BlackBerry Smartphones Notifications in the search bar

Hello

My torch 9860 do not show notifications on the search bar until I press the search bar, and I don't know what the problem is.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

A simple battery pull should fix this.

With your phone, remove the battery and then replace it.

I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones middle of the space bar does not work?

    Hi all

I used a company Blackberry issued before, but I just bought myself a new model of the curve a few days ago.

I had a hard time typing today, and I realized that this is because the part of the space bar does not work. Specifically, if I push on the left or right edge of the space bar, I get a space. But if I press in the center of the space bar, the button clicks but 2/3 of the time that no space appears. So I have to press the button 2 or 3 times to get a space. Or I have to press the edges of the space bar.

Is this a problem with my specific blackberry or this entire line has this problem?

I should ask T-Mobile for a repair or replacement? I just got a few days... someone had success treats this issue before?

    Thank you all!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I've not seen all messages more precisely the space bar. It may be as simple as a dust or dirt stuck under the key.

If it was me, I take it immediately and get a new one. It may be defective. Why pay good money for something that may have a permanent problem?

    I hope this helps!

If this answers your question, please close the message by using the options on the key of the kudo.

    Thank you very much!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to move the Menu bar blue off the screen is just your desktop screen

By chance I was able to click on the Blue Menu bar instead of expand or contract, it falls to the bittom of the screen of the homepage. All that's left then is your home screen background. Any help on making it understandable for me?

Put your finger on the menu bar.  While continually pressing the screen, slide your finger upward, toward the top of your screen.  Presto, problem fixed!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, what happened to "search by sender" and "search by topic" options in the hub?

On my BBQ10 in the hub, I had the opportunity to select a message and then filtering of search by sender or subject. These options are not in the list, when a message is selected and I don't want to organize emails by thread. Am I missing something? Can I have this function return - the search bar General does ' t deliver the same way! Tips are welcome!

Go into your particular inbox (Gmail, Hotmail...) via the Blackberry hub. Press search (magnifying glass), then next to the magnifying glass, you will see a triangle. Tap it and you will see the options you need.

  • How can I remove a distracting green icon on the search bar?

Please find attached image of distracting green icon in the search bar. I saw 'elegant' installation options and editing of CSS scripts, but these make everyone feel as very complicated for a relatively simple problem; not to mention other users looking for a solution maybe not programmers, nor confident in editing scripts. This overlap of the icons is not aesthetic and constantly draws the eye to the search bar.

  • Firefox cannot connect to google in the search bar

I recently had an attacker change the IP address of the DNS server in my router to a bad. When it has been changed, I couldn't access google or facebook. I have fixed and can browse both sites, but the search bar in the upper right won't take me to google. I get an "Unable to connect" error. Do other search engines (e.g. wikipedia) is very good.

Firefox 37 right out of the box (+ router nonsense) on Ubuntu 14.

Time seems to have fixed. Maybe the https / /google.com ip has been in cache or something.

  • Nothing happens when I type a URL in the address bar and press ENTER. Nothing happens if I type anything in the search bar.

Firefox will not go to any URL typed in the address bar. Or it will search for anything typed into the search bar. I tried to open Firefox in Safe Mode, unchecking the compatibility options, the cleaning of my recent history (the history icon is not even appears in the Firefox toolbar more), affecting all the Add-ons "Always enable", restart the computer and uninstall then reinstall Firefox, and there's no up to present work. The uninstall feature does not completely uninstall Firefox because it does not delete my favorites who are all still present. The first symptom of a problem was an error message, the first fix I tried was reinstalling Firefox without uninstalling first. Now, the error message no longer appears, and I don't remember what it was.

Alternatively, you can choose to move the search bar 'bar 3' Firefox menu button in the drop-down list by right-clicking on search engine (Menu move) or via the mode icon customize.

The DOM Inspector shows that the search container has two rule to set the minimum width:

    • min-width: calc (54px + 11hp);
    • min-width: 25ch.

You need to replace this minimum to help reduce the search beyond this minimum bar.

    #search-container {
      min-width: 10ch !important;

whenever I use the search bar, I always find myself with ebay.COM or amazon or other U.S. sites, and it is annoying because the prices are in DOLLARS, no BOOKS and search bar "options" do not include no us sites for some reason any!

    Try https://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?

It is possible to add individual search engines

The best method is simply to install the version of Firefox.

There is no need to uninstall first it just download and run the installer again. Note the UK version currently use Google, but if preferred you can change this to Yahoo with a few mouse clicks.

  • Why no iphone 6 and iPad (mini and Air2) capital at the beginning of the first word in the search bar of Safari

Why no iPhone 6 and iPad (Mini and Air 2) not capitalize first letter of the first word in Safari on the search bar?

Web addresses contain no capital letters, nor do email. If looking at you any new credit card and it says to activate this card go to www.CardnameService.com/Activate, their meaning is www.cardnameservice.com/activate. It's the same thing.

The above examples are that of the examples.

  • Remove options for sites to add to the search bar

How the little green plus can prevent appering in my search bar? I don't want to anythin other than Google. Since the last update, it is not possible to double click previous text in the search in any bar. It's super annoying, when you double-click the word under the mousepoiner gets marked.

In the search bar and various other places, you can triple-click to select the contents of the entire (multiple words).

If you prefer the old style search bar and you want to roll back the clock for Firefox 33 times, here is the way:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search box that appears above the list, type or paste the Search and make a break while the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.search.showOneOffButtons to true to false

This does not affect the current window, but each new window that you open (Ctrl + n) will be the old search bar.

  • Search buttons do not appear in the search bar

Search buttons are the most important part of the search bar, and they're all gone. How can I get them back, see attachment...

Looks like the OneOffButtons preference is disabled.

Open Subject: config (typed in the address bar)
    Pref name = browser.search.showOneOffButtons
Do a right click and toggle this preference to true if it is now false.

    Then restart Firefox.

  • I lost the most views drop-down list under the search bar, it used several times in the same session, and then he just disappeared.

The drop-down list is / was my part used of any page, use it to access to everything I need. The only other thing I noticed changed it's new green bottom-tab at the top of each page: site Web Safe/number of trackers. I can't get rid of it. Avira virus control icon is on my desktop, but the icon also suddenly appeared on the right side of the search bar. I deleted it because I have it on the desktop. I have no why he appeared suddenly. It is my 3rd session today. I had not changed anything in previous sessions, so don't know why the drop down menu has disappeared.

    Any help appreciated.

Hi, hopefully a screenshot can make things more clear - when you right click in the area of the red dot, then a popup menu will appear where you can re-enable the toolbar of bookmarks.

  • Right click on the search bar, if there is already text inside, will bring up search suggestions in the context menu.

    I find cela bug/annoyance.

Hello m4lvolio, thank you for reporting this issue.
However, it is a mainly managed by the community support forum, probably isn't the right place to report bugs (we are unable to implement all the features & devs read here).
If you think this is a bug in the browser (and I can reproduce the issue certainly), please fill in a bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org.
