters, if so where can I get a?
Thank you
Hello!
I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):
(1) registry HRT
- KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
(2) remove and return Service directories
- KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
(3) restart to take batt
- Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.
Good luck!

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS issues (AT &; T) using Messenger
When I try to send MMS to my PRIVATE messages I get not "sent. key to try again". When someone sends me a MMS then I get on my PRIVATE "could not download size 32,00 KB, expiry mm/dd. Touch to download. I touch to download and get "not found message.
Have installed all the latest updates for the PRIV and Messenger. Bought the PRIV to shop.blackberry so it is unlocked. Have talked several times again both ATT and Blackberry, but no solution. Text messaging, web access and calls all work fine.
Either way, I can send photos and other MMS using WhatsApp, but want to use Messenger. Not had this problem with my old Z10.
Thank you very much for your suggestions.
Two options
You can go the menu test
-Go to your application of composition of phone and enter * #* #4636 #* #* and the Test menu will come
-Access phone information
-Scroll to the bottom for "SMSC: _. It is prob empty, click Refresh and it will fill.
This only temporarily fixed it for me. I ended up installing Textra and had no more problems with the MMS.

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS settings?
I have the Curve 3 G and can't send/revieve MMS.
I think that is due to the default settings, but I can't find the MMS settings anywhere. Normally it's just under the options menu, but when I go on my options, all he has are: sounds and ringtones, networks and connections, display, typing and entry, device, Call Management, security, accessibility, and third-party Applications.
I tried to find the MMS settings according to the present but can not. I hope that I just lack...
Thanks for the help.
You have a data plan blackberry active on your account rather than just a standard data plan carrier? Settings for MMS and other parameters of data are pushed to your phone when you have the correct data plan in place.
If you can't give your carrier a call.

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS Photos Upside Down?
I'm kind of at a loss on this. It seems that most, if not all of the photos I take with my phone and then send it using MMS or e-mail are received by beneficiaries in reverse. But when I send them they appear right at the top. What is the meaning I want the phone when I take pictures? The command buttons on the phone must be in a particular direction?
Thank you

Owner of blackberry newbie!
Craig, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.
When you take a photo on the Storm1 or 2, hold the device in landscape (cereal, no verticle) with the four buttons (red, green, menu) to the right and take the picture. In this way, your photos when sent, sent by MMS or Facebook, will still be standing.

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS do not work
So I jail broke a BB 9000. Original support was at & t, but I use it now for T-mobile. I can send and receive txt very well, but I can't send / receive MMS. Is there something I can do to fix that? I would appreciate help.
There is no such thing as a 'prison broke' BlackBerry. Perhaps mean you unlocked.
Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You need to be able to use the MMS feature.
Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.
Good luck.

Problem blackBerry Smartphones MMS, E-mail and Internet
I have a BB 8520 with at & t... problem I started Saturday at 13:15. I can receive calls and texts but not MMS and no INTERNET. Has spent more than 4 hours total of the phone with the support and at & t since 01:15 yesterday.
The phone goes to the EDGE (and can receive all) for GSM (can not do everything above)
It comes and goes (for most will) at home. Where I have never had any previous problems. He said it was a bad SIM card. (huh?) went to at & t store replaced card and the same thing...
any ideas?
I should have been more specific. You should try it in an another BlackBerry. Different data plans using other models of phone so it isn't really a good test.
The other thing to try is to use Desktop Manager to do a full backup of your BlackBerry. Then go to Options > Security Options > Security wipe (or general settings > touch menu > wipe Handheld) and wipe the unit of all it's data. You can leave the support box and 3rd party applications only (do not wipe).
Then try the camera again. See if it is still connected. If so, then you know that it is a setting on the device or corrupted data. Next, to restore your data and see if the problem returns.

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS DELIVERY/READ/RECOVERY
Hi all!!
I have a BB 9310 Curve.wirh Boost Mobile. When to send MMS, the receiver must be in an area of coverage (any business) seized can show delivered (box D) on the end of the sender? What means do they have to have a certain signal strength in order so he can be given and on the end of the sender?
They must be on the same network as the sender for playback / back (check R) show?
When I look at the situation report, why is it ALWAYS show my name as the extractor and NOT the person I send MMS to?
I always get the "D check" but never the 'check box R". So I don't know if they read or recovered it.
Is it a soft BB which will allow us to know if it was delivered, received, read, recovered?
Please advise!

Receipts must be in the coverage area or the MMS service that is configured by the service provider. Even if it is not in the coverage area, but if they return before the MMS (defined by the service provider) delivery expiration period, then they receive MMS.
They must be on the same network as the sender for playback / back (check R) show?
If your network provider supports interoperability for MMS among networks then they can get it in any case. Otherwise, must be in the same network.
When I look at the situation report, why is it ALWAYS show my name as the extractor and NOT the person I send MMS to?
I'm not clear about this. Where you see the status report?
I always get the "D check" but never the 'check box R". So I don't know if they read or recovered it.
In Settings MMS (text Message > Options) there are options to do not allow the sending of read receipts. If the recipient chooses that then you will not get read notifications (R).
Is it a soft BB which will allow us to know if it was delivered, received, read, recovered?
Please advise!

Images of blackBerry Smartphones MMS
Anyone who can help would be highly appreciated.
If I receive an MMS message with a photo, I only get the text and need to go to my PC to see the IMAGE.
I was at my supplier who gave me the following,
Profile name: Cytamms
Data bearer: GPRS
Access Point name: cytamobile
User name:
Password: pass
Authentication: normal
Gate way IP address: 212.031.096.161
Homepage:http://mmsc.cyta.com.cy
Connection securityff
I don't know what all this means and really not where to go or how to change these settings.
If anyone can help me set up, I'd appreciate it.
Concerning
David
Just to let people without that I was on my provider and apparently that is normal here in Cyprus. You can receive pictures internally without problem but Cytanet have no agreements with other networks so you receive only the text. We still have to go online to view photos from abroad.
Thanks anyway
David

BlackBerry Smartphones MMS icon missing
Evening,
I have a Sprint BB 8330 and I have received a few emails from photo, but can't do the links using the General Messages icon... And I asked my wife, who has one as well, has an icon for Messages MMS... Is it a default icon, or is that something that should be added?
Thank you
Jedi
Jedi, open your messages folder > Menu key > Options > General Options > Email and SMS Inbox = separate.
And save.
now, you will have a new folder separate from the SMS/MMS.

I hope that will move things again for you! If no, then you will probably need to perform a clean OS reload... something in the update of the operating system that you have done have been damaged.

and where is called fm radio?
For that matter, there is no software that can overcome the fact that your model does not have a receiver of FM radio inside. Only some models which, and so only they can get the FM radio service... see this:
Good luck!

Director of office of blackBerry Smartphones and Curve 8330
I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 for my curve. The installation went well, and after it backs up, the curve works correctly. I wonder, however, if the Desktop Manager saved e-mails, MMS and SMS messages in a file on my desktop that could be retrieved and read later if necessary. I heard this answered both ways so far: Yes it did, and no, it's not. No one knows what is the real answer?
Hi and welcome to the forums!
Well, two answers could be correct according to what you were doing. If you performed the backup, and then he did. If you have not run the backup, then it does not. If you performed the backup, then a file with an extension of the RPI could be saved to your PC - search your entire hard drive for *.ipd and see what you find. To make a backup, follow these instructions:

Good luck and let us know!

BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Messenger 5.01.41 help
Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I'll try to do this quickly. Since I installed the new BBM on my 9700 AT & T, it has a problem giving me my BBM. Sometimes it will not even make a sound alert, change the LED color or allow me to see the new message received unless I can get a glimpse into all my messages (e-mail, text SMS, MMS messages, etc.). Here is an example. I receive an alert by a BBM contact. I can see or see what they typed to me in all my messages, but once I try to view it by clicking on it, it won't be there. It will show only what I typed. So from there, I'll go into options in Blackberry Messenger and change any setting here that forces me to close by saving the new setting. Then when I go back to the message that I can't see, it will be displayed. I constantly have to do this just to show messages in my BBM contacts. Is there a setting that I've screwed up or y at - it something wrong with my Blackberry? I had to downgrade BBM was last updated and I don't want to do that, even when I don't have to. Should I have the new 6.0 OS for BBM to finally work for me? I have no idea, but it continues to be, more I plan to jump to an iphone. Thanks in advance for help and answers.
Hello
In this case, I recommend the BlackBerry smartphone and all 3rd party applications of wiping. To do this, we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry smartphone. Click the backup and restore button, and select Save. Note the location where the backup is saved will allow us to access later to restore the BlackBerry smart phone.
Once saved, please follow the link below to do a wipe of your BlackBerry smartphone security.

Test the BlackBerry smart phone and do a selective restore as described below.
