BlackBerry smartphones one of the two e-mail is more passed on the phone

For more than a year, I received email on my curve two accounts, a job and a Cox.net.  From today I no longer receive Cox.net email.  I'm a donkey when it comes to such things and I hope someone can help because I'm leaving town in the morning.  Thank you.

Thank you very much for your efforts.  I was able to reach the Verizon Blackberry support at 23:00 my time and the person helped me to 're-save' my Cox.net service.  From what I can tell, the problem had to do with Cox.net.  Thanks again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot lock the phone through blackberry ID

    Hello

I take a phone of my coleague who has left the company. For some reason, I can't able to connect on the phone. Firstly I didn't at first, the password of my coleague ex, I went online and changed the password. However, when I want to connect with my new password to unlock the phone, I have this message:

"You have exceeded the number of attempts to connect.

For security reasons, you have been locked for 15 minutes. "Click on forgotten password if you need create a new password.

But after 15 minutes and try again, the message... helpppp

You try the BlackBerryID, or the security password, on the device?

It looks like the BlackBerryID if you are locked out for 15 minutes.

A wrong entered security password would give you only a message something like «wrong password 2/10»

Then, to change the BBID of this device and make it 'your own' device, you'll need to do a wipe of the device security. This will delete all the data in personal, contacts, calendar, etc. and restore the State of the plant basically.

  • Notifications of calendar to blackBerry Smartphones turn on the phone

I searched for the answer and can't find it.  I have a Blackberry 8330 and love it.  If the phone is turned off and I have a notification callback to the calendar (for a meeting), it will turn the phone back on.  It's very irritating in a film or in a plane - when your phone is turned off. I know how to go in the profile and advanced and make changes.  However, under calendar, it doesn't give me that les options options 'ring', 'volume', 'number of beeps', 'repeat notification' to remove the flashing LED or "number of vibrations."   Help, please.  He's on the phone to my husband too.

Is this a feature of the phone or carrier?  I have Sprint as a carrier.  One of my friends has Verizon and its not done.

IT IS EVERYTHING!  I have my "auto on / off", set up on my phone.  If I don't get this option when I turn off the phone with the key.  But if I'm going to "turn off the power" on the screen, it gives me this opportunity.  And it works, it keeps the phone off.

    Thank you very much!!!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Missing calls - the phone rings do not

Sometimes my phone acts as if it were the silent mode: a call comes in and I can see it on the screen, but it does not have a ringing sound. The very next call sounds great, even if it is the same person who called when the phone was silent. The sound settings are set to 'Normal '. The tech at the local store guys are confused.

    Any ideas why this happens?

    Thank you very much!

I had this problem too, and the only solution was to reboot the phone and then remove the battery.  I brought back to the cell shop where I got it; they had placed the phone software updated and location of PRL, they even tried wiping the own phone electronically.

It was an intermittent problem, so I had to constantly check to see if the ringer would work.  If the cell store eventually brought down and replaced by a new.  Now I think it works very well.  Touch wood.

Please send the site for MP3 and I'll check it out.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how lock the phone?

I can't find a way to block my phone. What I want is so that it can be locked once I turned off and need to type a password to review its content. Essentially a measure of security. I tried all the tricks of password but can not understand and is not really doing what I want it to. Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forums. I'm not sure that I fully understand what you are looking for in what concerns your BB to lock. If you tried to set a password, and it was not what you liked? You can quickly lock your device in now the * key. If you have a password enabled, you can type on it to unlock everything. If you have a case with a magnet nearby, you can set your device to lock onto Holster. A password is needed to unlock after waking from sleep. Your device is paused when the case or when you press mute. I hope that helped. I would like to know if I was far away or if you have any other questions.

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) books of forwarding Service

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not get notifications by e-mail on the external screen

I don't know what caused it, exactly, but I do not receive the e-mail notifications on the screen of my Blackberry Pearl 8220.  Only, it's happened for the last day or two.  I checked and external notifications are always enabled in the options and he responds always with any other put in my profile (vibrating and the led), but the screen won't turn on even when a new message arrives.  Any ideas what could be causing this, or what I could do to fix it?

If you remove the battery and reinsert external screen should start to work. It allows to update the phone software you can download from your service providers web site.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 2 BBs with two numbers and even e-mail address

    Hello

I have a BB with a number of Vodafone in Portugal. I want to buy now
Another BB to use with another number to Vodafone, this case of
    Ireland.

My question is if I can have two phones with the same
at the same time Gmail address? When an e-mail is received, it will go
two phones at the same time?

    Thanks for your help

    Manual

    Jameskemp is correct.

When you configure an e-mail address on your BlackBerry, you are associating the delivery of this email address to your phone PIN code.  You can have an e-mail address goes to two different pins at the same time.

    Now, you know.

  • Ask sudden blackBerry smartphones to validate the password to the e-mail address...

Have been using "BOLD" for 1 year +, received this request (strange)... However under "Email accounts" cannot access the e-mail settings because it will not recognize the user name and password!  When to put in e-mail (user name) settings (which continue to work on laptop) receive the following text: ""the information provided is incorrect. " Retype your user name and password. Your username and password are case sensitive."

Am at a complete loss and cannot be resolved (which I need to do within 36 hours because am going abroad and need my BB to work!  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

The solution of sdgardne to try the Vodafone BIS site is a good thing.  If, for any reason, you are not willing or unable to connect on this site, I had very successful edition details email on my phone by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in the browser on my phone.

Just another option for you to consider.

  • BlackBerry smartphones am I the only one?

Am I the only one who has no problem with my 9700? I got it for months. Make sure that I have back up. Get the latest updates (even when I'm on AT & T and they are not depasse.602.938), and make sure Desktop Manager is updated. And I've never had a problem. I downloaded the applications I need and use and about 120 free meg (won about 10 meg with updated jour.938). My keys are loose, trackball works very well and receiving the phone is perfect... even with AT & t. so fine autonomy (it enters mode standby in the case). But it is above all a phone. If I need heavy calculation, I have my laptop. I put 6 OS on it, but if I don't, I'll just remove it. I'll get a touchscreen.

I know too many people who have and had iphones and droids with nothing else problems. They are all complaining about poor reception, dead screen and terrible autonomy pixels. But they like to play with apps, they can download. Guess I'm just tired of reading all the thing that people don't like and it's time to see good things for a change.

After having mobile phones for more than 20 years, yes I had also big car phones, I learned a lesson. A phone is a phone, not a full-size computer. And if you have a problem with it, try the easy thing... Google it. You will discover that if you encounter a problem, someone else has probably had the sam problem and solved.

In the end, if you want a good all around business phone, get a Blackberry. If you not interested the business end of it, but want to have something with which you can play, then get a droid or iphone. Or, as I'm starting to see more and more, get a Blackberry to work with and a droid or iphone to take with you when you're bored.

Sorry to the wide spout, but I can't be the only one out there who feels that way.

I had no problems at all. I don't use headphones, however.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I'm sorry, but the errors you posted seem somewhat independent... so I need clarification please:

    Gbassi wrote:

Then I upgraded OS to v7.0.0.513 to 7.1.0.366-> BBM did not work

Unfortunately, "did not work" is not really diagnosable. What, exactly, have you tried? What, exactly, happened every step of what you tried?

    Gbassi wrote:

    So I drove back and re-installed 7.0->

    (2) BB App World must be closed

I do not see how these two errors are related to the first, you were trying to throw the maps app when it appeared? For the second, which came with the maps app? Or is separate #2 and lies somewhere in the process by using your AppWorld? Complete step by step of what you try, with a full explanation of what is happening at each stage, including the full text of all error messages, is essential to understand your situation and if all goes well to guide. Otherwise, we have to guess...

So I guess. My guess is that, once you upgrade to 7.1, you don't have to perform a few extra steps to ensure that all services were properly enabled on your BB. Here are the steps. I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! You can try these few points in your process... either now (on 7.0.0.513) or after you re - try to upgrade to 7.1.0.366.

    Good luck!

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider to support formal... consider that you pay for your services and official support and now they seem not to be to deliver. They have even the power to escalate your case officially until BlackBerry if they can't solve it, but you have does them not you fob off the coast with things like "it seems" good on our end... they are responsible for the provision of services to you, you pay for it.
