Thanks JohnC

Appworld can display different content depending on the country.

How ever, there are 4-5 different free themes that eradicates the problem of the status bar.

And there is not much those who are free, so you won't have any problems in research. Please try one by one.

I am currently using a theme called BBfreaks, and even if there is no trays.

Good luck!!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Navigation bar is minimized on my home screen

I managed my panels so the only that the poster is the Panel "All". However, when I go to my home screen, the 'All' Panel is is reduced to a minimum and I'm not able to see the 4 icons at the bottom of the home screen. If someone has had this problem and is anyone know how I can fix this (so I see the 4 icons at the bottom of the home screen)?

Only four icons?  How about if I show you how to display icons of four, eight, twelve, sixteen or twenty?  We'll see how it's done.

Place your finger on the word 'All' and drag it to the top of your screen until the desired number of the icons is present.  You can go anywhere between zero (where only the "very" is showing) up to twenty years, the maximum you will see without scrolling on-screen 9860.  Whatever number you choose must be the number that is always displayed when you switch on your phone in the future, but of course, you can change this number at any time using this same method.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar all THE apps in Lollipop

    Hello community,

I want the report to the screen, a bad feature of our Sony with press.

The navigation bar that contains the soft keys touch remains black in all applications (exception Album and other Sony apps). It smells very bad to see, so there is a solution, a mod, an app WITHOUT ROOT to have a transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar?

For example, in Chrome, will be perfect to have transparent navigation bar to see full web page complete!

    Thank you!

    Hi Alexdon,

I read the thread, but does not answer my question; It talks about the immersive mode, but not on the transparent navigation bar.

But, indeed, the immersive mode is better than the transparent bar, so I searched the web on and I found an interesting application, requiring no root, which allows the user hide the navigation bar in ALL the apps and home screens.

So, I don't know how Sony has not implemented this feature HIGH on his Xperia devices wih the latest firmware, because it is a feature that enhance value, functionality and beauty of its features...

The app is named on game of Google as a store GMD Immersive Mode full screen and his works fine (tested personally). The only bug is the keyboard, a bug of Android, where the navigation bar must be required to type and should not used with the camera app (but app inventory also have similar immersive mod).

I hope that this thread can help other users and, especially, can be read by employees of Sony to natively implement this update functionality in the future or when comes out the new home screens.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not receiving all emails

I receive only a few e-mails from my BB 9700 to my hotmail account, if I go online and log into my hotmail it is unopened emails that have not disappeared from my BB... anyone know why?

    Hello

There are a few possible reasons... of what you say, it seems that you use hotmail WebMail interface from your computer (as opposed to Outlook or some other desktop e-mail application, which, if used might complicate things), these KBs may apply to your situation:

    • KB13374 Delay in delivery of email to the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB15747 E-mail message delivery is delayed due to a Windows Live Hotmail account on the BlackBerry smartphone

I also suggest that the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones accidentally hidden all the music and photos from my phone?

So I got my blackberry to my computer and I tried to download pictures of her. There was some hidden that I couldn't so I decided to look around and see if I could find them. I have the blackberry from the folder right click after I selected the device from my computer. I then in properties and accidentally selected option check box to see only the hidden, or something to that. Now when I look on the device, all files are gone including camera, music photo, everything is not a single folder, listed in the unit when it is connected to my computer. And therefore all the photos on my camera, even if not connected to my computer and music are lost. Please help me to retrieve all my music and photos that I stupidly lost.

On your computer you need to make sure it's set to show hidden files.

    For Windows Vista and 7:

    For XP:

Once you have those who show themselves in Windows and then connect your device to the computer and undo what you did. You should see the files hidden in Windows now and you should be able to remove the checkbox for hidden.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones location of saved Text messages and downloads please as a desire to update the device software

I have a Blackberry 9300. I noticed while testing option 'restore' in Blackberry Desktop Software 'Saved messages' is grey so not able to restore and downloaded programs were not included in the backup course so I'm delaying the update of the OS 6 bundle OS 6 bundle 1879 2949 until I can get these issues resolved. First of all, where are my saved text messages would be they located on the SD card? Secondly, where are the downloaded applications and how would bring him back, I should reinstall individually or is there a better method I guess updating the software of the device would eliminate any reference to them? Thanks in advance, Marcia

To reinstall your applications, see this KB:

    • KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone

You may also need to clear the cache of application AppWorld:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I was also interested to read your information on the primary database of smartphone that made me wonder if it was at this location that the saved text messages were built. I mention this as I save some of my text messages I can consult at any time by selecting 'View the Messages stored' in the menu messages text, which lists the emails and text messages, that you saved.

The Interface of Messages is against the databases on the BB... Watch a saved messages can be as simple as a filter that is applied to display only those, but always from the same database. Also understand that the 'Messages' is a term Super set, with "email", "SMS", and other types of messages into subsets.

    willismc wrote:
Saving messages electronic elsewhere are not a problem but saved SMS backup does not seem to be an option, why would I need to check this feature before upgrading the device software. Appreciate your answer to that one.

As I said, I suspect saved SMS Messages to be a subset of the base of great set 'SMS Messages"together with the message 'saved' being a subset within this database.

I can't answer definitively for you because I've never had the problem you are experiencing. You may need to test to know for sure.

  • BlackBerry smartphones help me! I want to download free applications

    Hello

@sdgardne: I think majesty7232 means that, to have a PayPal account, he or she can buy application AppWorld are available. but this isn't the case.

    *****

@majesty7232 on why: well, ask your operator. They know better than us. For AppWorld to be available in a country, include an agreement by all businesses in this country that support the BlackBerry services, as well as the agreement of the Government (some applications cannot be authorized by a Socialist Republic, so all the apps that are already published on AppWorld should be reviewed by the Vietnamese Government first).

    *****

That being said, if you want to download applications for your BlackBerry smartphone, you can use several stores: Mobihand, Handango, GetJAR, BPlay, Handmark and of course AppWorld (the young of all stores!).

If you want your PlayBook Tablet applications, so it is different since the AppWorld is the single entry point to download apps on a PlayBook. You will need to wait for RIM to sell the PlayBook to the Viet Nam.

  • My Media Video blackBerry smartphones and music ALL OF A SUDDEN are not supported

I had my Style for 3 weeks and Yes, I have experienced the same issues that everyone else with a short battery life, internet speed and freezes, but what I really am becoming frustrated on is all of a sudden none of my material imported from the card memory or those integrated in the phone are going to play, I get a media type of message of the United Nations supported

is sounds like your memory card is damaged and must be in the format KB10527. I would even recommend that you perform a security erase or reload the operating system on the device using the Manager Office b/c you say that the appliance is cold.

or your device is a phone of the company located on a BES server and there is a strategy there that is causing the problem.

If anything else - try a reboot - traction battery - or hold down alt, shift to the right and led.

  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones turn off all while listening to music

I have a Blackberry Torch 9810. About a week or two ago, I updated my phone (cause really jumped to the top and update notification of insistent the * beep * seemed to be the only way for it to leave me alone). If I read correctly the version information, I've updated it's software Bundle 1997 (v 7.1.0.694 platform 5.1.0.507) 7.1. For a little while, everything was fine.

Then, while listening to the music while the comings and goings city, my song came end and nothing came after him. After several seconds of silence, I pulled out my phone and I tried so that he could play the next song (I put it usually just on shuffle and has no way for me to go through the rotation of set). But the entire phone was off. Push the power button failed to return. I flipped open the case back, pulled out the battery, checked the connections and jumped it in. A few seconds later the phone turned on and proceeded to go through the painfully slow loading screen. When I navigated to the section music in the media section, there is a green bar at the bottom of the screen and the number of songs was counted up to scratch, as if I had just it synchronized and set to new music.

Since then, this happened several times. Part of the time that the phone was in my pocket, but not always. It doesn't happen until the end of a song. The phone will not respond to any keys until the battery has been removed and then put back in place.

Therefore, I beg this community, what should I do to fix this? Help, please!

So, I followed the steps you provided for the first solution... except for the first. It is not evident how to remove any previously installed my PC operating system software. Thinking about it now, it seems that I should try control through the available through the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs tool. I just wanted to see if it was the right thing to do. If not, could you tell me how to remove the software?

It's exactly because BB OS packages are installed on the PC/Windows, they would be removed from the PC/Windows in the usual manner. In the normal list ("Add/Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a program", depending on your version of Windows), it would say something like «BlackBerry Device Software»... "and include in this line item, the model BB so number BB OS level it contains. Is it doesn't have these line items, then there is no packet of BB OS installed on the PC... and, for this really works, it must be a (the one you want to put on your BB). What you're aiming for is two positions that focus on the BB because programs installed Windows the list... one for the desktop software and another for the BB OS Package.

    Kallisti333 wrote:

All other operations don't lead to any sort of command prompt to install the operating system

Hmmm... interesting... it may be that the version you have installed on your PC (using the step 3 above) is the version already installed, in which case it could not make an offer. If this is the case, then the best way to 'force' to install for your BB is to work around the Desktop software and proceed directly to the CHARGER. EXE... you go to that via Windows Explorer or CMD/DOS window and then run it. You will find the LOADER. EXE in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

You can learn more about this procedure (LOADER. EXE, bypassing Desktop software) here:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.

It is also possible for the Software Desktop jump, if BB OS installed (to the PC) package does not exactly match the model number of the BB. It is also not known if there is no package of BB OS installed on the PC at all. In addition, he will jump if the operating system package came from another carrier and that the SELLER. XML files have not been eliminated.

The media card is reserved for 'media'... as you say. Photos, videos, music, files/documents.

You do not want to move your contacts to your SIM card, because the SIM card is designed to contain only a single name/one number and no email address, nothing else. Instead, make a backup of your old device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then restore this backup on your new device, if you had done a previous backup.

Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the old device? If Yes, when you sign in to your BlackBerryID for the new device, you can use your BlackBerry Protect data to restore on the new device.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, WHY do all these weird stuff when I turn it on?

    Hello

Right, I'm DESPERATELY need your help with my BB Bold 9800, because it's just the engine me bananas... so I BEG someone to help me

SO, here's the problem... every time it turns on it will continuously play an alert ring tone, vibrate and flash (sorry, I don't remember what it's called, but it is the small point on the phone itself which you can Set up for flash in color).  If I leave it alone, it stops eventually after having to put up with it sounds & vibrant 10 times (except for the light from the flash), UNLESS I have just to click on the 'Messages' - even though I have no texts - and he will then just stop all together.

It also does not matter if it is set to Silent, ring only, vibrate only etc.  I really don't want to re - start because it means having to re - load all over it again, which is just a pain in the back! Can someone tell me PLEASE how to stop doing all these weird things?

    You v much

    Hello

Just do a battery pull. While the unit is turned on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds, then reinsert the battery and wait for the device to reboot. It will wipe all the data of the device and is basically the same idea as your computer restarts. Once you're phone has rebooted, you'll be back running.

When you say re - start, I think that you need to refer to the upgrade or reload the operating system as a regular battery reboot to shoot a smartphone BlackBerry does not affect the data stored on the device.

If this does not help, check if you have a program installed as BeBuzz.  Some programs will allow you to customize your phone notifications, and that could be the culprit if the battery pull does not solve the problem.
