BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook 2010 Sync event problem all day

I just migrate to a Bold 9900 (from a Torch 9800) and have problems with the Outlook EVENTS. When they are synchronized via the desktop (7.0.0.43) they drive appear as a 2 day event. I have Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 client running and everything worked well until I migrated from the torch. I checked the time zones on PC and phone and only issue I noticed is that Windows 7 uses UTC while the handset is GMT, but it is the same for the Torch 9800? The events are correctly appear as expected in Outlook.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Come back 6 DTM - all is forgiven! Having failed to find a solution, I downgraded my Torch 9800 and found disgust that the problem came also! I talked to a boy good at Vodafone UK, which suggested that there had been similar risks and suggested I remove my desktop and re - install V5 - only problem was that she would not support Outlook 2010, so went to 6 DTM and bingo all works well again.

So I am happy again with DTM 6, Windows 7, Outlook 2010 and Torch 9800 running v6.0 bundle 2949.

I guess 6 DTM will not support the new OS with a 9900, but I sent the handset back for now until I have decide to try a 9810 or leave the ship for an iPhone?

    Hey oliroyal,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

First, check your services by default on the device under Options, Advanced Options, default services.
If the default services are configured correctly I suggest try to create a new MAPI profile, as shown in this articlehttp://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02083 and then reconfigure the Desktop as described herehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17022 software

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook calendar sync problem

I have a BB8310 gave me great service to more than a year.  Two days ago, the calendar stopped syncing with Outlook calendar.  During the synchronization, the address list, task list, Notepad all sync perfectly.  Calendar does not synchronize.  Any suggestions?

After all has no other, I noted that your mention of the facebook conflict.  I decided to remove the facebook program on my total of BB to see if that would clear up the question.  After you remove the program, facebook and re - synchronize only calendar, calendar sync worked well.  Just a lucky guess.  Must be a problem between facebook and Microsoft Outlook program.  Since having my calendar was more important than having the mobile facebook, deletion was not a concern for me.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB and syncing IMAP show all messages as New

    Hey,.

Currently, I do not have a BB, but there are about 5 BB (perls) in use in the office.  We do not use the e-mail server of BB, BBs just to connect to the IMAP server through port 143 and get their e-mail.

We are in the midst of changing over our server to a new server and began to import the messages.  However, people receive all the messages in the form of new messages on their BBs even if messages are not new on their e-mail accounts.

It is a huge huge problem that some uses have thousands of emails indicating the BB are new.

How can I fix this other then to have the imported messages go to a separate folder?

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

While I'm not an IMAP (or other!) expert, what you describe sounds like she is what one would expect. BB don't retrieve email from your server - instead, the BIS, hosted service with your operator, who made and then pushes the novelties for the BB. Each email is tagged with a unique identifier, which includes the server where they came from, in my opinion. As you import messages to your new server, BIS will interpret as new messages to the end-user, and bring them to the BB through the new guidance of BIS for the new mail server.

What you can do is decide which emails you want to just the users to have on their BB. Then you should wipe on BIS lines for the old mail server. If you want the users of all the old emails, then what you will accomplish that. But, if you do not want that they have old emails, then you would also remove the conduit BIS to the new server and create only after completing the import. BIS is set to make a BB from the activation time for email account - so if it is not configured at the same time that you perform the import, then BIS even will not try to put these messages when you turn it on later for the new server messages.

Of course, before all this, a full backup of the BB would be wise... You never know...

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync with Outlook 2010

Recently, we have made a number of hardware upgrades on our computer and installed Windows 7 and Office 2010 about 3 weeks ago (no updates full versions). I was unable to sync my BB since then and after reading through the discussion forums have discovered that I am not alone. I downloaded the latest update of the BB which I understand would make my BB and compatible Office.

I don't know if the problems are related to the office is not compatible and BB or if there is another problem with my computer. This is what I did and meets:

-downloaded the version of BB 6.0.0.43 update; BB would not recognize Outlook, when I tried to organize my Contacts and address book. I tried to fix it and then uninstall then reinstall this update several times.

-abandoned and downloaded CompanionLink; Message received error "Click-to-run Outlook has no ability to the API. You must install Outlook on your computer for synchronization. I asked for assistance from CompanionLink, but continue to have no chance. The link 'Add-Ins' in my BB Desktop Software was available when I first downloaded CompanionLink, but has now disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I tried to fix the update of BB to see if it would solve it.

-in the BB Desktop Software Applications tab, she says BB 5.0.0 software version 5.0.0 system and Core Application Version 5.0.0. are necessary, but it does not give me the option to install it. I thought that the updated version replaced 6.0.0.43 version 5.0.0. I don't know if this is true or if it is important.

I don't know if there is a problem syncing between my BB and Outlook or if something else is happening. I'd appreciate any help or advice that can be given. Thank you for the advice,

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry w / Outlook 2010

I was not around the forum for a while, so if this has been covered I'm sorry to raise again.  In any case I have the curve, it's a phone work and work, I loaded DM on my computer and I use Outlook 2003.  All sync is good between the curve and the prospects, no problem at all.  At home, I did a clean install of Windows 7 a few months ago and reloaded all my software.  Downloaded DM and it works OK.  My problem was I didn't have home & student on my MS Office and has no Outlook Saturday I went and bought Outlook 2010 because I wanted to get all my contacts and calendar to my curve on my computer at home.  The DM is not sync'ing with Outlook 2010.  I get "No available memory store".  I Googled it and it seems that there is a problem with how Outlook 2010 works and maybe RIM has failed to make adjustments for the 2010 changes.  Does anyone know how to make this work, or am I missing something simple?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync my calendar with MS Outlook

I have a BlackBerry 8830 and am using BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize with my laptop. The operating system is Vista Home and I sync with MS Outlook. I was able to sync without problem since getting the phone in the month of April. There are, all of a sudden a few days during synchronization, I get an error message Intellisync error message 'failed to complete request. In chekcing far I determined that everything except the calendar will sync. First of all, I used the original cd to 'fix' the Desktop Manager software. That did not help so I uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Which doesn't work anymore. Read the suggestions on this website I'm stuck when it comes to what to do next.  When I "view log" on the 'configuration' tab, the last two lines are:

    #-734 internal error.

    Cancelled translation.

I came empty when I typed the internal error number in the search engine.

I think it has something to do with a recurring appointment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not Sync past Outlook appointment with my new Blackberry 9300

OK, so I have my new curve and I love it.  Problem is that I can't seem to synchronize my outlook appointment old no matter what I try.  I put the old store never entered and tried re sync.  Does not work.  I tried everything I can possibly think.  I am using the new 6 blackberry desktop software that is different from the one which seemed to be easier to use.  I also use outlook 2007 with a business email account.  Help, please.

Finally managed to do work.  I removed all my computer Blackberry Desktop software.  Apparently, I had a couple of previous versions.  Deleted the latest version 6.0 as well.  Restarted my computer and downloaded the desktop software 6.0 again and installed it.  This time, when I was setting up the configuration settings it gave me the option when I clicked on the calendar to load from outlook, to load all appointments (instead of a just future) and also to choose a way to transfer.  Also done with the contacts option.  Sync and hop all my latest appointments.  Returned in the configuration on the desktop software settings and set it to sync both calendar and contacts in the future.  Wish I thought that it was a matter of software of office a long time ago and not only certain setting in the device blackberry itself.  Lost so much time on it.  O well good go now I hope this helps someone else.

  • Bishop Office of Smartphones, blackBerry and Outlook 2010

Okay, I know it does not work...

    Also don't Calnendar Google Sync...

So now I have 3 calendars that wont sync - Google Calendar, Outlook 2010, and BB. Removes a lot of the benefits of a 'smartphone' or should it be not-so-smartphone.

We are now > 2010 path through the half so come on RIM we have support for Outlook 2010 please.

    :-(

    OK problem solved--no. thanks RIM.

The original upgrade on the desktop was the previous version - it found the update and made the necessary - problems then ensued as described.

I deleted the software completely, and then went to the web site of BB and downloaded.

Interestingly, the zip file has been about 6 MB or so much bigger than the automated version.

Then I went to the Organizer tab and you click on restore the settings before I tried to set up and hey presto which seemed to work.

    Smart - No.

    Confidence-building - no

    It works - Yes.

So, if anyone knows my pain test above.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Outlook and BB not wireless sync. The BES.

    Hello

I recently changed from seven years of Windows Mobile to BB. I am on a BES and the changes I make on the prospects to your desktop or Blackberry (Bold) are not synchronization in both directions. It's frustrating. My COMPUTER helpdesk advised me to "clean up" the BB a couple of times and we did it. Also my manager office of BB is not configured for synchronization as by their advisor who they explain everything is wireless.

It of frustrating and makes me think how it was easy with Windows mobile. Help, please.

    Thank you.

Your BES admins should work on the issue of synchronization.

For the issue of the separate boxes of Messages, see this...

By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

    • KB15003 How to create an icon on the BlackBerry smartphone to BlackBerry Enterprise Server messages

Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

Or, if you have the correct device OS version (I know for sure it works on 5.0.0.32 8 of the storm), the device gives you options for what to display in Messages and you can remove BIS email accounts.

I hope this helps explain how it all works!

    Good luck!

New BBZ10. I can't find how to synchronize my Outlook 2010 (calendar and contacts). I used to have "BOLD" and could be done by USB on DesktopManager. Now, can't figure out how? Help?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync the calendar via the office - error 0x80040ffe

Try a BlackBerry Bold 9650 on Verizon I look to migrate from PalmOS.  I don't want to sync my personal information on the job server, so am sync all databases PIM to an Outlook .pst file.  However, the calendar will not sync - I get a message that says:

"Error occurred.  "Error code: 0x80040ffe, check documentation.

Of course, this documentation does not exist.  I saw a few other people mention this error on the forums, but no clear answer.

I do not think it is a problem with the calendar itself, as the conduct of third parties for Pocket Informant allows you to synchronize calendar very well.  Thus, it seems to be a problem with the desktop computer.

Running on a machine of Windows 7 with Outlook 2010.  One solution I've seen problems with some other software is to disable UAC during installation, but do not know if it would help.

Synchronization log indicates that all of the events of 2700 + have been read, but journal ends with this:

    'Internal error.
    Cancelled translation! »

    Suggestions?

Find my own solution.  The accident produced during playback of the calendar of the device - there was previously a partial synchronization and the BB database was apparently altered.  Actually have 5000 + events on Outlook, so that a party had obtained the device before.  Deleted the BB Calendar database and synchronization of Outlook has been a success.  Problem SOLVED
