BlackBerry Smartphones on BB8300 MMS

I have a BlackBerry 8300 through Sprint. I want to send an e-mail from the photo, but do not have the option. How do I find/get MMS on my phone. I don't have the possibility to send SMS texts.

You can't Sprint. They have been promising to enable MMS messaging for a few months now, but they did not.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS and MMS Inbox is empty

BB 8520; version of the device software 5.0.0.1067; carrier: ATT

I used the search option to find messages from Twitter, so I could remove them.  Delete messages took several tries, which surprised me.  Version 4 of the software of the device had no problem with this process.

Anyway, my SMS and MMS Inbox now appears to be empty.  I have to search to see my new SMS/MMS messages.

I had already backed up my camera and restored my Inbox TEXT Messages of this backup file, but it won't show any current traffic, a few items that I sent.  I have to do a search to see any current substance.

What should I do to rebuild my SMS Inbox, so I have all my messages again?  Perform a search on every time I receive a new SMS takes too long.

    Thank you.

Check this... on your device go to the main folder of Messages > press Menu > Options.

    There, choose the Inbox settings.

Don't you see the slots check and uncheck it to keep your SMS messages in the main folder, or off to create its own SMS folder? Please tell me what is your school?

And then do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now back up and running, you see your text messages in the SMS folder?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones call log, mms and text messeges remove themselves now!

    Hi, I'm new here...

I have an old 8310 18 months, today it has begun to clear the log of the calls and mms text messeges by itself!  I thought that maybe his memory was full, so I pulled the battery for 30 seconds, re-installed, and it continues the same... any idea?

    Thank you

    Ryan

Leaving the device turned on, remove the battery from your device, hold a minute, to replace and restart. What is now the free file?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS and MMS does not work after 10.26.09 software update.

I have the Verizon BlackBerry Storm 9530. When I try to extract the SMS and MMS messages, I get the following message: Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. After hours on the phone with Verizon, they blame the people of BlackBerry. So now I have no possibility to send SMS; the send or receive. Other than, I'm very happy with the update. Can someone help me? Thanks, Bouldaire

Of course, this does not either. I then did a restore of my office and 'bingo' everything works fine. I'm still distraught about the java error message; but luckily he is gone and everything works fine. Thanks for your persistence and time with me. Best regards, Patrick

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can receive MMS

    Hello

I'm new to BlackBerry since my wife bought me a 9000 for Christmas. According to me, the phone has been unlocked in the O2 network and I am currently on vodaphone talk.    The problem is, I can't receive MMS messages. I talked to vodaphone and they said I need to contact RIM to solve, but I was hoping that one of you, friendly people here may be able to help me. Whenever I am sent a MMS it says 'could not retrieve the content of the message, try again later' but I've never been able to recover one.are it all the settings on the phone that I have to change? or is it because I'm on talk and I need to be on a contract? also, I can't connect to the internet with the browser, while the comings and goings, I could previously through my old phone on Vodafone talk. I can get on the net via my LAN wireless at home, but it's not really useful as there are two computers and an ipod touch should I have to go.

any help or advice you could give me would be greatly appreicated.many thanks!

    Stupid people of Vodaphone.

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You need to get the data messages MMS, browser internet and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS and MMS icon when I load my custom theme

I built a custom theme using the Plazmic 4.1.0.19 theme generator. When I insert the new theme, the SMS and MMS icon is gone. My theme is set to display the first 10 icons that you see when you press the MENU key. For some reason the SMS and MMS icon is not there anymore. All other icons are there. When I switch to my old theme, he's there. No one knows what causes this problem.

I ran a test by creating the topic without using the order of application device and put the SMS and MMS icon on the home screen. When I insert this theme to test, the SMS and MMS icon area is just a dark background on the home screen.

I made a minor change in the theme and reloaded on the "BOLD". This seems to fix.

  • Cat blackBerry Smartphones SMS and MMS problem

Please help me. I have by mistake upgraded to version 5 and now have a problem with SMS'ing on my Curve 8900.  If I send an SMS to someone and then try and send another to someone else, it displays the name of the elderly and send the sms to them instead of the new person.  I can't open a new conversation and get also not individual responses of people, but the answers combined into a conversation continues. I come to verson 4?

Personally, rather than demote, I would upgrade to the newer version 5.0.0.50 9 official, which fixes this bug.

I got a notification of download... but the piccy na not yet

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello!!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If no, then you will probably need to perform a clean OS reload... something in the update of the operating system that you have done have been damaged.

and where is called fm radio?

For that matter, there is no software that can overcome the fact that your model does not have a receiver of FM radio inside. Only some models which, and so only they can get the FM radio service... see this:
