  In the folder view, by typing the letter M, you filter files to display only those that begin with the letter M.  It would work the same way, regardless of the letter on which you typed.

  To find this message by hand, go in your Messages Inbox, press menu and select search. You can then enter the search terms, such as 'Fingerprint' to find the message.

  Hello. Greetings. I have a question that is quite tricky and can not understand of I'vedone research on the internet with different keywords. So here's my situation:

  0. my old phone is Blackberry Bold 9780. Last OS I use is Blackberry 7.0 I think (already have Wi - Fi free call)

  1. I bought a new phone, Sony Xperia Z1. I opened the BBM on it. Then I entered Blackberry ID , I've used previously.

  2. after entering my Blackberry ID, I got transferred all BBM stuff in my Xperia Z1, including the contacts and groups that I have in my Bold 9780.

  3. I just tested for send messages in my Xperia Z1 BBM contact list and ask which showed my PIN. He said that only displayed a new (7xxxxxx), instead of my old one (2xxxxxx).

  4. Meanwhile, since I bought Xperia Z1, I have kept my old phone Bold 9780 without wiping or same nothing change and just leave it as its last condition without SIM card (it says "Insert SIM card"). Since I never used data connections , I still have my old BBM chats and contacts in there.

  5. my 5 year old son accidentally use my Bold 9780 of BBM and sent a lot of messages in people in contacts of the Bold 9780 BBM, although he did not use the SIM card. And Yes, the messages he sent chat appears with the icon of the clock (pending to be delivered). But I really hope that the messages will not be sent because the words are not necessary to read.

  Question (s):

  * What happens if I turn on my Wi - Fi connection for my Bold 9780?

  * Will be messages sent from my Bold 9780?

  * Should I just immediately remove contacts on BBM to my Bold 9780? (because I know all the messages I've sent to people will be deleted as well if I delete their contact, and it works)

  * ... And last confusion is, if I have to delete my Bold 9780 BBM contacts, should I remove my Z1 xperia as well since I use the same Blackberry ID to avoid messages sent in other?

  -nothing will happen if you turn on wifi. You can able to browse the internet, but you will not be able to use BlackBerry data services.
  -No, the messages will not be delivered as there is no sim card and your BBM contacts were automatically transferred to the mobile network to your new phone.
  -no need. It not there no more account BBM in your old. You're good, no worries.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. I realize that you have purchased a new battery, but please understand that 'new' and 'well known' are not necessarily the same thing... While it's rare, that a new battery cannot be subject to default. The best thing to do is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... to Exchange batteries and see what happens.

  In addition, the next thing is to try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started?   BBM and PIN messages are messages sent from one BlackBerry to another.  The message is composed by the sender and goes through the secure server of the RIM before being delivered to the recipient.  They are only available for BlackBerry users.

  The thing I like about them, it is how you can see if they have been received by the recipient.  Once the message reaches the recipient's phone, you will notice a small would be "at the beginning of your message.  In other words, that it is delivered.  When the recipient opens the message, who had "will change to a 'R' for 'reading'.  So now you know that it is actually received by the recipient.

  One more great thing about these messages, it's that there is no length limit.  As you probably know, most carriers limit SMS 160 characters; not the case with these messages, they can be much longer.

  BBM and PIN messages are of the same type of message, but with PIN messages, you are limited to just contact reception.  With BBM, you can have a lot of contacts on a cat, or you can broadcast a message to multiple contacts at the same time.

  With the BlackBerry, you can have up to 10 "BIS" (BlackBerry Internet Service) email addresses, but also a company e-mail sent to your BlackBerry address.  It is also SMS (text) messages, PIN of PIIN messages and MMS messages.

  Each BIS email address gets its own icon which will appear only this e-mail by e-mail address.  The Messages icon ALL E-mail addresses sent to the BlackBerry.  It will also display all messages in pine and optionally show the SMS (text) messages and phone calls, and IM still active cats.  But there is no icon for only PIN messages.

  The fact that there is no way to separate the email from company to a simple icon is a point of contention for some users.  There is a product (Empower BES Mailbox - OTA / Web $20) which will create an icon that displays only the Enterprise email.  However, you can also create a saved search to display only the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) email.

  If you prefer using a simple icon of Messages or have separate icons for each email address is a matter of personal preference.  If you have only one or two emails being sent to your BlackBerry, there is probably little difference.  However, I have six accounts BIS as a BES account delivered and many prefer to have a place to look when I hear or feel that a new message has arrived.

  In addition, equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard device, I'd rather be able to use the shortcut keys to access ALL the applications on my BlackBerry.  In fact, I have everything I don't need (including Messages, all messaging icons, address book, calendar, Notepad, etc.) in a folder called hidden since I never need them!

  Well, at least we are in the. I changed the batteries nn my Storm, and after re-booting account MSN icon (Windows Live) came with this envelope yellow w / Red "swoosh" which replaced the line 'globe' that used to be there (and still is with other e-mail accounts).  Also, when highlighted (the touch icon), it appears "bright", vsl other accounts.  If you go to the configuration of email, you will see another icon next to this account as well.

  If you go to your photos, you'll see a new image has been downloaded, the yellow envelope... is very disturbing.

  I deleted my MSN my BB and then re-created account.  The ICON returned to normal at the moment.

  A quick search on Google, it happened to a lot of blackberries recently.

  I'm a recent update of FrameMaker 9 FrameMaker 11. I use several notations with nonbreaking hyphens and nonbreaking spaces. In version 9, I was able to use the hexadecimal codes in the Find/Replace dialog box and search and replace these ratings. Now in version 11, it does not find these characters. I end up getting more I want.

  This text has a non-breaking hyphen and showing spaces are nonbreaking. When I entered the document these characters, I used the combination of keys "Esc hyphen:" for the hyphen and "Ctrl + space" for spaces.

  When I enter "(E\x15Vote\x10Sept.\x1012,\x102008)" and press the button Search, FrameMaker converts the text to "(E\+Vote\s#Sept.\s#12,\s#2008)" and refers to a "Not Found" statement. I get the error even if I copy the text and paste it into the Find/Replace dialog box. I tried with "Deal", "use wildcards" and whole-word checks both market. I can't find it.

  Honestly, I never noticed if verstion 9A made the conversion of \x15 to------+ and dialog of \x10 to \s#, in the search/replace because he always found what I was looking for.

  I hope someone can tell me how to solve this problem, because it is a feature I use all the time in FrameMaker. I use hyphens and nonbreaking spaces everywhere in my documents.

  I also reported this as a bug because that's what happens if feels like to me. I went out and updated my installation of FrameMaker, thinking that this may have been reported and already corrected.

  Use the most recent version, that I've highlighted in red. Latest = higher version number.

  I don't know the difference in what has been added or bugs fixed, RIM does not changelog with the upgrades of the OS release.
